Banks · Influencer marketing

Work with a finance educator your customer already trusts, not a random creator.

Influencer marketing for a bank means working with credible personal finance educators or regional-language creators who explain money matters honestly, rather than a lifestyle influencer with no relevant expertise. GullySales identifies and works with voices appropriate to a regulated financial product.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What influencer marketing means

Influencer marketing means paying or partnering with local personalities and creators to talk about your business to their own audience. It works well where trust is built by a familiar face rather than an advert. GullySales finds creators whose audience matches your buyers and manages the brief and payment terms.

For banks

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Credibility matters more here than reach”

A modest-sized personal finance educator known for accurate, careful advice does more for a bank's credibility than a much larger lifestyle influencer with no financial background.

  • “Regional-language creators reach customers a national campaign misses”

A local-language creator explaining a Kisan credit card scheme or a small business loan reaches exactly the audience that scheme is meant for, in a way English-language content cannot.

  • “Compliance review applies to influencer content just as it does to advertising”

Any claim a creator makes about rates or terms on the bank's behalf needs the same accuracy check as an official advertisement. A customer will treat it as coming from the bank.

What we do

What we deliver for banks.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Vetted list of finance educators and creators

A shortlist of personal finance educators and regional-language creators checked for accuracy of past content, not selected on follower count.

Result: You work with a voice your customer already finds credible.

  2. Compliance review for creator content

A review step for any claim a creator makes about rates or terms, treated with the same rigour as an official advertisement.

Result: A creator's post says exactly what the bank would say itself.

  3. Regional-language creator briefs

Briefs for local-language creators explaining a scheme such as a Kisan credit card, aimed at the rural or semi-urban audience it is meant for.

Result: A scheme reaches the audience it was actually designed for.

  4. Creator content performance tracking

Enquiries and applications tracked back to a specific creator's content, reviewed alongside other channels.

Result: You know which voice is actually bringing in customers.

How the result is measured

  • Reach per creator
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries traced to a creator

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who to work with

Pick creators who explain money in plain words, then let compliance read every script.

Personal finance educators
Choose educators who explain deposits, loans or savings concepts without pushing a product. Read their last ten videos and look for any call to buy a specific financial product.
Regional-language creators
A creator who explains a recurring deposit or a gold loan in the local language reaches customers who ignore English content. Ask for a sample in that language before agreeing.
The product brief
Give the creator facts only from your approved product note: eligibility, documents and where to apply. Rates and fees change, so ask them to point viewers to the branch or website.
What is usually not allowed
Banks are generally barred from promising returns, comparing named competitors or making claims their regulator has not cleared. Check current rules with your compliance team before any script is shared.
Disclosure of paid content
Ask the creator to state clearly in the video and caption that it is paid. Do not accept 'sponsored' hidden among hashtags.
Who not to use
Skip stock-tip, trading or get-rich accounts, however large. Their audience and their claims put your bank's name next to advice you cannot control.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the influencer marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the audience needed

We define who this campaign needs to reach, which decides which creators are actually relevant.

  2. 2

    Audit potential creators

We review candidates' actual audience and past content quality, not just their numbers.

  3. 3

    Negotiate and brief

Fee, posting dates and paid-media usage are agreed in writing before filming, and the brief still leaves room for the creator's own style.

  4. 4

    Review and publish

Content is checked before going live, then published on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure results

Reach, engagement and any traceable enquiries are reported against the fee paid.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How do we choose the right creators?
Based on accuracy of their existing content and relevance to a specific customer segment, rather than follower count alone.
Who reviews what they say about our products?
We coordinate this with your compliance team before any content goes live, treating it with the same rigour as official marketing material.
Is a big creator better than a small one for a bank?
Not necessarily. A smaller creator who is known and trusted in one language or one city often gets better questions from people who can walk into your branch. A large one brings reach you cannot serve and more scrutiny of every sentence.
Who owns the video, and can the creator remove it later?
Your agreement should say. State where the bank may reuse the content, how long it may stay up, and what happens if a product or a rule changes. Include a clause that lets you ask for a correction or takedown when information goes out of date.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
