Steel rolling mills and TMT bar makers · Pay per click advertising

Pay for the search of a dealer who wants a mill, not a student who wants a weight chart.

PPC for a TMT bar maker is paid search that puts your mill in front of dealers looking for a brand to stock and builders looking for a supplier. GullySales sets up the campaigns by grade and district, blocks the weight-chart and job searches, and reports on rate requests and dealer enquiries.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend against enquiries received.

For steel rolling mills and TMT bar makers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Information searches outnumber buying searches”

People looking up the weight of a bar per metre or how to test one search the same words as a buyer. Without negatives they take much of the budget.

  • “A click from outside your freight range is wasted”

A steel buyer in a far state cannot be served at a competitive delivered rate. Set the area to the districts you can supply and review it against the orders.

  • “The dealer and the builder want different pages”

A dealer asks about terms and districts, a builder asks about grade and certificates. One landing page for both converts neither.

What we do

What we deliver for steel rolling mills and TMT bar makers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Separate campaigns for builders and dealers

One campaign for grade and supplier searches, another for dealership searches, each with its own budget, area and page.

Result: Dealer enquiries stop competing with builder enquiries.

  2. A negative keyword list for the trade

Weight chart, price per kg, job, vacancy, scrap, project report and second hand, reviewed as new search terms appear.

Result: You stop paying for searches that cannot become a dispatch.

  3. District targeting from your own dispatch record

Campaign areas drawn around the districts your lorries already reach and where a dealer exists or is wanted.

Result: Spend goes where a delivery makes sense.

  4. Landing pages for grade and for dealership

A grade page with the licence and a rate request on WhatsApp, and a dealership page with an application form.

Result: Each click lands on a page with one clear action.

  5. Call and WhatsApp tracking

Calls and messages from ads recorded against the campaign, so a rate request can be tied to the spend that brought it.

Result: Ads are judged on enquiries and orders, not clicks.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches to bid on and block

The searches a dealer or builder types when he wants steel, and the ones that cost money and bring nothing.

TMT bar manufacturer and Fe 500D supplier
Bid. A buyer who types a grade and a supplier has a requirement. Send him to the grade page, with the certificate and a button for a rate on WhatsApp.
TMT bar dealership and distributor wanted
Bid, in a campaign of its own. These are stockists or new entrants looking for a mill. Send them to a dealership form that asks district, godown and brands stocked.
TMT bar price today and rate list
Bid carefully. Many are dealers shopping for a rate, and a few are builders. Land them on a page that asks size, town and quantity and replies on WhatsApp.
TMT bar weight per metre, bend test and chart
Block. Students and site staff look these up. Add weight, chart, formula, test, pdf and meaning as negatives, and check the search terms report for similar words.
Steel plant job, vacancy and scrap
Block. Add job, vacancy, salary, scrap, second hand and project report as negatives, since these searchers will never order a bar.
Where the click lands and what counts
Count a rate request naming size, quantity and town, or a dealership form with a district and godown. Log each against its campaign and mark those that became a dispatch.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the pay per click advertising work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the total budget

We agree the full paid advertising budget available across all platforms, rather than planning each one separately.

  2. 2

    Audit current platform performance

We compare existing campaigns on a shared basis to see where the budget currently performs best and worst.

  3. 3

    Build the cross-platform plan

Campaigns are structured across platforms with a shared measurement standard from the outset.

  4. 4

    Implement and monitor

Campaigns run with budget allocated dynamically based on real-time performance.

  5. 5

    Measure and reallocate

We report performance and shift budget toward what is working, within agreed limits.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we bid on our own brand name?
Usually yes, in a small separate campaign. A dealer searching your brand name should reach your page rather than a rival's advert or a portal. Watch the cost against the enquiries it brings and stop if it brings none.
Should we use call-only adverts?
For dealers asking about terms, perhaps. For rate requests, a WhatsApp link works better because the buyer wants a written rate to forward. Do not use call-only when nobody will be at the phone in the hours the ad runs.
How do we keep job seekers out of the clicks?
Add job, vacancy, salary, recruitment, apply and walk-in as negatives from the start. Look at the search terms report for new words, and add them as they appear.
How do we know a call came from an advert?
Use a number or tracking that records calls from the ad and ask every caller where he found you. Write the answer in the enquiry record. The two should agree, and where they do not the record shows why.
Can we publish our rate on the website?
No. A steel rate changes with the market and a printed one is wrong by the afternoon. Publish the grades, sizes and a way to ask for today's rate, and answer on WhatsApp from a named person.
Does a mill need a brand if it sells only through dealers?
Yes. A brand builders ask for makes the dealer's job easier and lets you hold your rate. A mill known only by the lorry it sends competes on rate each day.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
