Physiotherapy clinics · Sales training

Train the desk to explain a full course, not just book a single session.

Sales training for a physiotherapy clinic covers the real conversations staff have daily: explaining why a full course matters, following up on a missed session, and answering a referral call. This differs from generic customer service training. GullySales builds this from the clinic's own patterns.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What sales training means

Sales training teaches a sales team a skill it does not yet have, such as handling a specific objection or running a proper site visit, usually through a structured session. GullySales runs these sessions around real objections and calls from your business rather than generic sales theory.

For physiotherapy clinics

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Explaining the full course is a specific, teachable skill”

Staff trained to explain why six sessions, not two, are recommended see better course completion than those who just book what is asked.

  • “Referral calls need a different tone to patient calls”

A call from a surgeon's office expects speed and clarity on availability, not the same conversation used with a patient.

  • “Training uses the clinic's own drop-off patterns”

Reviewing which point in the course patients typically stop attending teaches staff exactly where to focus re-engagement effort.

What we do

What we deliver for physiotherapy clinics.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Full-course explanation training

A session teaching staff how to explain why a complete course, not just the next session, is recommended.

Result: Patients hear a clear, confident reason for the plan, not a vague suggestion.

  2. Referral call handling training

A session on the different tone and pace a surgeon's office call needs compared with a patient call.

Result: A referral call gets the speed and clarity a surgeon's office expects.

  3. Drop-off pattern review session

A training session built from the clinic's own data on where patients typically stop attending.

Result: Staff know exactly which point in a course needs the most attention.

  4. A new-hire onboarding script

A written script and reference for the front desk's first week, covering condition packages and common questions.

Result: A new front desk hire handles calls confidently from early on.

How the result is measured

  • Skill assessment scores
  • Objection handling improvement
  • Conversion rate after training

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Situations to practise

Six conversations a physiotherapy clinic's team should practise, and what good looks like.

Why do I need so many sessions
Explain what the assessment found, what each stage of the plan does and that the physiotherapist reviews progress. Promise no outcome. Practise it without trade terms.
The pain is gone and the patient wants to stop
Explain the difference between pain relief and regained strength, then let them decide. Practise respecting the choice and noting it in the file.
A patient misses a session
Call and ask how the pain has been before offering the next slot. Practise it as concern for the patient, not for the diary.
A referral call from a surgeon or orthopaedic clinic
Note the surgeon's protocol, and with the patient's consent send a short progress note. Practise a brief, factual tone, different from a patient call.
Home visit or clinic visit
Ask about mobility, stairs and what equipment is needed. Explain what can be done at home. Practise saying plainly when a clinic visit suits the problem better.
A corporate wellness enquiry
Ask headcount, workstation types and seating. Send an outline of what you could do. Practise asking before offering, since each office has different needs.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the sales training work runs

  1. 1

    Assess current skill levels

We review the team's current strengths and gaps, by observing calls and talking to managers.

  2. 2

    Build the curriculum

Content is developed around your product, customers and sales cycle.

  3. 3

    Schedule and deliver

Sessions run on a set calendar, with practice built into each one.

  4. 4

    Check understanding

Short knowledge checks confirm what has actually stuck.

  5. 5

    Review and refresh

The curriculum is revisited periodically and refresher sessions are run for the wider team.

    • On-page and local search work
    • Link building and technical fixes

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How long before training shows results?
There is no fixed timeline. Booking conversations often improve quickly, while course completion rate takes longer and depends on patient circumstances too.
Who should be trained first?
The front desk and whoever handles doctor referral calls.
Can therapists explain a full course without sounding like a sales pitch?
Yes, if they start from the assessment. Say what was found, what the plan is and why one visit will not be enough, then let the patient decide. Practise it in the patient's own language, without clinical terms.
How do we record that a patient left before finishing?
Add one line in the patient file: finished, stopped by choice, or lost. Over time your own records show where patients drop out, and the practice cases come from those. It needs no software, only the habit.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
