Home cleaning companies · WhatsApp marketing

Quote the sofa from the photo sent, and say what needs a visit.

Cleaning enquiries arrive on WhatsApp as four photographs and the words how much. The company that answers with a real figure and a slot gets the job, and the one that says please share your address does not. GullySales sets up the business number, a price list your staff can quote from, and the rules about what leaves the number.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For home cleaning companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The enquiry is photographs, so the reply has to be a figure”

A three-seater sofa and a two-bedroom flat can be priced from pictures. A kitchen chimney, a duplex or a flat after construction cannot, and saying so plainly builds more trust than a number you will revise on site.

  • “The customer will get the cleaner's number if you let them”

Once a household has a cleaner's personal number, the next booking never reaches you. Put the enquiry number on a business account, put the office number on the invoice, and make the rule about personal numbers part of the joining briefing.

  • “The broadcast worth sending goes out before Diwali”

Past customers are already thinking about the pre-festival clean, and a short note with the dates still open is useful to them. A general offer sent to a bought list is not, and it costs you the number.

What we do

What we deliver for home cleaning companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business account with hours and service areas set

Verified profile, the localities you cover, working hours and an away message for after them, on a number that belongs to the company.

Result: Enquiries reach the business instead of a supervisor's phone.

  2. A quoting list staff can send without calling the owner

Rates by flat size, sofa seat, mattress and carpet, with what each includes, so whoever is on the phone can answer a photograph straight away.

Result: A quote goes out in minutes rather than that evening.

  3. The line between a photo quote and a site visit, written down

Which jobs can be priced from pictures and which need somebody to look, so nobody commits to a figure that has to be raised on the doorstep.

Result: You stop arguing about the rate in the customer's hallway.

  4. A catalogue of the jobs you sell at a fixed rate

Deep clean by flat size, sofa shampoo, bathroom and kitchen packages, each with a photograph of your own work and what is included.

Result: The customer can see the offer without asking for a rate card.

  5. A consent record and a seasonal broadcast list

Customers who agreed to be contacted kept in their own list, with the pre-festival note written in advance and sent only to them.

Result: Your broadcasts go to people who want them.

  6. A rule on staff numbers and photographs

Cleaners do not hand out personal numbers, and photographs taken inside a customer's home go nowhere except the job record, with the customer's permission.

Result: Bookings stay with the company and pictures stay private.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

Settle these before staff start quoting on WhatsApp.

Consent recorded against the address
Ask at booking whether you may send the next-service reminder and a seasonal offer, and record it against the address. The customer may change the number, but the home stays.
A price list for photo quotes
List the jobs priced by size or item, such as sofa seats, bathrooms or a kitchen, and the jobs that need a visit. Staff quote only from the list and in writing.
What you say about the cleaner who is coming
Share the cleaner's name, a photograph and the verification you ran, with the cleaner's agreement. Never post an ID number in a chat.
Photographs taken inside customers' homes
Ask the customer before photographing a home. Keep documents, valuables and people out of frame, and use the picture only for that customer's job.
Reminders you start after the last chat
A booking reminder sent when the customer has not written recently may need an approved template. Check WhatsApp's current business policy and pricing before planning reminders.

Who it is for

This is written for these home cleaning companies.

  • Deep cleaning and one-time service providers
  • Recurring home maintenance cleaning companies
  • Sofa, carpet and upholstery cleaning specialists
  • Move-in and move-out cleaning services
  • Office and commercial cleaning contractors
  • Society and apartment complex cleaning contracts
  • Franchise-model cleaning companies

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You plan to send offers to a list of numbers that never asked, and you have not checked the platform's current rules.
  • Nobody can reply to a photograph the same day, and a customer who sends a sofa image would wait with no answer.
  • You have no fixed rate for a sofa or a bathroom clean, so every chat would turn into a bargaining match.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

Read the chats you already have

We read how customers write to you, which questions repeat and where a chat goes quiet. The repeated questions decide what gets automated first.

  2. 2

Sort the list and the permission

Contacts who asked to hear from you are separated from numbers that only sit in a phone book. We agree the wording new contacts will see before they say yes.

  3. 3

Choose the app or the API

One phone and a small team can stay on the ordinary app. Several people on one number, templates or a CRM link need the API through a provider, which is its own piece of setup work.

  4. 4

Write the replies and the plan

The greeting, away message, saved replies and handover rule are written in your words and approved by you. The message plan and its templates follow.

  5. 5

    Connect the record and test

Each link carries its source line and each chat lands in the CRM. We test on real phones, including a customer who asks for a person.

  6. 6

    Read the unanswered questions

A question the first reply could not answer becomes a new saved reply or a fixed handover. Stop requests are watched too, with the number's quality rating where the API is used, since both show a message plan that has gone too far.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How do we stop bargaining over WhatsApp?
Send the scope with the rate every single time. Most bargaining is a customer comparing your figure with a cheaper one that covers half the work. When the message says four staff, five hours, machine and chemicals included, the conversation moves off price.
Is a WhatsApp catalogue worth setting up for a cleaning company?
Yes, for the standard jobs with a fixed rate, because it saves your staff retyping the same list. Keep post-construction and commercial work out of it. Those need a visit, and a catalogue price you cannot hold will cost you the job at the door.
A cleaner cancelled at the last minute. What should the message say?
Tell the customer straight away, offer a replacement slot or a refund according to your terms, and say sorry once. No long excuses. Keep the chat, because it shows that you told them as soon as you knew.
A customer says something was damaged and sends a photograph. What do we do?
Acknowledge it, hand it to the owner, and ask for the job date and more photographs. Do not argue in chat. Follow your written damage policy and tell the customer what happens next.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.

Eight short steps, mostly taps. Skip anything you would rather answer on the call.
