Show the learner what they can do after your course, and who teaches it.

A graduate sits through a demo class on Saturday, nods at the trainer and goes home. The counsellor means to call on Monday and spends Monday on admissions paperwork. By Wednesday the choice is being made without you.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph

Computer and professional skills institutes teach office software, Tally, programming, data, AI and digital marketing to students, graduates and working people, in classrooms or live online. GullySales looks at what a learner can see before the first class, what the course page says they will be able to do, and who follows up after a demo.

Six trades sit here. Computer institutes teach typing, MS Office and diploma courses to first-time learners and their parents. Tally and accounting institutes train commerce students and clerks on software and GST. Software, data science and AI institutes train graduates and working people changing roles. Digital marketing institutes teach students and business owners. What they share is a syllabus that goes out of date, a cheaper or free route to the same topic, and a question every buyer asks about what the course leads to.

6 kinds of business

Each kind of business in computer & professional skills training sells a little differently.

Open the page closest to yours for how its buyers choose and what we would fix first.

Computer training institutes

First-time learners and parents from the neighbourhood weigh nearness and a lab they can walk into above advanced content, and a first visit ends with a promise to return with a parent.

Software training institutes

Graduates choose by the first job they hope for. Demo attendees who never reply need a plan, and a placement page that promises too much costs trust, so trainers and syllabus must be shown plainly.

Data science training institutes

This is a costlier programme chosen after months of research. Webinar registrations need a long follow-up, and the course pages must say what a learner can do afterwards.

AI training institutes

Learners already watch free material, so the sale rests on structure, live practice and a trainer who can answer questions. Course content dates quickly and must stay current.

Digital marketing institutes

The institute is judged on its own marketing before anything else. Its search listing, social pages and live projects show a buyer whether the teaching works.

Tally and accounting institutes

Commerce students and working clerks want a job-ready skill, and parents ask whether the course leads to a job. Software versions and GST topics change, so courses must look current.

What they share

What usually goes wrong across computer & professional skills training.

Whichever of these you run, you will probably recognise most of them.

  • “Everyone attends the demo and few are called back”

A demo class, webinar or trial fills the seats. The counsellor holds the sign-in sheet and a full week, so the follow-up is a call to the first few names.

  • “Our syllabus moves and our pages do not”

A new Tally release, a GST change, a new coding tool or a new AI tool arrives, the class is updated and the website still lists last year's topics. A learner comparing pages reads us as out of date.

  • “Nobody can answer what the course leads to”

Parents ask about a job, graduates ask about placement, clerks ask whether the certificate is valid. We promise too much or go quiet, and neither lets the buyer check anything.

  • “A cheaper or free route to the same topic is one search away”

A free video series, an online platform or a cheaper institute nearby covers part of what we teach. The fee conversation starts from that comparison.

  • “Our course pages list topics, not trainers or outcomes”

Tool names and hours are listed. Who teaches, what a learner builds, files or posts by the end, and what the first day looks like are missing.

  • “Batch timings follow the trainers' day”

Learners fit classes around a job, college or school. When the batch times suit the trainers, the learner who wanted to join cannot attend and the batch starts with uneven numbers.

Where to start

What to fix first in computer & professional skills training.

In the order we would look at them. Your own enquiry records may change the order, and we would say so.

  • Put every demo and webinar attendee in one record with name, number and the one thing they asked, then call each with a specific batch date and fee plan.
  • Date every course page with the software version or syllabus it covers, and update the page whenever the course content changes.
  • For each course write what the learner can do at the end, as tasks: the books kept in Tally, the programme written, the campaign run. Say plainly what placement help you give, and do not promise a job.
  • Name the trainers with the work they have done, and show a sample session or a day-one outline.
  • Publish the fee, the instalment plan and what is included, so the comparison with the cheaper option is made on facts.
  • State which batches meet in the evening or at weekends, because working learners look for that first.

FAQ

Questions about computer & professional skills training.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we advertise placement?
Only what you can document, and only with each learner's consent for names or companies. Rules on advertising in education differ by state and by body, so check with your own adviser. A page that says what the course covers and what help you give is easier to defend than a promise.
How do we compete with free YouTube courses?
Show what a video does not give: a fixed schedule, a trainer who answers, work that is marked and a person who calls when a learner stops coming. Say these on the course page and again on the fee call.
How often should course pages be updated?
Whenever the syllabus changes: a new Tally release, a GST change, a new tool. Put the date and the software version on the page so a learner can see it is current.
Is a webinar or demo class worth running?
Yes, wherever a learner wants to see the trainer before paying. It pays only if every attendee gets a dated next step. Note what each person asked during the session and call with that.
What do we say when a parent asks whether the course will get a job?
Say what the learner will be able to do, what help with interviews or introductions you give, and that being hired depends on the learner and the employer. Do not promise a job.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on what is being changed and how many of the people who matter see it. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever the work touches, such as your profiles, your website or your accounts, and time with the people who can answer our questions.
