Industrial repair and maintenance companies · WhatsApp marketing

Let a plant send you a photo of the fault and get a reply on the same thread.

WhatsApp marketing for an industrial repair company means using a business number to take fault photographs, confirm visits, send quotations and remind plants about service dates. It works where maintenance heads already talk. GullySales sets up the profile, templates and opt-in record so every message is permitted and answered.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

For industrial repair and maintenance companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The technician's own number is the business line”

Customers save a technician's personal mobile, so when he leaves or changes jobs, the plant's contact goes with him.

  • “Photographs arrive in a pile”

Fault photographs and nameplate images come in from many plants on one phone with no record of which machine belongs to which plant.

  • “Service reminders are sent from memory”

An AMC visit date is remembered by one person, so a missed reminder becomes a missed visit and an unhappy plant.

What we do

What we deliver for industrial repair and maintenance companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A business profile on a company number

A WhatsApp Business profile with workshop address, services, hours and a catalogue of the machines you repair.

Result: A plant saves one number that belongs to the company.

  2. Opt-in record for plant contacts

A record of who agreed to receive messages, when and for what, kept with each plant contact.

Result: Messages go only to people who agreed.

  3. Message templates for breakdown and AMC

Approved wording for visit confirmation, quotation sent, job complete and AMC due, each with the plant and machine filled in.

Result: Replies read the same whoever sends them.

  4. A shared inbox with an owner

A way for two or three staff to answer from one number, with a named person who checks for unanswered messages each morning.

Result: No fault photograph sits unread.

  5. Opt-out and handover rules

A message to stop updates and a rule on when a conversation passes from a bot or template to a person.

Result: A plant that wants fewer messages is respected.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

Set these up before a plant gets a single message from your business number.

Opt-in from the plant contact
Record the name, number, plant and the date they agreed, usually when they send the first fault photograph. Do not add numbers from a visiting card to broadcasts.
Business profile and catalogue
Fill in the workshop address, the machines you repair and your hours. List services as catalogue items so a purchase officer sees what you do without asking.
Message templates for each situation
Write visit confirmation, quote sent, job complete and AMC due messages. Check WhatsApp's current rules on templates and what the platform charges for business messages.
Who pays and who watches
Decide who owns the number, who pays any message charge and who looks at unanswered chats each day. Without an owner, the inbox fills with unread photographs.
Opt-out and a human reply path
Tell contacts how to stop messages and give them a way to reach a person. A plant that cannot reach someone will phone a rival.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Can we use WhatsApp groups with our plant customers?
Groups suit a live job with a few named people. They do not suit marketing, because one contact's reply is seen by everyone. Use one-to-one messages or templates, and check WhatsApp's current business policy.
Should technicians use their own numbers?
Better not. Use the company number for anything about a job, so the history stays with the business. A technician may still call from his phone, but the record should be on the business line.
Do we need the WhatsApp Business API?
Not at the start. The Business app is enough for one to three people replying. The API suits larger volumes, templates sent in bulk and a CRM link. Check WhatsApp's current pricing before deciding.
Can we send quotations on WhatsApp?
Yes, as a PDF with a short message. Many purchase officers still need an email copy for their records, so send both and log the date it went.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
