Industrial automation companies · Branding

Be known for a kind of line, not for six brand logos.

Branding for an integrator is deciding which applications and industries you want to be known for, then saying it the same way on the site, the proposal and the exhibition stall. GullySales writes that position within your partner brands' naming rules.

A sign-painter's bench: a shop sign on a low easel lettered as far as its last character, which is still only pencilled in, a mahl stick laid across the work, open tins of paint on the floor and a finished sign hanging from its iron bracket above

What branding means

Branding is what a customer remembers about your business beyond the product, including your name, colours, tone of voice and what you are known for locally. GullySales sets or corrects this once and applies it consistently across your website, signage and adverts so the business looks like one company everywhere.

For industrial automation companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Full range automation solutions says nothing

Every integrator writes it, and a plant head picks the one known for his kind of line.

  • A brand's logo cannot be your identity

Partner rules limit how a controller brand may be shown, and a logo wall makes you look like a reseller anyway.

  • The company name reads like a trading firm

Names built from initials and the word systems tell an engineer nothing about what you actually commission.

What we do

What we deliver for industrial automation companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A written choice of applications and industries

The lines, the industries and the project sizes you want more of, and the work you will decline, agreed in one session.

Result: Your engineers stop being spread across everything.

  2. One sentence an engineer can repeat

A plain line describing what you do best, short enough to say at a stall and to print on a proposal cover.

Result: A recommendation reaches the next plant intact.

  3. Partner brand rules applied before publishing

How each controller brand may be named and shown on your site, stall and proposals, read and followed rather than guessed.

Result: Nobody gets a letter from the brand's channel team.

  4. Proposal, site and stall carrying one position

The same words and the same application list on the website, the techno-commercial proposal and the exhibition panel.

Result: A plant hears the same company in three places.

  5. A capability document for vendor registration

Company profile, applications, capacity and certifications in the form large plants ask for when they register a supplier.

Result: Registration stops being written from scratch each time.

  6. What the engineers say when asked what you do

One answer for the founder, the sales engineer and the commissioning team, whether at a plant or a show.

Result: A customer hears one company, not three.

How the result is measured

  • Recognition in customer feedback
  • Consistency across channels
  • Repeat enquiries by name

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for industrial automation companies

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where your orders came from in the last two years, how many live quotes are waiting in purchase, and how your website and proposals describe the work.

  2. 2

    Pick the accounts

A named list of plants by industry and region where your past applications fit, with the engineer, plant head and purchase contact for each.

  3. 3

    Build the proof

Application pages and anonymised case notes for each kind of line you have automated, with before and after in plain engineering terms.

  4. 4

    Bring enquiries in

Search for problem-led queries, LinkedIn outreach to plant engineers, OEM distributor referrals and trade show follow-up handled as one pipeline.

  5. 5

    Close and keep

A quote follow-up schedule through technical and commercial rounds, and an AMC and upgrade routine for every commissioned line.

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Will specialising cost us the other work?
Rarely. Plants outside the specialism still ring, and the ones inside it shortlist you without a second thought.
Can we market ourselves as a channel partner?
Yes, within the brand's rules on logos and wording, which we read and check before anything goes live.
Does digital marketing work for automation projects?
Yes, when it is aimed at the engineer's problem rather than your brand list. Plant engineers search for specific upgrades and read application notes before calling, and LinkedIn reaches the plant head who approves the budget.
Should we stay on IndiaMART?
Usually yes, for spares and small orders, but with a qualification step so the sales engineer does not spend the day on one-drive buyers. We set up the questions and routing so project enquiries reach the right person first.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
