Veterinary clinics · Local SEO

Be the clinic on the map when a worried owner searches from the pavement outside.

Local SEO for a veterinary clinic is the work of appearing in the three map results for a pet owner searching near home, judged on distance, hours, listing detail and reviews. GullySales works on the profile, the branch listings and the review flow that decide which clinic gets the call.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For veterinary clinics

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The owner searches from the car, not from a desk”

A person with a limping dog types a vet near me into the phone and taps the first clinic that looks open and close. Distance from where they stand counts for more than any page on your website, so the listing has to carry everything.

  • “Open now is a filter, and a wrong hour removes you”

Maps lets a searcher filter to clinics open at that moment. A clinic whose Sunday or festival hours are missing or stale drops out of exactly the search an anxious owner runs, even if a vet is in the building.

  • “Services listed as a vet, not as a shop”

A listing that says only Veterinary clinic leaves the owner guessing whether you treat cats, birds or rabbits, or do surgery. Naming species, vaccination, sterilisation and dental care answers the question before the call and saves a wasted trip.

  • “Branches and mobile vets blur together”

A clinic with a second branch or a home-visit van often runs one profile for all of them. Maps then shows the wrong address or the wrong phone line, and the owner reaches a front desk that cannot see the animal.

What we do

What we deliver for veterinary clinics.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Hours checked against the duty roster

Regular hours, festival hours and the after-hours arrangement entered to match who is actually on duty, including whether a vet is on the premises or on call.

Result: The open-now filter shows your clinic when it is open.

  2. Services and species written into the listing

Each treatment and each animal you see, named in the services list and description in the words owners type, with exotic species stated only if a vet on your team handles them.

Result: An owner with a rabbit or a parrot can tell from the listing whether to call.

  3. One profile per branch and per mobile service

A separate, verified listing for each address, with its own phone line, photographs and area, and a home-visit service area drawn on the roads you really cover.

Result: The nearest branch is the one that appears for the owner nearby.

  4. Photographs of the clinic that reassure a first visit

The waiting area, the consulting room, the entrance and parking, taken so an owner can find the door and picture the visit. No owners or animals identified without consent.

Result: A nervous first-time visitor recognises the place on arrival.

  5. A review ask built into the end of the visit

A link on a card or sent to the owner's phone once the pet is settled and the owner is happy, with a written reply to every review, including a complaint about waiting time.

Result: Recent reviews come from owners who visited, with the clinic's replies beside them.

  6. Calls, directions and website taps read off the listing

The profile's own counts for calls, direction requests and website taps, set against a baseline taken before any change.

Result: You can see whether the listing is sending owners to the clinic.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches owners type

Owners search the problem and the street, and the listing has to answer both.

vet open now near me
Needs tonight's hours and the festival hours to be right on the listing, with the duty arrangement named, or the open-now filter drops the clinic.
emergency vet for dog near me
The description and services say that emergency care is offered and whether a vet is in the building or on call, so the owner knows what the drive will find.
cat vaccination clinic near me
Cat vaccination and deworming named in the services list, with a photograph of the separate waiting space cat owners look for.
rabbit vet near me
State on the listing which exotic species a vet on your team treats, and leave out the ones nobody on the roster handles.
vet home visit for old dog
A separate listing for the visiting service, with the roads you cover drawn as the service area and its own phone line.
pet clinic near a society or landmark name
The landmark and nearby society names written into the description, and replies to reviews that mention them, so a local searcher recognises the place.

Who it is for

This is written for these veterinary clinics.

  • Small animal clinics
  • Multi-vet veterinary hospitals
  • Mobile and home-visit vet services
  • Exotic and avian veterinary practices
  • Farm and large animal veterinary services
  • Pet grooming and wellness clinics with vet services
  • 24-hour emergency veterinary hospitals
  • Veterinary diagnostic and referral centres

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • The Business Profile belongs to a former staff member's account and the clinic cannot get back in, so recover access before any other listing work.
  • The clinic moves premises soon and the address is not final, so a listing built now would send owners to the old door.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Write down what is true

Each branch's real address, signboard name, phone, hours and owning Google account go into one record you sign off. Every later listing is copied from it.

  2. 2

    Search as your buyer does

We search each branch on a phone from points around it, in your buyers' words, and note who appears with what reviews and photos.

  3. 3

    Fix the profile first

Ownership first, then name, address, pin, phone, hours and business type. Google can suspend a profile with extra words in its name or an address that is not a real premises.

  4. 4

Build the branch pages and match the listings

Each real branch gets its own page, and the other listings are changed to agree with it. We write none for towns without a branch, because Google treats near-identical pages as doorway pages.

  5. 5

    Ask, reply and measure

We agree with each branch who asks for reviews, when and how. Results are set against the baseline recorded before work began, and the branch that is behind gets the next round.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We have a good website but the clinic is not on the map. Why?
The map result is built from the Business Profile, not from your pages. Distance, listing type, hours and reviews decide which three clinics appear, so an empty or unverified profile stays hidden whatever the website says.
Can the listing say we are open 24 hours?
Only if a vet is truly available at every hour you list. State on the profile whether the vet is on the premises or on call, so an owner does not arrive at a closed gate. Advertising rules differ by profession and state, so check with your own council or adviser.
A reviewer says we did not save their pet. How do we reply?
Reply in public, with sympathy and without discussing the case or the animal's records. Invite the owner to speak to the clinic in person. Do not argue the facts, offer anything in exchange for a changed review, or ask the owner to delete it.
Can the listing mention a vaccination offer or a discount?
Name vaccination as a service, but check any offer wording with your veterinary council before it goes live, since rules differ by state. The same text appears in the description and in posts, so one check covers both and keeps the listing within what your registration allows.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.

Your next practical step

Tell us what you are trying to grow, and we will read it before we call.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
