Cafes and coffee shops · Social media

Post the reel that fills the counter, not just the pretty flat lay.

Social media for a cafe means Instagram and short video content that shows the counter, the drink being made and the actual atmosphere. It is timed to drive a visit this week, not just collect likes. GullySales shoots at the counter and keeps the week's posts going out on time.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For cafes and coffee shops

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A short video of the drink being made outperforms a still photo”

Watching a pour or a latte art moment holds attention longer and gets shared more than a plated shot, especially on reels.

  • “Stories work for the slow-hour push, the feed for the brand”

A story posted at 2pm about a same-day offer reaches people nearby right when the cafe needs footfall, differently from a polished feed post.

  • “A regular's own photograph is free content worth asking for”

A customer's own photograph, reshared with credit, reads as more trustworthy to their followers than the cafe's own marketing.

What we do

What we deliver for cafes and coffee shops.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Reels and posts calendar

A written schedule mixing product videos, slow-hour offers and behind-the-counter content, posted four to five times a week.

Result: The feed gives a reason to visit on any day someone checks it.

  2. Drink-making short video series

Short reels of a pour or a latte art moment, shot and edited for the feed.

Result: A scroll stops on the cafe instead of passing it by.

  3. Same-day slow-hour story format

A story format built for posting a same-day offer during the specific slow window that needs customers.

Result: Someone nearby right now sees a reason to walk in today.

  4. Customer photo reshare routine

A routine for finding and crediting a customer's own good photograph of the cafe.

Result: A customer's own post does the convincing for their followers.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Platform for this buyer

Where a neighbourhood decides on a cafe, and what a cafe should post in each place.

Google Business Profile posts and photos
Show the menu board, the seating, power sockets and Wi-Fi for laptop people, and the hours. Someone nearby deciding where to sit reads this first. The action wanted is a request for directions.
Instagram stories for evenings and events
Post the open mic, board game night or book club the same afternoon, with the start time and the number of seats. The action is to reply on the story to reserve a table.
WhatsApp status and broadcast for regulars
Tell regulars about a seasonal drink, a new roast or a quiet-hour corner. Send only to people who gave their number for this. The action is to reply with the time they will arrive.
Local food and community pages
Invite a page that covers your area to visit, with the menu and a rule that they say what they liked, not what you want said. The action is to visit this weekend.
What not to post
A customer's face or laptop screen, a menu price that has changed, a reel using a song the platform does not allow for business accounts, or a staff member's personal account details.

Who it is for

This is written for these cafes and coffee shops.

  • Independent single-outlet cafes
  • Specialty coffee roasters with a cafe
  • Cafes inside co-working spaces
  • Bakery cafes
  • Cafe chains opening new outlets
  • Cloud kitchen and delivery-only cafes
  • Cafes attached to bookstores or art spaces
  • Late-night and student-area cafes

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the social media work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your audience and platforms

We identify which platforms your specific buyers actually use and what kind of content they respond to.

  2. 2

    Audit current presence

We review existing pages, past content performance and any gaps in consistency.

  3. 3

    Build the content calendar

A plan is created, balancing genuine value with occasional direct offers.

  4. 4

    Implement and post

Content is created and published consistently on the agreed schedule.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiries alongside engagement and adjust the content mix based on what actually performs.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How often should a cafe post?
Four to five times a week across posts and stories, mixing product content with the slow-hour offers.
Do we need a professional photographer regularly?
A proper shoot every few months for core menu items, supplemented by phone content for daily posts, works well for most cafes.
Can we use trending songs in our reels?
Business accounts often have a smaller music library than personal ones, and using a song outside it can get a reel muted or removed. Check the platform's current rules for business use, and pick audio from the library it gives you.
We have two outlets. One account or two?
Start with one account and tag each outlet in the caption, if the menu and the crowd are alike. Give an outlet its own account when its neighbourhood, hours or offers differ and a named person can answer its messages. Each outlet needs its own Google Business Profile either way.
How soon would we see more customers?
Fixing reply time and the Business Profile shows within weeks. Building enough reviews and photographs to rank for coffee near a busy locality takes a few months.
Do we need to advertise?
Most cafes benefit first from the profile and a faster reply, which cost nothing in media. Ads make sense for a launch or a specific slow window you want filled.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
