Textile manufacturers · Digital marketing

Reach a buying house months before their collection is developed.

Digital marketing for a textile manufacturer is a year planned against the buyer's development calendar rather than your own. GullySales sets the plan across the website, the portals, the fairs and direct outreach, and reports it in samples and trial orders.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For textile manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Your calendar belongs to the buyer's collection”

Autumn fabric is decided long before the season, so outreach in the wrong month reaches a merchandiser who has already bought.

  • “It all lives or dies in one merchandiser's inbox”

A mill's marketing rarely fails on awareness. It fails because the person answering enquiries is also running production samples.

  • “Four days at a fair produce most of the year's enquiries”

Then the visiting cards go into a drawer. The week after the fair is worth more than the stall itself.

What we do

What we deliver for textile manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A year planned against the sampling calendar

Outreach, writing and portal spend timed to when buyers develop, rather than to a calendar quarter of your own.

Result: You arrive while the range is still open.

  2. One route for portals, one for search, one for outreach

Each channel given a purpose and a budget, so the portal listing stops being the only thing anybody maintains.

Result: Three channels stop competing for one inbox.

  3. Fair preparation and the week that follows it

A stall brief, a swatch card worth keeping, and a rule that every card is entered and answered inside seven days.

Result: The fair earns out before the invoice arrives.

  4. One person named to answer enquiries by a set time

An agreed owner and a response time for swatch and quotation enquiries, instead of whoever happens to be free.

Result: Enquiries stop waiting for a quiet afternoon.

  5. A CRM carrying every account's reorder cycle

Each buyer recorded with what they took, when, and when the same construction is due to come round again.

Result: A sleeping account becomes visible.

  6. One report in samples and orders

Enquiries by construction and market, samples sent, trial orders won and repeats, all against the figures recorded before work starts.

Result: You can see what the year's marketing bought.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Where to start for mills

Describe the fabric the way a merchandiser searches, and answer every sample request.

A page for each fabric
Write pages naming construction, GSM, width, composition and minimum order, with a photograph of the swatch. Record the page behind each enquiry.
Certificates a buyer can find
Show certificates such as GOTS or OEKO-TEX with the validity dates and the scope each covers. Check them against the originals when they renew.
A sample log with one owner
Name one person for sample requests, and record request date, dispatch date and feedback. Note which fabrics turn into trial orders.
IndiaMART and portal listings
Update each listing with real specifications and a recent photograph. Log enquiries by portal and which led to a swatch request.
A trade fair contact sheet
Type every card from a fair into the sample log with what they asked about, and write to them with the matching swatch.
What to leave until later
Consumer social media and general paid ads can wait. Your buyers are merchandisers, buying houses and brands.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the digital marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should our merchandiser run this?
She should own the replies, because she knows the construction. Somebody else has to own the outreach and the portal, or both slide during a shipment week. The numbers recorded before work starts show which part is actually breaking.
We sell only through agents. Does any of this matter?
Yes, because buyers check the mill before they trust the agent. A site with your constructions and certificates makes the agent's job easier. It also shows you when an agent has quietly stopped working.
Should we put prices on the website?
Rates change with yarn, so show the specification and minimum order, and ask for quantity and delivery date to quote. Buyers who send those details are close to ordering. Track how many specification-based requests become sample orders.
How do we know if a fair or a portal gave us the buyer?
Ask in the first email how they found you and log the answer with their type: buying house, brand or trader. Over a season the count shows which source brings serious buyers and which brings only swatch collectors.
Can this work for a job-work or private label manufacturer with no brand of our own?
Yes. The pages are built around the specification and certification you produce, not a consumer brand, so the buyer searching for that fabric type finds the unit directly.
Do you help with export buyer outreach?
We build the specification pages and the outbound list for export houses and brands sourcing your fabric type. The compliance documentation and pricing stay with your export team.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
