Energy management and audit companies · Search engine optimisation

Rank for the audit a plant head searches after a bad bill, not for energy saving tips.

Search engine optimisation (SEO) for an energy audit company means appearing when a buyer types the job: energy audit for a factory, power factor penalty, ISO 50001 consultant, energy audit for a hospital. GullySales builds a page for each audit type, building category and standard you work on, and follows search enquiries through to signed audits.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For energy management and audit companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Tips pages bring students and households”

How to save electricity at home ranks easily and fills the form with college project requests and rooftop quotes, while the plant head who needs a detailed audit never sees you.

  • “A single services page buries every service”

A buyer who needs a power quality survey lands on a list of services with no instruments, no scope and no sample, and goes back to the results.

  • “Exam and certification words attract job seekers”

Ranking for energy auditor exam and course searches brings candidates, and the contact form fills with people who want a job, not an audit.

What we do

What we deliver for energy management and audit companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. One page for each kind of audit

Detailed industrial audit, building audit, thermography, power factor and demand study, ISO 50001 support and savings verification, each naming the scope, the instruments, the standard and the report a client receives.

Result: A buyer searching for one job lands on that job.

  2. Pages for the terms on a bill

Plain pages on maximum demand, power factor penalty, time-of-day charges and capacitor banks, written for your state's DISCOM and checked against its current tariff order.

Result: A plant head reading his own bill finds your explanation first.

  3. Sector pages for the plants that need one

Separate pages for hospitals, hotels, cold storage, plastics, foundries and textile units, each describing the loads that matter in that kind of plant and what an audit measures there.

Result: An engineer finds a firm that knows his kind of plant.

  4. City pages only where auditors travel

A page for a city or industrial area only if your team does site audits there, written around the plants and buildings in it rather than the place name alone.

Result: Thin pages do not pull the rest of the site down.

  5. Queries sorted into plants, students and tip seekers

Search Console queries split into buyer, learner and household groups, with pages rewritten so the plant searches get the attention.

Result: Rankings bring audits instead of project requests.

  6. Organic enquiries followed to signed audits

Enquiries from search tagged by landing page in your CRM and followed through site visits to signed work, read against the baseline taken in the free audit.

Result: You can name the page that produced a signed audit.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

What a plant head or facility manager types after a bad bill, and the page that should answer it.

Energy audit for a factory in Karnataka
A service page for the detailed audit saying which loads are logged, which instruments you bring and what the report contains. Name a city or area only where your team travels to plants.
Power factor penalty on the electricity bill
A bill explainer naming the line on a DISCOM bill, what causes the penalty and what a capacitor bank does about it. Send readers to the DISCOM's own tariff order for rates.
How to reduce maximum demand charges
A page for a plant head with a kVA charge: how a load survey finds the peak, which loads can move and where a demand controller fits. Offer the study as the next step.
ISO 50001 consultant
A page saying what your consultant does, what the plant's own team must do and what only the certification body can do. Buyers searching this term are comparing consultants, so name your method.
Energy audit for a hospital or hotel
A building page covering cooling plant, hot water, lighting and backup power, written for the engineer who runs it, with a line on auditing while guests or patients are present.
Energy auditor course or exam
These searchers are not buyers. Leave the phrase off service pages and give job seekers a careers route, or the form keeps filling with applications.

Who it is for

This is written for these energy management and audit companies.

  • Energy auditors accredited for designated consumers in sectors such as textiles, cement, paper and metals
  • Energy audit and management consultancies serving MSME factories and industrial area clusters
  • Building energy auditors for hospitals, hotels, malls, IT parks and campuses
  • ISO 50001 consultants who set up and audit energy management systems
  • ESCOs that finance a retrofit and are paid from the savings
  • Energy monitoring and sub-metering companies selling meters and dashboards
  • Power quality specialists working on harmonics, capacitor banks and maximum demand
  • Green building and sustainability consultants who model energy use for rating systems

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for energy management and audit companies

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit we trace where last year's audits and projects came from, how enquiries were answered, what happened to reports after delivery and which tenders you saw late.

  2. 2

Show the method and the maths

Audit pages, a sample report and a savings sheet, so a buyer can judge the work without a visit and without anyone breaking a client's confidence.

  3. 3

    Map buyers and triggers

Target plants and buildings by sector and DISCOM, with the tariff changes, audit cycles and rating dates that start each buyer's search.

  4. 4

Follow up every enquiry and every report

Calls, WhatsApp messages and tender leads given an owner and a first reply, and each finished report followed by a debrief and a project proposal.

  5. 5

    Measure and keep what works

Site visits, audits signed, retrofits won and renewals kept, read against the baseline, with sources that produced nothing dropped.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do we need a page for every industry we have audited?
Only where the plant, the loads and the buyer differ. A foundry and a cold store need separate pages because the equipment and the person asking are different. Two sectors that share the same loads can share one.
Should the blog cover every new tariff order and government scheme?
No. Scheme pages go stale and official sites outrank you. Write about an order when you can add what a plant should check on its next bill, put a date on the page, and link to the official text.
Can we rank for searches about the PAT scheme?
Those searchers are mostly students, consultants and officials, so give the scheme one explanatory page for designated consumers that says what you do. Rule text belongs on the BEE site, and your page should link to it.
The agency that built our site holds the domain. What do we do?
Ask for the domain to be moved into your company's name with a role address as the contact, and keep the written transfer. Search Console and Analytics should also sit in accounts you own, with the agency added as a user.
Should we offer a free audit to win the work?
Only a narrow one, such as a review of a year of bills with a power factor and demand check. A free full audit trains buyers to expect free work, and the dealers already give that away. Let the small free step lead straight into a scoped, priced proposal.
Can we describe ourselves as BEE accredited?
Only if your status is current. Accreditation of energy auditors is run by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency, and its rules and list change, so check the official list and copy the wording exactly. Procurement teams do look it up.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
