E-commerce · Tyres & Wheels
Buyers love the design but will not order until someone confirms the offset.
Alloy wheels are bought with the eyes and checked with a spanner. A buyer scrolls past forty designs, picks one that suits the car, and then discovers that the bolt pattern, the offset and the centre bore all have to match, or the wheel will rub, vibrate or not fit at all.
A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.
In one paragraph
Wheel e-commerce is the online sale of alloy and steel wheels sold by diameter, width, bolt pattern, offset and centre bore, bought for looks or as a replacement for a damaged one. GullySales builds fitment pages with those specifications, a visual preview on the buyer's car, and a confirmation route before dispatch.
That discovery is where most wheel sales are lost or returned. The seller who spells out the specification in plain words, and offers to confirm with the car's year, wins the buyer who has been burnt before.
Last updated 7 Oct 2026. Product, labelling and advertising rules for tyres & wheels differ by product and change. We describe them in general terms, so check the current position with your own adviser or the regulator before you publish a claim.
Who it is for
This is written for you if you sell wheels online.
- Sellers of alloy wheels for hatchbacks, sedans and SUVs, new and replacement
- Dealers who sell wheels with tyres fitted as a package
- Sellers of steel wheels and wheel covers for budget cars and fleet use
- Refurbishers and wheel repair workshops that also sell reconditioned wheels
Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- Sellers who cannot state the offset and bolt pattern of what they sell. Without them, the buyer is guessing and returns follow.
- Anyone who wants to describe a wheel or size as road legal or approved without papers. Rules on modification differ, and your adviser should read the line.
How buyers choose
What decides the sale of wheels.
Bolt pattern, offset and centre bore
Four bolts or five, on what spacing. How far the wheel sits in or out. Whether the hub fits the hole in the middle. Experienced buyers ask these in the first message, and newer buyers learn them from a refund.
How it looks on the car
A wheel seen on a stand tells the buyer nothing. A photograph on their model and colour, or a preview tool that places the wheel on the car, is the deciding picture.
Diameter and the tyre that goes with it
Fit a bigger wheel and the tyre has to be lower, or the rolling diameter changes. The buyer asks about ride, about the speedometer and about clearance in the wheel arch.
Finish and the way it wears
Machined, painted or gloss black. Buyers ask how a finish stands up to brake dust, rain and a wash, and look for photographs of wheels after use.
Where sales are lost
What usually goes wrong when you sell wheels online.
In the words sellers use on the first call.
“Customers return wheels that do not sit right on the hub”
The centre bore was wrong. The listing should state it in millimetres and ask for the car's year, with a hub ring in the offer where one is needed.
“Buyers cannot judge a design from a catalogue image”
A photograph on a real car in daylight, from the side and the front, tells more than a white-background render. Show three popular models.
“We sell the wheels and the tyre dealer sells the fitting”
The buyer wants one price and one appointment. A bundle with tyres, valves, balancing and fitting at a named centre makes the sale simpler.
“People worry that copy wheels will crack”
They have heard stories. The page should state who made the wheel, what the maker says about its testing and warranty, and leave claims about strength to the maker.
The scope
The work we would propose for wheels.
Measured on purchases and, for trade buyers, qualified enquiries, quotation requests and repeat orders. Anything here that needs a platform or tool we have not used with you is confirmed in the audit before it goes in the scope.
- Specification pages by vehiclePages for each wheel with diameter, width, bolt pattern, offset, centre bore and the cars it fits, with the numbers written the way buyers search for them.
- A preview on the buyer's carA simple preview, or a gallery by model and colour, showing the wheel on the car. Whether a preview tool suits your store is decided in the audit.
- Fitment confirmationA form asking for the car, year and current size, with a person confirming the fit by WhatsApp before dispatch.
- Package with tyres and fittingWheels, tyres and fitting offered as one fitted set at a named centre, with one price and one booking.
- Owner communities and creatorsOwners of a specific car show what they fitted and how it looks after a few months, in their own words.
What we do
What you get for wheels.
Each deliverable and what it is there to change.
A fitment sheet for each wheel
Diameter, width, bolt pattern, offset, centre bore and the cars it suits. The packing desk uses it to confirm a wheel before it leaves.
A model-by-model photograph gallery
Each popular wheel on three or four cars. It gives the buyer the picture they need to decide.
A fitted-package page
Wheel, tyre, valve, balance and fitting in one price. It answers where to get it fitted.
A returns-reason log
Each return recorded by cause: fit, finish or damage in transit. It shows what to fix on the listing.
How the result is measured
- Purchases and conversion rate
- Customer acquisition cost
- Average order value, with tyres and fitting
- Repeat purchase rate
- Return rate
- Returns for fit by listing
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

Selling in India and abroad
Selling wheels beyond your own market.
Where you sell decides sizes, units, seasons and returns. We work from Bengaluru and have no overseas office, so for a new country we start from your own sales and the platforms you already use.
Specifications are the same, names are not
Bolt patterns and offsets are written in a common way, but market names for the same car differ. An overseas page lists the car as that market knows it.
Rules on wheel changes
Countries differ on what wheel and tyre changes are allowed on a registered vehicle. That is for the buyer's importer and your adviser to confirm.

Why us
Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.
Marketing and sales, as one job
Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.
The person on the first call does the work
No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.
A baseline before anything starts
Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.
The fee in writing, split three ways
Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.
No guarantees we cannot keep
The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.
One office, and we say so
Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.
