Psychotherapy practices · Content marketing

Write the page that helps someone recognise their own experience.

Content marketing for a psychotherapy practice means a page per concern, such as anxiety or grief, written so a person experiencing it recognises themselves, without exaggerated claims.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

Last updated 5 Oct 2026. Rules for this trade differ by state and professional body, and they change. We describe restrictions in general terms, so check the current position with your own council or adviser before you publish anything.

For psychotherapy practices

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Concern pages outperform a general services page”

A person searching for help with a panic disorder finds a dedicated page faster than a list of therapy types.

  • “Educational content builds trust before contact”

A clear explanation of what a first session involves reduces the uncertainty that keeps many people from reaching out.

  • “No outcome claims, ever”

Content describes the approach and what to expect, never a promised result.

What we do

What we deliver for psychotherapy practices.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each concern you specialise in

A dedicated page for concerns such as anxiety, grief or couples counselling, written so a person recognises their own experience.

Result: Someone searching for help with a specific concern finds a page that speaks to it directly.

  2. What to expect in a first session

A calm, factual page describing what happens in a first session, reducing the uncertainty that keeps some people from reaching out.

Result: A hesitant reader understands the process before making contact.

  3. Approach explainer for each therapy method offered

A plain description of each method used, such as cognitive behavioural therapy, without claiming a guaranteed result.

Result: A reader understands the approach without being promised an outcome.

  4. Content review for outcome claims before publishing

Every piece of content checked to confirm it describes the approach, never a promised result, before it goes live.

Result: Nothing publishes that could read as a guarantee about a client's progress.

  5. Content report against the baseline

A report on which concern pages bring enquiries, measured against the baseline set before the work starts.

Result: You know which concern area needs another page written.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Questions buyers ask first

What a person asks themselves in private before writing to a therapist, and the page that answers it.

Is what I am feeling normal, or is this anxiety?
A concern page for each thing you treat. Describe the experience in the words people use for it, say what therapy for it involves, and state plainly that a web page is not a diagnosis.
Do I need a psychologist, a counsellor or a psychiatrist?
A short explainer on how the three differ, who in your practice does what, and when you would refer on. Give each clinician's qualification so the reader can check it.
Will my family or my office find out I came?
A privacy page. Say where records are kept, who can see them, how the bill and the WhatsApp reminder are worded, and what you never post. Have a clinician check it before it goes up.
What actually happens in the first session?
A first-session page. Say how long it runs, what you will ask, what the person need not say yet, and that they can stop or leave without deciding anything that day.
Is CBT right for me, or something else?
One plain page for each method you offer. Describe what a session looks like and who it tends to suit, and name the cases you would send elsewhere. Promise no outcome.
How do I bring my teenager, or my husband?
A page for a parent or partner writing on someone else's behalf. Explain how consent works for a minor, whether the other person must attend, and what the first message can say.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the content marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Confirm the plan

Topics and formats for the coming month are confirmed against the content strategy.

  2. 2

    Produce and review

Content is written or filmed, then reviewed by someone who knows your trade before it goes out.

  3. 3

    Publish and distribute

Finished content is published to the site and pushed through the channels your buyers actually use.

  4. 4

    Track enquiries

Enquiries are traced back to content where a direct line exists, and reported honestly where it does not.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

We report results and adjust the next topics based on what actually worked.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How clinical should this content be?
Plain and warm, avoiding jargon a worried person would have to look up.
Do we need a blog?
A few careful, well-researched articles on common concerns help more than frequent posts.
Can we publish client stories if the names are changed?
No. Even with changes, a story can be recognised by the client or someone close to them, and it reads as an outcome claim. Explain how a method works instead, and have a clinician in the practice review each piece before it goes up.
Should we write in the client's own language as well as English?
Yes for concern pages, because people describe feelings in the language they think in. Have a clinician who speaks it write or check each version, as a literal translation of a clinical word can sound cold or wrong. Start with your most-asked concern.
How do you handle marketing without using client stories?
Through the therapist, not the client. A page that explains your training, your approach and what a first session feels like does the work a testimonial does elsewhere. No identifiable client story is ever used.
Will this involve tracking individual clients?
No. Our reporting works at the level of enquiry volume and concern area, never by name, and we agree what is tracked before starting.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
