Dermatology clinics · Search engine optimisation

Rank for the treatment and the locality, not just your clinic's name.

SEO for dermatologists is the work of ranking a page for each treatment, and the clinic's Maps listing, for what a patient types about skin or hair, such as laser hair removal in Indiranagar. GullySales builds a page per treatment, fixes the technical faults keeping Google away, and reports which searches produced a booked consultation.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

Last updated 8 Nov 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For dermatology clinics

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “One page per treatment, not one dermatology services page”

A single page listing every treatment from acne to hair transplant ranks for none of them well. Acne scar treatment, chemical peels and vitiligo treatment each get their own page written for the patient's question.

  • “The doctor's qualification strengthens the page”

A treatment page naming the dermatologist's MD Dermatology qualification and years of practice ranks and converts better than an anonymous page, since patients and Google both weigh medical credibility here.

  • “The Maps result decides the clinic search”

For dermatology, the three Maps listings above the organic results take the calls and photo enquiries, so SEO work starts with the profile and reviews before the website.

  • “Result photographs need a rule before they go on a page”

A treatment page with before-and-after pictures may draw clicks and may also break your council's advertising rules. Decide with your own adviser what a page may show, and write each page so it works with no results shown.

What we do

What we deliver for dermatology clinics.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. One page built per priority treatment

Separate pages for acne scar treatment, chemical peels, vitiligo treatment and other priority treatments, each written for the patient's actual question.

Result: A patient searching for one treatment finds a page written for it.

  2. Doctor's qualification added to every treatment page

The dermatologist's MD Dermatology qualification and years of practice stated on each treatment page, not only the about page.

Result: A page carries the credential that both patients and search engines weigh.

  3. Business Profile and reviews fixed first

The Google Business Profile and review base corrected first, since the Maps result decides the clinic search before the website is reached.

Result: The clinic's first impression on Maps is fixed before anything else.

  4. Technical SEO fixes across the site

Corrections to page speed, mobile display and site structure that are keeping treatment pages out of search results.

Result: Pages stop losing visibility to avoidable technical faults.

  5. Report on rankings and enquiries by treatment

A report on search position and enquiries for each treatment page, against the baseline agreed before work started.

Result: The clinic sees which treatment page is earning its place.

  6. Rule for photographs and claims on treatment pages

A short written rule, agreed with the doctor and checked with your own adviser, on what a treatment page may show and say, applied to every page before it goes live.

Result: A page that ranks does not put the doctor's registration at risk.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

What a patient types about their skin or hair, and the page that answers it.

acne scar treatment near me
A treatment page, not the services list. Name the methods the doctor uses, say that suitability is decided after examination, and describe what the first consultation involves.
laser hair removal price in Indiranagar
A price page. Explain what the charge depends on, such as the area treated and the number of sittings, and what the consultation fee covers. Do not post offers that hint at results.
hair fall in women causes and treatment
A question page written by the doctor. Describe the tests a doctor may ask for and when to see one in person. Keep it to general information and leave out cure language.
PRP or mesotherapy for hair
A comparison page. Say in plain words how the two differ and that the doctor chooses after examining the patient. It reaches the patient who is still comparing clinics.
Dr [name] dermatologist qualification
The doctor's own page. Show the MD Dermatology qualification, the registration details and the concerns treated, so a search by name lands here and not on a directory.
skin clinic open on Sunday near me
A visit page. State the days, hours, branch address and how to send a photo on WhatsApp, and keep the same details on the Maps listing.

Who it is for

This is written for these dermatology clinics.

  • Solo dermatologist clinics
  • Multi-doctor dermatology and cosmetology centres
  • Dermatology hospitals with in-patient procedures
  • Cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology clinics
  • Hair transplant and trichology centres
  • Skin and laser clinics inside malls or commercial complexes

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • No doctor can approve the wording of each concern page, and unchecked skin content should not be published
  • Your site is too slow on a phone for new visitors to read a page, which needs fixing before new pages are written
  • You expect the clinic to rank on a stated date for a named treatment, and no one can promise that

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At an interval agreed in writing we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How long does SEO for a dermatologist take?
Treatment pages take longer to rank than the Maps listing, and longer again if the site needs repair first. The listing moves sooner because the searches already exist. After the first conversation we give you a view for your area and your competitors.
Should we prioritise medical or cosmetic treatment pages?
Start with the medical concerns that already draw searches, such as acne, pigmentation and hair fall. Cosmetic pages for anti-ageing or laser treatment take longer to rank, but bring higher-value consultations once they do.
Should the doctor write the treatment pages, or can the agency?
The doctor must approve every medical statement. The agency can draft in your consultation wording and structure the page, but you read and sign off each one before it goes live. If a line makes you uneasy, it comes out.
We have three branches. Do we need three pages for each treatment?
No. Keep one page per treatment and a separate page per branch with its own address, doctors and hours. Repeating the same treatment text across branches gives search engines three copies and the patient nothing new.
What does SEO for a dermatologist include?
A page per treatment, the doctor's own page, the Google Business Profile and reviews, technical fixes and a report of enquiries by page. Blog posts come after those, and only where a patient asks a question you can answer well.
Can we put before-and-after photographs on a treatment page?
Check the current rules with your own council and adviser first. A page that ranks well but breaks the rules on showing results puts your registration at risk. A page can rank on the doctor's qualification, a plain account of the treatment and what the consultation covers. Add images only when written advice says you may.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
