Chartered accountants and accounting firms · Content marketing

Answer the notice question in writing before the owner rings another firm.

Content marketing for a practice is the partners' knowledge written down, so an owner with a problem finds it and works out that you deal with this every week. GullySales plans what to write against the compliance calendar and drafts it from a short call with the partner.

A newsstand under a striped awning: three tiers of folded publications racked spine on, one title on the top tier turned to face the street, and a crate of rolled copies at the foot of the stand

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the free audit onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For chartered accountants and accounting firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The notice in hand is the best brief you will get

Write the page for the section number printed on it, because that number is what the owner types into Google at ten at night.

  • Sharing knowledge is the permitted route

The code restricts soliciting, not explaining. Articles, talks and study circle papers under a partner's name have always been how a practice became known.

  • Write for the owner, not for other CAs

An article pitched at your peers impresses them and loses the reader, who wanted to know whether he now owes interest.

What we do

What we deliver for chartered accountants and accounting firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A list of what to write, taken from your own enquiries

The questions clients and prospects have actually asked over the past year, collected from the partners and the managers and ordered by how often they come up.

Result: You write what people ask instead of what reads well.

  2. A page for each notice an owner receives

A plain explanation of each common notice and intimation, what it means, what the deadline is and what happens if it is missed, written for an owner and not for a professional.

Result: Somebody holding that letter finds a firm that clearly handles it.

  3. Budget and amendment notes published within two days

A short explanation of what changed for your kind of client, drafted from a call with the partner and published while the question is still live.

Result: Clients forward your note rather than somebody else's.

  4. A startup compliance checklist worth keeping

Incorporation, ROC filings, ESOP basics and what an investor asks for at due diligence, set out as one document a founder saves.

Result: Founders have your document open when the first investor asks.

  5. Sector guides for the clients you want more of

One guide each for the trades the partners decided to serve, covering the compliance a manufacturer, an exporter or a builder actually runs into.

Result: A prospect sees a firm that already knows his trade.

  6. Publishing kept to a routine that survives the season

One piece finished and published before the next is started, reviewed by the named partner, with the code check run before it goes live.

Result: Six good pages get published instead of twenty drafts.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for chartered accountants and accounting firms

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where your clients come from, which services and client types you want more of, and what the institutes allow for your firm.

  2. 2

    Fix the proposal step

Engagement templates and a follow-up rule, so every serious enquiry gets a clear scope within days.

  3. 3

    Build the presence

A website organised by client type and service, consistent directory details and partner profiles, all within ICAI and ICSI guidance.

  4. 4

    Share knowledge

Articles, updates and talks under the partners' names, placed where bankers, founders and business owners read them.

  5. 5

    Grow the retainer book

Season-end conversion, cross-service reviews and referral relationships maintained through staff changes.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is publishing articles allowed under the code?
Sharing knowledge has long been the permitted route, which is why partners write in journals and speak at study circles. The wording matters more than the act: keep out comparative claims and anything that solicits. Check the current guidance for anything you are unsure of.
Who writes it when the partners have no time?
A writer drafts from a twenty-minute call and the partner corrects it. That is about an hour of partner time a month, and the only part nobody else can do.
Can a chartered accountant advertise?
Only within the ICAI code of ethics, which restricts advertising and solicitation by members in practice. Websites and directory listings are allowed within the Institute's guidelines, and so is sharing knowledge through articles and talks. We check the current guidelines with you before anything is published and avoid claims of superiority, fee advertising and testimonials.
Can we run Google Ads for our firm?
We treat paid advertising as something to clear against the current ICAI guidance first, and for most firms we do not start there. A clear website, correct profiles and knowledge content usually bring enough of the right enquiries without that question.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
