Banks · Video marketing

Show a customer exactly how to set up UPI in sixty seconds, not a written manual.

Video marketing for a bank means short, clear videos explaining how to use a feature, apply for a loan, or understand a scheme. A demonstration often communicates a banking process more effectively than written instructions alone. GullySales produces this from your actual app and branch processes.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What video marketing means

Video marketing is using short videos, such as a product demonstration or a customer walkthrough, to explain your business on social media, your website and Google listings. GullySales scripts, shoots and edits these videos around the questions buyers ask before they visit or call.

For banks

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Process videos reduce support calls and branch queries”

A short video demonstrating exactly how to set up UPI or check a loan status in the app answers a question directly. Otherwise it becomes a call to customer support or an unnecessary branch visit.

  • “Testimonial-style video needs to stay within compliance limits”

A video describing a customer's positive experience with a loan process can build trust, if it focuses on the process. It should avoid any implied financial outcome, staying within what a bank can appropriately claim.

  • “Regional-language video reaches an audience text content misses”

A video explaining a scheme in the local language reaches a customer who might struggle with a written explanation, particularly for less digitally confident or English-comfortable customers.

What we do

What we deliver for banks.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Short how-to feature videos

Videos demonstrating exactly how to set up UPI or check a loan status in the app, reducing avoidable support calls.

Result: A customer solves their own question instead of calling in.

  2. Process-focused testimonial videos

Customer testimonial videos focused on the loan process itself, staying within what a bank can appropriately claim.

Result: Trust builds from a real process story, not an implied outcome.

  3. Regional-language video versions

Scheme explainer videos produced in the local language for a less digitally confident or English-comfortable customer.

Result: A customer understands the scheme in the language they are comfortable in.

  4. Simple production for high-value topics

A clear screen recording or simply shot explainer prioritised for your most-asked questions, over an elaborate production.

Result: The most useful video gets made first, without waiting on a big budget.

How the result is measured

  • Views
  • Watch time
  • Enquiries traced to video

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Videos worth making

Make short branch videos that answer the questions customers bring to the counter.

Documents for a home loan file
Have a loan officer lay out the papers a salaried applicant brings, from KYC to salary slips and property papers. Pin it on the branch Google profile with a line inviting them to book the loan desk.
NRE and NRO accounts for NRI customers
A relationship manager explains the difference in plain words and what can be done from abroad. Send it on WhatsApp when a Gulf enquiry arrives after hours, with a link to book a call.
Branch manager and loan desk introduction
Introduce the branch manager and loan officer by name, filmed at the branch, with the Saturday hours on screen. Add it to the branch listing so a customer knows who they will meet.
Kisan credit card before sowing
Record the agriculture officer explaining the Kisan credit card application in the local language ahead of the sowing season. Play it in the banking hall and share it through business correspondents.
What the bank will never ask you
A staff member says plainly that the bank never asks for an OTP, PIN or password on a call. Play it on the queue screen and post it on the branch page; it builds trust without selling anything.
Compliance sign-off before anything is posted
Send each script and final cut to your compliance or central marketing team. Keep interest rates and offers out of the video unless head office has approved that exact wording.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the video marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Plan the distribution

We agree exactly where each video will live before booking a single shoot.

  2. 2

    Script and shot list

A short script or shot list is prepared so the day of filming has a clear purpose.

  3. 3

    Film on location

Filming happens at your premises, scheduled to minimise disruption to your working day.

  4. 4

    Edit for each platform

Footage is cut into the formats agreed at the planning stage, not a single version stretched to fit everywhere.

  5. 5

    Publish and track

Videos go live where planned, with views and enquiries tracked from that point.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

What kind of video should we prioritise first?
Simple how-to videos for your most-used features and most-asked questions, since these have immediate, measurable usefulness.
Do we need a large production budget?
No, a clear, well-planned screen recording or a simply shot explainer is often more effective than an elaborate, expensive production for this purpose.
Can a branch make its own videos, or does head office have to?
Most banks have a central brand and compliance team that approves anything carrying the logo. Ask them first what a branch may publish, which template to use and who signs off. A branch video that skips that step can be taken down and puts the branch in an awkward position.
Can we film customers in the banking hall?
Only with written consent, and never with passbooks, account numbers or screens in frame. Film in a quiet hour and keep other customers out of shot. If a customer agrees to speak, keep it to the service they received, never a rate or a return, and store the consent form with the file.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
