Rubber manufacturers · WhatsApp marketing

Answer a buyer's spec question over WhatsApp before a competitor picks up the phone.

WhatsApp marketing for a rubber manufacturer means using WhatsApp for fast, informal clarification on specifications and order status, alongside the more formal email trail larger buyers expect. GullySales sets this up to complement, not replace, your existing sales communication.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For rubber manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “WhatsApp suits quick clarification, not the full RFQ process”

A buyer asking a fast question about a tolerance or a delivery date gets a quicker answer over WhatsApp than waiting on email. That speeds along a deal already in progress.

  • “Order status updates reduce follow-up calls”

A short WhatsApp update when an order moves to production or dispatch reduces the number of buyers calling just to check status, saving your team time.

  • “Smaller domestic buyers often prefer this channel entirely”

A smaller domestic buyer placing a modest order may prefer to conduct the entire enquiry and negotiation over WhatsApp. Being responsive there matters as much as email responsiveness does for larger accounts.

What we do

What we deliver for rubber manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Fast-clarification templates for specification questions

Ready responses for quick questions about tolerance or delivery date, meant to complement rather than replace a formal email trail.

Result: A quick question gets a quick answer without slowing the deal.

  2. Order status updates sent at dispatch

A short WhatsApp update when an order moves to production or dispatch, sent without the buyer having to call and ask.

Result: Fewer buyers call just to check where their order stands.

  3. A full-conversation channel for smaller buyers

A responsive WhatsApp routine for smaller domestic buyers who prefer to handle an entire enquiry and negotiation over WhatsApp.

Result: A smaller buyer gets the same responsiveness as a larger account.

  4. Shared number so buyer history is never lost

A shared WhatsApp number used by whoever manages buyer communication, so history is not lost if one person is unavailable.

Result: A buyer's history survives a change in who answers the phone.

  5. Formal terms confirmed by email afterward

A rule that any specification or term agreed over WhatsApp is confirmed in writing by email for larger contracts.

Result: Quick exchanges do not replace the documented record a big order needs.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

What a rubber manufacturer settles before drawings and compound questions arrive on chat.

A sales number the unit owns
Register WhatsApp Business on a number held by the sales desk and printed on the quotation and the IndiaMART listing. Do not rely on a plant manager's phone for buyers who send drawings at odd hours.
Opt-in from the RFQ or the order
Ask the buyer to confirm on the RFQ reply that order status may come on WhatsApp, and record the name and date. Numbers from a trade fair card get a short permission message before any broadcast.
Catalogue by product family
List gaskets, seals, bellows, grommets, moulded parts and bonded parts, with the compounds you run, such as NBR, EPDM, silicone and neoprene, and the hardness range. Match it to the capability sheet.
Templates for status messages
A dispatch note or a sample-ready message you start yourself needs an approved template. Write them with part number, order number and date. Check WhatsApp's current business policy and pricing before planning volumes.
What is confirmed in writing
Say that compound, hardness, tolerance, quantity, price and delivery terms are repeated in the quotation or order confirmation, whatever was said in chat. Larger buyers will want the formal copy and may bar chat approvals.
Opt-out and a named owner
Every broadcast has a way to stop, and each reply names who handles that account. A buyer who asks about a drawing should hear from the person who read it, not a general number.

Who it is for

This is written for these rubber manufacturers.

  • Custom moulded rubber component manufacturers
  • Industrial gasket and seal manufacturers
  • Conveyor belt manufacturers
  • Tyre retreading material suppliers
  • Rubber-to-metal bonded parts manufacturers
  • Export-oriented OEM suppliers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Does this work for formal RFQs too?
It works well for quick clarification alongside a formal RFQ process, but larger contracts still usually need a documented email trail for the actual agreement.
Who should manage this on our side?
Whoever manages day-to-day buyer communication, using a shared number so history is not lost if that person is unavailable.
A buyer asks us on WhatsApp to switch compound to save cost. Do we agree in chat?
No. A compound change affects performance, approval and sometimes warranty. Reply that you will check and confirm in writing, test or advise on the proposed compound, and issue a revised quotation. Keep the chat and the formal record together under the part number.
Should we send price updates when natural rubber rates move?
Only to buyers who agreed, and only when a quoted price actually changes. Write it as a note on the affected quotation, with the validity date, not a general rate blast. Broadcasting rate swings to everyone teaches buyers to wait for the next one.
Do we need to advertise?
Rarely at first. A complete IndiaMART listing and product pages for each compound reach buyers who are already searching. Paid search helps later for standard parts with steady demand, such as O-rings in common sizes.
Should we list every compound we mould, like EPDM, nitrile and silicone?
Yes, each with its own page. An engineer searches for "EPDM gasket manufacturer" or "food-grade silicone moulding", not for a rubber company. Each page names the hardness range, and the tests you hold certificates for.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
