Veterinary clinics · Healthcare
The dog is vomiting at 10pm, and the owner rings whichever vet Maps shows open.
A pet owner searching for a vet is usually anxious and close to home. They check Google Maps, read the last few reviews and call whichever clinic answers first.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

In one paragraph
Veterinary marketing is being the clinic a pet owner finds and trusts when their dog is unwell at night. Veterinary sales turns that call into a visit, then keeps the puppy on your vaccination card for life. GullySales fixes your Maps hours, answers calls live and sends reminders for boosters and deworming.
Most of a clinic's steady income comes after that first visit. A puppy needs a course of vaccines, an anti-rabies booster every year and deworming every few months. If nobody reminds the owner, the booster happens at a pet shop or not at all.

How buyers decide
How veterinary clinics are chosen.
For a routine need, such as a vaccination, the decision is quick: whichever clinic is closest with a good rating and can book the same week. For an emergency, speed of answer matters more than anything else.
For a first-time pet owner choosing a regular vet, recommendations from a breeder, a pet shop or another owner carry real weight. How the clinic's photographs and reviews read online matters too.
Owners of exotic pets and some breeds search more carefully. A parrot or a Persian cat owner checks whether the clinic has treated that animal before booking. Not every clinic handles every species, and these owners know it.
The problem
What usually goes wrong for veterinary clinics.
What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.
“The clinic does not rank for emergency searches nearby”
An owner searching for emergency vet near me at night does not find the clinic, even though it is open. The Business Profile is incomplete or the hours are wrong.
“Calls go to voicemail during a busy morning”
A worried owner calling about a sick pet hangs up after voicemail and calls the next clinic on the list, since anxiety does not wait for a callback.
“Vaccination reminders are inconsistent”
Some owners get a reminder call, others do not, and the clinic loses repeat visits it could have kept with a simple, consistent system.
“Owners want a diagnosis on WhatsApp and never come in”
A photo of a rash arrives with a request for a medicine name. The vet replies for free, and the visit that should have followed never gets booked.
“A referral from a breeder or pet shop is never tracked”
New owners arrive through a referral relationship, but nobody records it, so it is impossible to know which relationship is actually worth keeping.
“Exotic pet owners assume we will not treat their animal”
The website never mentions experience with reptiles or birds, so an owner assumes the clinic will not take the case and calls elsewhere.
“A recommended surgery an owner is thinking over gets forgotten”
An owner told to think about a procedure goes home, and with no scheduled follow-up call, it is quietly never booked.
“Our branches show different hours online”
A search shows one branch as open when it is actually closed, and an owner arrives at a locked door with a sick pet.
What we do
What we do for veterinary clinics.
Everything included for veterinary clinics.
Google Business Profile completed and accurate
Hours, species treated and emergency availability kept correct across every listed platform, since a wrong hour turns an anxious owner away.
Live call answering routine
A checked routine for answering calls during busy hours, with a count of how many reach a person instead of voicemail.
Treatment and species pages on the website
Pages for priority treatments and species such as exotic pets, stating what a visit involves without promising a result.
Vaccination and recall reminder system
Reminders built from your patient records and sent consistently, rather than left to whichever staff member remembers.
Review request and reply routine
A simple ask sent after a good visit, and a reply drafted for any concern raised, especially about wait times or communication.
Referral tracking for breeders and pet shops
A record of which breeders and pet shops send new owners, kept so the relationship can be noticed and grown.
Appointment and reminder report
Calls answered, new patients and reminder completion reported against the baseline recorded before work started.
How the result is measured
- Maps position for vet searches nearby
- Calls answered live versus voicemail
- New reviews per month
- Enquiries that became appointments
- Vaccination reminder completion rate
- Repeat visit rate
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Breeder and pet shop referral network
Outreach and simple referral material prepared for local breeders and pet shops, who often meet a new owner before their first vet visit.
Animal shelters and rescue groups
A described, factual partnership with a local shelter or rescue, giving the clinic a genuine connection to mention rather than a promotional claim.
Residential welfare associations
A vaccination camp or a monsoon tick-check morning held inside a large apartment complex, with the clinic's number left on the pet owners' group.
Farm and livestock associations
Contact lists and outreach material prepared for local farm and livestock associations, for a clinic offering large animal visits.
Referring veterinarians and diagnostic partners
A simple information sheet on diagnostic and lab services prepared for other vets who might refer a case needing that equipment.

Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
- You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
- You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.
How it works
How the work runs for veterinary clinics
The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.
- 1
Assess
We look at your Maps ranking, how many calls reach a person versus voicemail, your reviews, and how consistent your vaccination reminders actually are.
- 2
Fix the profile and the reply
A complete, accurate Business Profile and a routine for answering calls live, particularly during busy hours and for anything that sounds urgent.
- 3
Build trust
Reviews from real owners, clear treatment pages, and photographs of the clinic and staff that reassure a first-time visitor.
- 4
Bring pet owners in
Local search, reviews and ads for emergency care or a specific treatment where you want more appointments this month.
- 5
Keep them coming back
Vaccination and wellness reminders sent consistently, and a referral ask at the moment an owner is happiest with the care given.

United States
Working with US veterinary clinics.
US pet owners decide in a neighbourhood thread as much as on Google. Someone asks Nextdoor for a vet who is patient with an anxious dog, twenty neighbours reply, and the clinic named three times keeps that client for a decade. Yelp and the Google Business Profile get checked afterwards, to confirm what the neighbour said.
The bill is the other difference. Most emergency visits are paid at the counter, sometimes through Scratchpay or CareCredit, and reimbursed later if the owner carries pet insurance. A clinic that publishes honest estimate ranges, and explains payment before the exam, loses far fewer clients at the counter. That work is ours, and it needs little of a veterinarian's time beyond a short call.
Nextdoor is where the recommendation happens
A claimed business page and a courteous reply in a neighbourhood thread reach owners who never search for a vet at all. Nobody at a busy clinic has time to watch those threads, which is the part we take on.
Estimate ranges published before the visit
An owner who has read what a dental cleaning or an after-hours exam costs is not the owner arguing at the counter. Ranges marked as illustrative, updated when your fees change, spare the front desk the worst conversation of the day.
Wellness plans keep the puppy for years
A plan covering first-year vaccines, the spay and the check-ups turns a single visit into a client. We write the plan pages, the enrolment script and the renewal reminders.
Reminder texts need consent and a registered number
Vaccine and booster reminders by text bring pets back, and US consent rules plus A2P 10DLC registration apply to the number you send from. Your attorney should confirm what your consent wording has to cover.
Pet records sit outside HIPAA
That surprises owners and staff alike, and it does not make the data free to use as you please. Client contact details still fall under state privacy law and your own agreements, so the owner list stays in your practice software and we work from exports.
Where this fits
Three pieces of sales work, in this order.
GullySales builds every engagement from three pieces of sales work. This page is not one of them, but the same three steps apply to the business behind it.
Step 1
Sales audit
Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.
Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.
Step 2
Sales process design
One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.
Start here if every salesperson sells differently.
Step 3
Sales management
A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.
Start here if the team has targets and no routine.
