Wellness resorts · Local SEO

Show up on the map for the guest searching for a retreat within a few hours' drive.

Local SEO for a wellness resort is how the retreat appears on the map and in nearby searches for guests deciding which place to drive or fly to. GullySales works on the Google Business Profile, the directions, the photographs and the review replies that guests read before calling.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For wellness resorts

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The guest looks for a drive, not a postcode”

A Bengaluru couple wants a stay they can reach by car on a Friday evening. The listing must say what the nearest city is, how the road is, and where the gate is, because maps send some guests to the wrong turn.

  • “Photographs on the profile are the first tour”

The guest scrolls images before reading a word. Rooms, meal trays, the yoga hall and the treatment room answer more than a long description, and photographs of other guests have no place there.

  • “Reviews are read for the first night and the food”

Guests look for comments on arrival, cleanliness, the diet and the staff. A review that complains about the food and gets no reply tells the next guest that nobody reads them.

  • “Category choice shapes who finds you”

A listing marked as a hotel draws room-only searches. A listing that names the retreat and its programmes draws the guest who wants a stay with structure.

What we do

What we deliver for wellness resorts.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A profile set up for the retreat

Business category, description, services and attributes chosen to match what the resort is.

Result: The listing describes a retreat and not a generic hotel.

  2. Directions that work on the last stretch

A written route from the nearest city and airport, with a pin set at the actual gate.

Result: Arriving guests land at the right entrance.

  3. A photograph plan

Rooms, meals, halls, grounds and treatment rooms, shot in daylight, without guests visible.

Result: The profile shows an ordinary day without privacy problems.

  4. Review replies in one voice

Written replies to every review, calm on complaints about food or a delay, and without health claims.

Result: Each review has an answer from a named person.

  5. A call and WhatsApp route that is answered

The profile linked to the number the coordinator actually picks up.

Result: The tap on Call reaches someone who knows the programmes.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the local SEO work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are recorded, and the branches falling behind come first in the next round of work.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Our resort is outside any town. Does Local SEO still apply?
It does. Guests search near the city they live in, and the profile can name the nearest town, the drive and the airport so the listing is found by people planning the trip.
Can we ask guests for reviews at check-out?
You can ask, politely, with a link ready. Do not pay for reviews or offer rewards. Check the platform's current rules, and keep medical details out of the replies.
Should the spa and the resort have separate listings?
Only when the spa has its own name, hours and phone line. Check the platform's current rules, and keep the names consistent with your website.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
