E-commerce · Tyres & Wheels
The transporter asks for a price per tyre, then rings three dealers and orders from the one who calls back.
A transporter does not buy a tyre. They buy a cost per kilometre across a fleet, and a tyre is a line in that. The owner of five trucks asks what each position should run, how long a casing lasts, whether a retread is worth it, and who will come to the yard when a tyre goes on the highway.
A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.
In one paragraph
Commercial vehicle tyre e-commerce is the online sale of truck, bus and light commercial vehicle tyres, tubes and flaps, bought by fleet owners, transporters and bus operators on a quotation. GullySales builds the size and position pages, the fleet quotation route and the follow-up that wins the repeat order.
That is a quotation sale, and a slow one. The owner may have a regular dealer and give an occasional order to a new one. A dealer who answers fast, shows the sizes, and follows up the next time the fleet needs tyres is the one who keeps the account.

Who it is for
This is written for you if you sell commercial vehicle tyres online.
- Authorised and multi-brand dealers of truck and bus tyres in a transport belt
- Distributors who supply tyres for light commercial vehicles and tippers
- Retread and tyre-service businesses that want fleet owners to find them
- Brands selling to bus operators, school fleets and construction firms
Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- Dealers who want to sell commercial tyres to the public by cart with no quotation. This is not bought that way.
- Sellers who cannot reach a fleet's yard or highway breakdown. Fleet owners buy on service as much as on price.
How buyers choose
What decides the sale of commercial vehicle tyres.
Size and axle position
The buyer gives the size as printed, such as a truck tyre in the 295/80 R22.5 form or the older 10.00 R20 form, and the position it goes on: steer, drive or trailer. The page names both.
Cost per kilometre
A cheaper tyre that runs fewer kilometres is dearer. Fleet owners keep records of what each tyre ran, and trust a dealer who talks about their routes and loads.
Radial or the older bias type
Many fleets are moving to radials, some routes and vehicles still use bias tyres. The buyer asks which suits the load and road, and the dealer's answer matters.
Retreads and casings
A good casing is retreaded more than once. Buyers ask for new tyres and for retread work, and look for a dealer who handles both and advises on the casing.
Where sales are lost
What usually goes wrong when you sell commercial vehicle tyres online.
In the words sellers use on the first call.
“Fleet owners ask for a rate and never place the order”
A rate sent as a message is compared in minutes. The quotation should carry the sizes, the positions, the brand and the credit terms, with a dated follow-up.
“We win the first order and lose the second”
The fleet buys again when tyres wear out, and that date is knowable. A list of each fleet's vehicles and last purchase, with a call when the next set is due, turns one order into an account.
“A breakdown call goes to the nearest dealer, not to us”
Highway breakdown is the entry point to many fleets. A profile on the maps with a phone number for the stretch you cover gets you the call.
“Buyers ask for a warranty claim and nobody knows who owns it”
A tyre failure claim goes to the maker through the dealer. The page and your team should say how it is made, and who inspects it, as the brand states.
The scope
The work we would propose for commercial vehicle tyres.
Measured on purchases and, for trade buyers, qualified enquiries, quotation requests and repeat orders. Anything here that needs a platform or tool we have not used with you is confirmed in the audit before it goes in the scope.
- Size and position pagesA page for each commercial size, with the position it suits, radial or bias, tube or tubeless, and the brands you stock.
- Fleet quotation formA form that asks vehicle type, number of vehicles, tyre size, position and delivery location, so the first quotation is complete.
- Quotation follow-upEach quotation is given an owner and a date for the next call, and a reason is recorded when it is won or lost.
- Fleet account listA list of fleets with their vehicles, sizes and purchase dates, and a call when the next set is due.
- Local profiles along your routesGoogle Business Profiles for each yard or outlet, with breakdown contact and the services offered, so the call goes to you when a tyre fails nearby.
Retread and casing advice page
A page on what makes a casing worth retreading, written with your technical staff and the brand's guidance, which fleet owners share among themselves.
What we do
What you get for commercial vehicle tyres.
Each deliverable and what it is there to change.
A fleet quotation template
A format with size, position, brand and terms in one page. The buyer gets one complete quotation instead of three half-answers.
A fleet account sheet
Each fleet's vehicles, sizes and last purchase dates, with the next call. It is the base of repeat orders.
A size and position guide
A page that maps common vehicles to the sizes and positions they use. It brings buyers who start from the vehicle.
A breakdown contact profile
A set of local profiles with a direct number. It gets you the call when a tyre fails on your stretch.
How the result is measured
- Qualified enquiries from fleets
- Quotation requests
- Follow-up on each quotation
- Orders won
- Repeat orders
- Breakdown calls from local profiles
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Selling in India and abroad
Selling commercial vehicle tyres beyond your own market.
Where you sell decides sizes, units, seasons and returns. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new country we start from your own sales and the platforms you already use.
Truck tyre sizes and load ratings
Truck tyres are specified differently across markets, in size format and load rating. An overseas page uses the buyer's format, matched to yours, and leaves it to the importer to confirm what the market allows.
Shipping and duty
Truck tyres are heavy and bulky. Whether an export order makes sense depends on the freight and duty your forwarder quotes, so start with enquiries you already receive.

The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
