Electroplating and surface finishing units · Email marketing

Write to buyers who asked to hear from you, and tell them what the line can take.

Email marketing for an electroplating unit means sending useful notes to purchase and quality people who have enquired, sent a sample or asked for a quote. GullySales builds a clean list from your own enquiries, sets up a proper sender, and writes short mails about finishes and capacity.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For electroplating and surface finishing units

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The list is a stack of visiting cards”

Names sit in drawers and on phones, with no record of who asked to be contacted. Mailing them all is a risk and a waste.

  • “Every mail is the same offer”

A purchase head who buys zinc is sent a note about hard chrome. He stops opening your mail.

  • “Nobody reads replies”

Mails go out from a no-reply address. A buyer who answers is ignored, and the mail loses its point.

What we do

What we deliver for electroplating and surface finishing units.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A consented list built from your own enquiries

A cleaned list of buyers who enquired, sent samples or placed lots, with the source and the finish recorded for each.

Result: You write to people who know your name.

  2. Segments by finish and industry

Zinc buyers, hard chrome buyers and anodising buyers on separate lists, so each mail is relevant to the reader.

Result: A buyer receives mail about what he plates.

  3. A sender set-up on your own domain

A proper email address on the company's domain, set up so mails reach the inbox and replies go to a person.

Result: A reply from a buyer reaches someone who can act.

  4. Short capacity notes

Notes that tell buyers what the line can take, such as a new tank size or a finish added, with a single line asking for a drawing.

Result: Buyers learn what you can now take.

  5. A reply routine

A named person who reads and answers every reply and records it in the enquiry record.

Result: A mail turns into a conversation.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

Set these up before the first mail goes to a purchase head.

Email for a B2B unit is simple, but the groundwork decides whether the mail reaches an inbox or a spam folder.

Where each address came from
Use only buyers who enquired, sent a sample or gave you their card and agreed to hear from you. Write the source against each name. Do not use a bought list.
Sender identity on your own domain
Send from a company address, not a free mail account. Ask your web person to set up the domain checks that mail providers look for, so your mail does not go to spam.
A working unsubscribe
Add a clear way to stop mail in every message and act on it the same day. A purchase head who cannot leave will mark you as spam, which hurts all your mail.
Segments by finish and industry
Keep zinc, hard chrome and anodising buyers on separate lists. Add the industry, such as auto or electrical, so each note speaks of parts the reader makes.
A reply path to a real person
Name one person who reads replies and logs them in the enquiry record. Check that the reply address is real before you send.
Data protection and consent
India's data protection law applies to personal data of buyers. Keep consent records and take advice from your own legal adviser on what notice to give.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the email marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your list

We review who is on the list, how they got there, and how long it has been since they last heard from you.

  2. 2

    Audit past sends

We check open and click rates from past emails to see what has and has not worked.

  3. 3

    Segment and plan

The list is split into meaningful groups and a sending calendar is agreed.

  4. 4

    Implement content and automation

Emails are written, scheduled and, where useful, set to trigger automatically based on behaviour.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track performance and adjust subject lines, timing and content based on what the list responds to.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we buy an email list of manufacturers?
Do not. Bought lists carry people who never heard of you, they raise complaints and they harm your sender name. A list built from your own enquiries and visits is smaller and works better.
Is a newsletter better than a one-to-one mail?
For a plating unit, a short personal note to a buyer who sent a sample works better than a general newsletter. Use the newsletter for capacity updates to the full list.
Why do our mails land in spam?
The usual reasons are a free mail address, no domain checks, a bought list or many images. Fix the sender set-up first, then send fewer, plainer mails to people who know you.
What should the first mail to a past buyer say?
Say who you are, name the part or lot you plated for him and ask whether he has new work. One line, one question. Do not attach a brochure.
Do plating units need marketing, or only good quality?
Good quality keeps a customer. It does not bring a new one while a buyer searches and cannot find you. A plater who is easy to find and quick to reply gets the sample lot where quality gets judged.
Can you write for platers who do many finishes?
Yes. We write a page for each finish, because a buyer looking for hard chrome does not want to read about zinc. Each page names only what that line can do.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
