Textile manufacturers · Email marketing

Email the account that buys the same twill every season.

Email marketing for a textile manufacturer is mostly reorder work and development news sent to merchandisers you have met. GullySales builds the list by market and construction, keeps the first email light enough to reach an inbox, and dates every reorder reminder.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For textile manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The reorder email is the one that pays”

An account that takes the same construction every season and forgot to place it is the cheapest order in your book.

  • “An export buyer reads at a different hour”

Your morning is the end of her day, and mail sent then lands under everything that arrived while she was working.

  • “A heavy attachment on a first email never gets opened”

Mail carrying a twenty megabyte catalogue is filtered before anyone sees the fabric. A link goes through.

What we do

What we deliver for textile manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A list built by market, buyer type and construction

Merchandisers, buying houses and brands recorded with the fabric they buy and the market they sell into.

Result: An email about knits reaches knitwear buyers.

  2. A development mailer for each season

New constructions, finishes and certifications sent as the buyer's development window opens rather than after it closes.

Result: Your fabric arrives while the range is open.

  3. Reorder reminders dated per account

A note timed to each buyer's own cycle, naming the construction and the last quantity, sent before they start sourcing.

Result: A repeat order stops depending on memory.

  4. A first-contact email light enough to deliver

Short, in plain English, with a link to the fabric library instead of an attachment, sent at the buyer's working hour.

Result: The mail reaches the inbox and gets read.

  5. Domain authentication and list hygiene

Sending records set up properly, bounces cleared and consent recorded, so your quotations do not land in spam either.

Result: The mail that matters still gets delivered.

  6. Replies counted by market

Opens, replies and enquiries by market and construction, set against the baseline recorded before work starts.

Result: You see which market is worth the next trip.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

What a textile manufacturer needs in place before it emails a merchandiser or a buying house.

A buyer list from real contact
Add merchandisers and buyers you have met at a fair, sampled for or quoted to. Record the company, the market, the constructions they asked about and the date. Do not mail a bought export database.
Segments by construction and by market
Keep knits, wovens, yarn and home textile apart, and domestic buyers separate from the US, EU and Middle East. A merchandiser wants only the GSM, width and finish that fit the programme.
Specifications stated exactly
Each development mail should list composition, GSM, width, finish and minimum order. A line without these cannot be acted on.
Certificates current and attached
Keep test reports, organic and recycled content certificates and audit documents as files with dates. Quote them only while valid, and never name a certificate you do not hold.
A light first email
Send text and a link, not a large lookbook. Heavy attachments are filtered by many buying houses. Add a swatch book or a courier offer as the next step.
A sender domain set up properly
Use your company domain with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and a named merchandising contact. Overseas filters judge a new, unauthenticated domain harshly.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the email marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand your list

We review who is on the list, how they got there, and how long it has been since they last heard from you.

  2. 2

    Audit past sends

We check open and click rates from past emails to see what has and has not worked.

  3. 3

    Segment and plan

The list is split into meaningful groups and a sending calendar is agreed.

  4. 4

    Implement content and automation

Emails are written, scheduled and, where useful, set to trigger automatically based on behaviour.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track performance and adjust subject lines, timing and content based on what the list responds to.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Our emails to export buyers get no reply. Why?
Delivery, timing and length, in that order. Mail from an unauthenticated domain with a heavy attachment rarely arrives at all. Send short, at their hour, with a link, and check whether anything is landing.
Should we mail buyers from a bought database?
No. Those lists are old, the addresses bounce, and the bounces damage the domain you send quotations from. Build the list from fairs, enquiries and the buying houses you have spoken to.
Why do export buyers not answer our email?
Often the mail never reached them, or it looked like bulk mail. Check that your domain is authenticated, keep the first mail short, name the construction and the buyer's likely programme, and send from a named person. Then ask one question they can answer.
Should we send swatches before they reply?
Not to a stranger. Offer a swatch book on request, with the construction list, and send it to buyers who ask or who you have met. Unsolicited samples cost money and rarely start a conversation. Log each dispatch and the buyer's reply.
Can this work for a job-work or private label manufacturer with no brand of our own?
Yes. The pages are built around the specification and certification you produce, not a consumer brand, so the buyer searching for that fabric type finds the unit directly.
Do you help with export buyer outreach?
We build the specification pages and the outbound list for export houses and brands sourcing your fabric type. The compliance documentation and pricing stay with your export team.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
