GullySales

E-commerce · Digital Downloads

The buyer paid for a planner and printed it with the margins cut off.

A printable sale is made before the file is opened and the customer's experience is decided afterwards, on their own printer. A planner that prints beautifully on an A4 laser printer and badly on a home inkjet gets a one-star review and a refund request.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

In one paragraph

Printable products are files that the buyer prints at home or at a print shop: planners, worksheets, wall art, party invitations, labels and colouring pages. GullySales works on how the page sets out paper size, ink use and printing instructions, and how a seasonal seller keeps buyers between peaks.

Printables are also seasonal in a way that catches new sellers out. Back-to-school, exam time, festivals, weddings, baby showers and the New Year each have a window, and the listing for each has to be live and ranked before it opens.

Who it is for

This is written for you if you sell printable products online.

  • Teachers and parents selling worksheets, flash cards and activity pages
  • Designers of planners, habit trackers, budget sheets and journals
  • Sellers of wall art, quotes and posters meant for a frame
  • Makers of party, wedding and baby shower invitations, banners and labels

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Anyone using characters or brand artwork they do not own. Marketplaces remove those listings and the shop with them.
  • Sellers who will not test a print on a real printer. The thing being sold is the printed page, and it must be checked.

How buyers choose

What decides the sale of printable products.

  1. Paper size and how it prints

A buyer in India prints on A4, and in North America on US Letter. The listing has to say which, and whether the file also fits A5, A3 and a standard frame size.

  2. Ink and colour

Parents and teachers care how much ink a page uses and whether black and white is offered. A page with a dark background is judged against that.

  3. Editable or fixed

Invitations and labels need the buyer's own names and dates. The buyer asks whether it is edited in a browser, on a phone or in PDF software, and whether it needs an account.

  4. Seasonal timing and the last-minute buyer

A birthday banner is searched for two days before the party. Instant download is the offer, and the page should say so at the top.

Where sales are lost

What usually goes wrong when you sell printable products online.

In the words sellers use on the first call.

  • “Buyers say the file prints wrongly”

The usual causes are a scaling box ticked in the print window, a printer that cannot print to the edge and the wrong paper size. A short printing guide on the thank-you page answers most of them.

  • “Sales fall off a cliff after the season”

A back-to-school pack sells for six weeks and then nothing. A year-round range, such as planners and habit trackers, steadies the shop and gives the seasonal buyer something to return to.

  • “Our listing is buried among thousands of similar ones”

A broad word like planner has too many results. Narrow ones, such as a medicine tracker for elderly parents or a Class 4 maths worksheet set, find the buyer who needs exactly that.

  • “Teachers copy one worksheet to the whole staff room”

A single-classroom licence with a lower price and a school-wide licence at a higher one makes the share a purchase, not a leak.

What we do

What you get for printable products.

Each deliverable and what it is there to change.

  1. A printing guide

A single page of print settings for each file type. It prevents the commonest complaint and the refund that follows.

  2. A seasonal listing calendar

A dated plan of what is listed and when, by occasion. It brings the pack to the buyer before the rush.

  3. Listing rewrites by use

New titles and first lines for the best sellers and the ones that should sell. They separate your listing from the broad ones.

  4. A school and classroom licence

The wording and price for single and whole-school use. It brings in the bigger buyer who would otherwise copy the file.

How the result is measured

  • Listing views
  • Purchases
  • Average order value
  • Repeat purchase rate
  • Seasonal against year-round sales
  • Refunds and print complaints

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

What we need from you

What to have ready before the audit call.

None of it has to be tidy. We read what you have.

  • Your shop link and list of printables
  • The paper sizes and file types you offer
  • Last year's sales by month, so the seasons show
  • Complaints and refund requests from buyers
  • Any plans for new packs or a new language

Selling in India and abroad

Selling printable products beyond your own market.

Where you sell decides sizes, units, seasons and returns. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new country we start from your own sales and the platforms you already use.

  1. A4 or Letter, and the date

Printables for the United States need Letter size, and calendars and planners need the right start of the week. The wrong one is an immediate reason to refuse the file.

  2. Occasions and school years differ

School calendars run to different dates abroad, and holidays are not ours. Packs for another country need its own term dates and its own festivals, planned beforehand.

  3. Language of the worksheet

Indian-language worksheets and invitations have a following among families abroad who want their children to read their own script. Your order data will tell you where they are.

FAQ

Questions about selling printable products online.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Is Etsy the right place for printables?
It is where many printable buyers already look, so start there. Then collect emails and keep your own store, so the shop does not rest on one platform's search.
How many printables do I need to start?
Enough that a buyer finds a second thing to buy. A single listing is hard to rank; a shop with a themed set of fifteen or twenty has a reason to exist and a bundle to offer.
Can I sell worksheets that match a school syllabus?
Yes, and the buyer will ask which board and class. State both on the listing. Do not use any publisher's pages or school material you do not hold the rights to.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.
