Textile manufacturers · Pay per click advertising

Two dozen right searches a month beat a thousand retail clicks.

Paid search for a textile manufacturer buys a small number of valuable searches and turns away the retail ones. GullySales builds the campaign around constructions and certificates, filters out the buyer who wants one metre, and reports cost per sample request.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend against enquiries received.

For textile manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The valuable search happens a few dozen times a month”

One sourcing manager clicking on organic twill is worth more to you than a thousand people looking for dress material.

  • “Half the clicks want one metre for a blouse”

Retail buyers, tailoring customers and students type the same words a sourcing office does, and they cost the same per click.

  • “IndiaMART and Google bring different buyers”

The portal brings domestic traders comparing rates. Search brings the export house that already knows the construction it needs.

What we do

What we deliver for textile manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Campaigns built on constructions, not on the word fabric

Keyword sets made of counts, weaves, weights and finishes, kept well apart from the generic terms that bring everybody.

Result: You buy the searches that end in a swatch request.

  2. A negative list that removes the retail buyer

One metre, dress material, shop, wholesale market, saree, tailoring, job and course, added before launch and reviewed as new terms appear.

Result: The budget stops funding curiosity.

  3. A landing page per fabric with a swatch form

Each advert lands on the construction it promised, with a form asking quantity, end use and destination before anything is couriered.

Result: The enquiry arrives already described.

  4. Certification adverts pointed at the scope page

Separate campaigns for certified organic and tested fabric, landing on the page that carries your scope certificate and its dates.

Result: Sustainability sourcing finds proof, not claims.

  5. The IndiaMART listing rewritten by specification

Product listings restructured by construction, GSM and MOQ, because that is how buyers filter inside the portal itself.

Result: Portal enquiries start matching what you make.

  6. Spend timed to the sampling season and the fairs

Budget raised in the weeks buyers develop next season and around the fairs you attend, rather than spread evenly across twelve months.

Result: Money lands when buyers are actually sourcing.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches to bid on and block

The searches worth paying for as a textile manufacturer, and the ones to keep out.

Construction searches, such as 40s combed cotton poplin manufacturer
Bid. A buyer who names the count and weave is developing a product. Group the adverts by construction and state the GSM, width and finish you offer, so the page matches the search.
Certification searches, such as GOTS certified fabric manufacturer
Bid, only for certificates you hold. Link to the certificate and the scope it covers, and show its validity dates. A buyer checking a claim will test it.
Job work and private label searches, such as job work weaving
Bid in a separate campaign if you take this work. State your minimum run, your lead time to sample and what the buyer supplies, so the right buyers write to you.
Overseas buyer searches, such as knitted fabric supplier India
Bid as a separate campaign, with the target country set and an English page. State the markets you have exported to and the compliance documents you can supply.
Retail, yarn price and machinery searches
Block. A shopper wanting dress material, a trader checking the day's yarn price and someone looking for a second-hand loom are all outside your buying funnel.
Where the click lands
Send the click to a swatch request page for that construction. Ask the quantity per colour, the end use and the destination country, before a courier is booked.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the pay per click advertising work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the total budget

We agree the full paid advertising budget available across all platforms, rather than planning each one separately.

  2. 2

    Audit current platform performance

We compare existing campaigns on a shared basis to see where the budget currently performs best and worst.

  3. 3

    Build the cross-platform plan

Campaigns are structured across platforms with a shared measurement standard from the outset.

  4. 4

    Implement and monitor

Campaigns run with budget allocated dynamically based on real-time performance.

  5. 5

    Measure and reallocate

We report performance and shift budget toward what is working, within agreed limits.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Is Google Ads worth it when we already pay for IndiaMART?
They do different jobs. The portal brings volume and rate comparison, mostly domestic. Search brings the buyer who knows the construction and is checking who can make it. Run both only if somebody answers both inside the day.
What do we do about enquiries for one metre?
Keep them out with negative keywords and a quantity field on the form. Answering them politely costs a merchandiser an hour a day. Your minimum should be visible before anyone fills anything in.
Do we need to state our minimum order on the advert?
Yes, on the page at least, and in the advert if it fits. A buyer needing a few metres will otherwise ring and waste your sampling time. A stated minimum filters them without hurting a serious order.
Which product should the first campaign cover?
Choose the construction you make best, that you can supply steadily and that buyers search by name. A narrow first campaign gives you a clean result. Add a second product when you can tell what the first one brought.
Can this work for a job-work or private label manufacturer with no brand of our own?
Yes. The pages are built around the specification and certification you produce, not a consumer brand, so the buyer searching for that fabric type finds the unit directly.
Do you help with export buyer outreach?
We build the specification pages and the outbound list for export houses and brands sourcing your fabric type. The compliance documentation and pricing stay with your export team.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
