Electroplating and surface finishing units · Lead generation

Know where every plating enquiry came from, and reply to each as a buyer's drawing.

Lead generation for an electroplating unit means bringing in enquiries from purchase heads who have a part to plate, and recording the source of each. GullySales sets up the sources that work for platers, from IndiaMART to nearby factories, and makes sure each drawing reaches a person who replies.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For electroplating and surface finishing units

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Enquiries live on one person's phone”

A drawing sent to the owner's personal number is seen by one person. If he is on the shop floor, it waits.

  • “Marketplace leads are replied to late”

An IndiaMART enquiry reaches several platers at once. The unit that replies first with a question about the part is the one that gets the sample.

  • “Walk-in and referral work is never counted”

A tool room sends a customer over a phone call. Nobody writes it down, so nobody knows referrals are the best source.

What we do

What we deliver for electroplating and surface finishing units.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Enquiry sources, each with a named person for each

Calls, WhatsApp drawings, IndiaMART, JustDial, referrals, vendor development and walk-ins, each with a person who replies and a way to record it.

Result: No enquiry arrives without somebody responsible.

  2. A shared WhatsApp number for drawings

A business number with a set reply asking for the part name, the finish, the base material and the quantity, answered by a named person.

Result: A drawing is acknowledged by a person, not left in a chat.

  3. IndiaMART lead handling

A routine for opening each marketplace enquiry, asking one question about the part and recording the outcome.

Result: Marketplace leads become sample lots instead of lost clicks.

  4. A referral register for tool rooms and machine shops

A record of every shop that sent a buyer, so the relationship is known and thanked.

Result: The shops that send work become visible.

  5. A sample-lot offer for nearby manufacturers

A short call script and a one-page offer to purchase heads of factories near your gate.

Result: A cold call has something real to offer.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where enquiries come from

Record each source of plating work and reply to it in its own way.

Platers get enquiries in different ways. Decide for each source what to record and who replies.

Phone call from a purchase head
Ask the part name, the finish and the base material before anything else. Write them in the enquiry record while he is still on the line.
WhatsApp photo or drawing
Reply from the business number with questions on finish, quantity and test needs. A photo alone is not enough to quote, so ask for the drawing or a sample.
IndiaMART or JustDial enquiry
Open it, call or message the buyer with one specific question about the part and note the source. Compare the leads that become sample lots with the ones that do not.
Referral from a tool room or machine shop
Note the shop that sent him and thank that shop by phone. Referred buyers need less convincing, so keep a separate count.
Walk-in with a sample
A buyer who walks in with a part is ready to test you. Record his details, take the sample into the log and say when he will hear about it.
Vendor development request from an OEM
Reply with the proof sheet, a plant visit offer and the contact for quality. Keep the paperwork for each request in one folder.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the lead generation work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should we buy enquiry lists from a portal?
Be careful. A list of names tells you nothing about who has a part to plate. Enquiries that come from your own pages, listings and referrals are better, because the buyer chose you.
How do we handle the same buyer enquiring twice?
Match by phone number and company name before you log it. Record the second contact against the first, so one buyer is one record and your counts stay honest.
What counts as a qualified plating enquiry?
One where you know the part, the finish, the base material and a rough quantity, and where the buyer is within reach of collection. Without those four, it is still a lead to follow up but it is not yet qualified.
Do offline sources like factory visits count as leads?
Yes. Log every visit and every walk-in. Offline work is often your best source, and it vanishes from the counts if nobody writes it down.
Do plating units need marketing, or only good quality?
Good quality keeps a customer. It does not bring a new one while a buyer searches and cannot find you. A plater who is easy to find and quick to reply gets the sample lot where quality gets judged.
Can you write for platers who do many finishes?
Yes. We write a page for each finish, because a buyer looking for hard chrome does not want to read about zinc. Each page names only what that line can do.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
