Travel insurance agencies · Search engine optimisation

Write the page that answers what the embassy checklist actually asks for.

SEO for a travel insurance agency is the work of making your pages the ones a traveller finds when they search for cover that meets a visa rule. GullySales plans the pages, titles and explanations around real checklist wording, without promising any position in search.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For travel insurance agencies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Searchers copy the checklist”

Travellers paste phrases from the embassy or the consultant's list into Google. Pages titled for the destination and the requirement match the search better than a general page headed 'our insurance services'.

  • “Insurers' own sites already rank for the brand”

Searching for an insurer's name takes the traveller to the insurer. Your better ground is the question the insurer's site leaves open: which plan fits a student, a parent of seventy, a family of four.

  • “Thin pages repeat each other”

Twenty destination pages with the same paragraph and a swapped country name read as copies. Each page needs its own checklist wording, its own traveller types and its own examples of what is and is not covered.

  • “Exclusions are search terms too”

Travellers search for pre-existing conditions, adventure sports and cancellation. Honest pages on these questions bring in buyers who would otherwise leave with the wrong idea of the cover.

What we do

What we deliver for travel insurance agencies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page plan by destination and reason

A list of pages to write, each tied to a destination, a visa type or a traveller group, so no two pages compete for the same search.

Result: The plan shows one page for each search intent.

  2. Titles and headings in checklist wording

Page titles and headings rewritten with the phrases travellers copy from embassy lists.

Result: A traveller sees their own words in the search result.

  3. Cover explainer pages

Plain pages on pre-existing conditions, sports, baggage and cancellation, written from the insurer's wording and sent for its approval.

Result: Each explainer points to the policy wording it is based on.

  4. Internal links between pages

Links that move a reader from a destination page to the traveller page and the claim guide.

Result: A reader finds the next question's answer one click away.

  5. A technical check of the site

A review of page speed on a phone, mobile layout and indexing, with fixes listed in plain language.

Result: You get a written list of what was fixed and what remains.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the search engine optimisation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit and baseline

We record where the site stands today: positions, traffic, technical faults and the enquiries search currently produces. Nothing starts until this number is written down.

  2. 2

    Decide what to rank for

We map the searches your buyers use, in your words and theirs, and pick the ones worth the effort for your margin and your capacity.

  3. 3

    Fix the foundations

Technical faults first, because the cheapest gains are usually there. Then the Business Profile and directory consistency.

  4. 4

    Build the pages

A page for each thing you do, written to answer the question it is searched for, with a clear next step at the end.

  5. 5

    Publish and earn mentions

Content goes out on the calendar. Links and mentions are earned from real relationships, not bought.

  6. 6

    Measure, report, adjust

At the interval agreed at the start we report what moved and what did not, and change the plan when the numbers say so.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Will we reach the top of Google?
Nobody can promise a position. GullySales works on the pages, the wording and the site so that your pages are a fair match for what travellers type.
Can we copy an insurer's policy text onto our pages?
Quote the policy accurately and link to the insurer's document rather than rewriting its terms. Your principal insurer will want to approve how cover is described.
Do we need a blog?
Only where a traveller's question is not yet answered on your site. A few honest pages on real questions work better than a stream of posts on general travel.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
