Roofing contractors · WhatsApp marketing

Turn the photograph an owner sends on WhatsApp into a booked site visit.

WhatsApp marketing for a roofing contractor is how enquiries, site photographs, quotations and past-owner reminders move over the app your buyers already use. GullySales works on the business account, the first replies, the permission to message and the record behind each chat.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For roofing contractors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The roof arrives as a photograph”

The owner sends a picture of a leaking sheet or a shed plan before saying anything about budget. A reply asking for the area, the sheet type and a second photograph of the lap moves the chat towards a site visit. A reply saying "please call us" ends it.

  • “A quotation file gets buried in the thread”

A PDF dropped into a long chat disappears under the next message. A short covering note that states the scope in three lines and asks one question gets read, and the file can be found again.

  • “A personal number hides the pipeline”

Enquiries on an engineer's own phone leave with the engineer. A business account on a company phone keeps the history, labels and quick replies inside the firm, whoever is on site that day.

  • “Past owners can be messaged only with their agreement”

A pre-monsoon roof check sent to every earlier client who never agreed to hear from you risks complaints and a blocked number. Agreement noted at handover keeps the list usable. Check the platform's current rules for business messages.

What we do

What we deliver for roofing contractors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. WhatsApp Business setup

A business profile with address, hours, a catalogue of roof types, a greeting and an away message, on a number the company owns.

Result: A buyer sees a company profile instead of an unknown number.

  2. Quick replies for the first response

Short replies that ask for location, area, roof type and photographs, written in the languages your buyers use.

Result: The first reply reads the same whoever answers.

  3. Labels for each stage

Chats marked as new, visit booked, quotation sent, follow-up due and signed.

Result: You can see the state of every open chat at a glance.

  4. A covering note for quotations

A three-line message format that sits above every quotation file and names the scope and the next step.

Result: The owner reads the scope before opening the file.

  5. Consent capture and a broadcast list

A handover note or form that records agreement to receive messages, feeding a list for pre-monsoon checks.

Result: Only owners who agreed are messaged.

  6. Click-to-chat links

A link and a QR code for your pages, Google profile and site boards, each tagged with its source.

Result: Each chat shows where the owner found you.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we use the WhatsApp Business app or an API provider?
Start with the Business app while one or two people answer. Move to an API provider when several people share a number or you send approved messages in bulk. Check the platform's current rules and the provider's terms before you move.
Can we send the quotation on WhatsApp alone?
Send it with a covering note, and keep the same file and a copy of the message in your CRM. Some plant owners and builders want an email copy as well, so ask each one how they prefer to receive it.
How do we avoid being treated as spam?
Message only people who agreed, say who you are in the first line and offer a way to stop. Send something useful, such as an offer of a roof check before the rains, instead of a general promotion. Check the platform's current rules.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
