Microfinance companies · WhatsApp marketing

Use WhatsApp for what a village family actually reads: short voice and picture notes.

WhatsApp marketing for a microfinance company means the messages the company sends to group leaders, enquirers, recruits and returning borrowers, with their agreement. GullySales sets up the business number, the approved templates and the rules on what is sent, and your staff reply.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

Microfinance institutions: show a real physical business scene illustrating Members, groups and centres. Record each member inside her group and centre, so member dues and the group total are worked from identical entries and never adjusted by hand.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For microfinance companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Group leaders already run WhatsApp groups”

A leader coordinates members through a phone group. A company message that reaches the leader in the leader's language, with an officer's voice, travels further than a printed notice.

  • “A voice note is read where text is not”

Some members cannot read well. A short voice note from a known officer explaining a meeting date or a product works better than a paragraph. It must be checked and approved, like any other message.

  • “Unwanted messages cost trust”

A borrower who gets promotional messages nobody asked for will block the number and talk about it. Permission, a clear stop and a limit on how often anyone is messaged protect the relationship.

What we do

What we deliver for microfinance companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Business number and profile

A WhatsApp Business number with the company name, address and description set correctly.

Result: A recipient sees a verifiable company, not an unknown number.

  2. Approved message templates

Meeting reminders, product explanations and hiring replies in the district language, cleared by compliance.

Result: Staff send consistent, approved wording.

  3. Permission and opt-out routine

A clear way to record who agreed to receive messages and who asked to stop.

Result: Nobody is messaged against their wish.

  4. Officer reply guide

A short guide on replying to enquiries and what never goes on chat, such as loan decisions or personal financial details.

Result: Sensitive matters move to a visit or a call.

  5. Enquiry-to-record link

Chat enquiries entered into the field record with the source noted.

Result: A WhatsApp enquiry becomes a followed-up lead.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we send loan offers by WhatsApp?
Check the platform's current rules and your regulator's and adviser's view first. GullySales builds service, reminder and hiring messages, and keeps offer wording within what your compliance head clears.
Should officers use their own numbers?
A company number is safer. Personal numbers go with the officer when they leave, and the conversation history leaves too. Use the company number for anything business.
Can we share loan balances on chat?
No. Personal financial details belong in a visit, a call or your secure channels. The chat is for meeting information, general explanations and enquiries.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
