Eco resorts · Local SEO

Put your lodge on the map for guests who search near the gate, the coast or the hills.

Local SEO for an eco resort is the work of making the Google listing, the map pin and the nearby searches describe a property that sits at the edge of a reserve or village. GullySales works on the listing, the location details and the review flow that a guest checks before booking.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For eco resorts

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The pin is wrong on the road that matters”

In remote areas a map pin can sit on a track that is closed in the rains or at a gate that is not the one used. A guest who follows it arrives late and annoyed. The pin, the entrance and the written directions have to agree.

  • “Guests read reviews for the sentence about the setting”

A traveller scans for noise, insects, bathrooms, food and whether the guide was good. Reviews that mention the naturalist or the walk carry more weight than a star count, so the review request should ask about the stay, not only the score.

  • “Phone numbers go unanswered in the forest”

A listing with a landline that rings in an office no one visits loses the call. The listing needs the WhatsApp or mobile number that the manager checks, plus honest hours for when the property is reachable.

  • “Nearby searches bring day visitors and trip planners”

People near the reserve search for a place to eat, stay or book a walk. A listing with accurate categories, photographs of the grounds and clear activities appears for them, and also for the agent comparing options.

What we do

What we deliver for eco resorts.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A verified and corrected listing

Name, address, pin, entrance, categories and hours reviewed and corrected, with the gate or access road described.

Result: The map takes a guest to the right entrance.

  2. A photograph set that shows the grounds

Rooms, kitchen, solar and water systems, the surroundings and the staff at work, chosen to answer questions a guest has.

Result: A visitor sees what the property is before writing.

  3. A review request that asks about the stay

A short note, sent by the manager on WhatsApp, that invites a guest to describe the walk, the room and the food.

Result: New reviews describe the experience.

  4. Replies to reviews that mention discomfort

A written, plain answer to comments on insects, power cuts or distance, explaining what the property does about them.

Result: Future guests see the issue handled in public.

  5. A local mentions check

The lodge's name, address and number compared across tourism pages, agent sites and directories.

Result: The same details appear everywhere a guest looks.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

We are far from any town. Does local search matter?
Yes, because guests search the nearest town, reserve or village and look for stays around it. The listing is how a lodge in a remote area appears in those searches.
Can we list activities such as safaris on the profile?
You can describe what you organise or arrange, and say who runs it. Check the platform's current rules on what can be added, and be clear about what is included and what is extra.
What if our signal is poor?
Give the listing a number the manager actually answers, and state when the property is reachable. A reply from an agent or office, with the right details, is better than a missed call.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
