Retirement planning firms · Digital marketing

Plan search, content and employer outreach as one route to a first meeting.

Digital marketing for a retirement planning firm joins search, content, social posts and messages into one path that ends with a first conversation. GullySales plans that path with you and places the effort where your enquiries already come from.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

Last updated 18 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For retirement planning firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Channels pull in different directions”

A site written for search, a social account for brand and a WhatsApp number for clients each tell a different story. A retiree who meets all three should see one calm firm, not three styles.

  • “Employers are a digital and a human channel”

A page for HR heads, a note to a welfare officer and a talk in the room belong together. Treat the session as a marketing event with a follow-up, not as an isolated favour that nobody follows up once the room empties.

  • “Spend before trust wastes money”

Paid search for retirement planning draws clicks from people who have not decided to trust anyone. Build the pages, the checklist and the follow-up first, and add paid effort for questions that already bring enquiries.

What we do

What we deliver for retirement planning firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A one-page plan that names the route

A document showing how a stranger moves from a search or a talk to a first meeting, with each step owned by someone on the team.

Result: The team can point to the step where each enquiry arrives.

  2. A channel review from your own records

A look at where past clients and current enquiries came from, so effort goes to those routes.

Result: Effort follows the routes that already work.

  3. A shared message across channels

A short statement of what the firm does, how it is paid and who it serves, used on the site, profile and posts.

Result: Every channel says the same thing.

  4. A measure sheet

A simple record of enquiries by source, first meetings held and engagements signed, which you can read at any time.

Result: You can see which channel earns its place.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Where should a small practice start?
With a readiness page, a clean Google Business Profile and one employer session. These cost little and serve every other effort. Add more only after you can see which of them brings enquiries.
Do we need to run ads?
Not at first. When enquiries come from search, a small paid budget on the same questions can add to them. Advertising rules differ by registration, so your own adviser approves each advertisement.
How will we know it is working?
Count enquiries by source and the person who made them, first meetings held and engagements signed. Reviews, followers and clicks matter less than the number of people who sat down with the planner.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
