Textile manufacturers · WhatsApp marketing

A shade photographed on a phone screen is not a shade anybody can approve.

WhatsApp is where a merchandiser asks availability, an agent sends a buyer's requirement and a swatch photograph goes back and forth. It is fast for everything except shade, which still needs a physical sample. GullySales sets up the catalogue, the broadcast worth reading and the consent behind each number.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For textile manufacturers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Use the chat for availability, never for shade approval”

Two phones show the same cloth differently, and every mill has lost a lot to a shade approved on a screen. Say so plainly in the chat and courier the lab dip, and the buyer respects you for it.

  • “Agents live in groups, and that is where requirements appear”

A buyer's requirement is often posted in an agent group before it reaches any mill formally. Being in those groups, and answering within the hour with a specification, is how enquiries start.

  • “Broadcast at the start of a sampling season, not every morning”

A new quality with its GSM, width and price band, sent when merchandisers are building their boards, gets read. A daily photograph of the same fabric gets the number muted before the season that matters.

What we do

What we deliver for textile manufacturers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A WhatsApp Business catalogue of your qualities

Each quality loaded with its reference, GSM, width, composition and minimum order, so an enquiry is answered with an item rather than a paragraph.

Result: A buyer gets the full specification in one message.

  2. A stated position on shade and sample approval

A standard line used in every chat saying shade is approved on a physical lab dip, with the sample dispatched the same day it is asked for.

Result: Nobody approves a colour from a photograph.

  3. Broadcast lists split by product and market

Separate lists for buyers of woven, knits or home textiles and for export and domestic contacts, so each message concerns the reader.

Result: Your messages are read rather than muted.

  4. A consent record for numbers collected at fairs

A note of where each number came from, such as a trade fair or an enquiry, and what the contact agreed to receive, with a way to opt out.

Result: You are not broadcasting to a card scanned at a stall.

  5. Chat enquiries entered into the sales record

Every requirement received on WhatsApp logged with the quality, quantity and contact, instead of living in one person's phone.

Result: An enquiry survives the merchant leaving the company.

  6. One business number with a named owner

A single number the mill controls for buyers and agents, answered by a named person rather than a marketing executive's personal phone.

Result: The conversation history stays with the mill.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What must be in place first

What a textile mill settles before quality catalogues go out to merchandisers and agents.

One business number with a named owner
Register WhatsApp Business on a number held by the sales office, shown on the sample dispatch note and the quotation. Agents and merchandisers should reach the same desk after a sales manager changes.
Opt-in by market and product
Ask buyers and agents, when they request a swatch, whether they want new-quality notices on WhatsApp, and for which product, such as shirting, denim or yarn. Record the number, date and category. Fair contacts get a permission message first.
Catalogue by quality
List each quality with count or GSM, width, construction, finish and certification, with a photograph of the swatch. Say in a line that shade and handle are confirmed on a physical sample only.
Templates for sampling notices
A new-quality notice or a sample dispatch message you start yourself needs an approved template. Replies inside a buyer's open chat do not. Check WhatsApp's current business policy and pricing before planning volumes.
Groups for agents, rules for them
If agents already run groups, decide whether you join. A group shows every member's number and price talk, so use a broadcast list for notices and one-to-one chats for rates and requirements.
Stop word and a rate rule
Every broadcast has a way to stop. State that rates quoted in chat hold only with a validity date on the written quotation, since yarn and fabric rates move and an old chat should not bind you.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is reply time, a follow-up sequence, the page buyers land on or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Buyers ask us to approve shades over WhatsApp. Should we?
No. Screens differ and lighting differs, and you will carry the loss when the bulk lot is rejected. Send the photograph for a quick view if it helps, then courier the lab dip and confirm in writing that approval is against the physical sample.
Is it worth broadcasting new qualities to our whole contact list?
Only to the contacts who buy that kind of fabric. A knitwear buyer has no use for a home textile launch, and once he mutes you he will not see the knit development either. Split the lists and send less.
An agent forwards a buyer's requirement in his group, which also has our competitors. How do we reply?
Acknowledge in the group with the quality that fits, then move the conversation to a one-to-one chat for rate, quantity and sample. Do not quote rates in a group where rivals can see them. Log the requirement in your enquiry record with the agent's name.
Can we send photographs of a new fabric to buyers before we have stock?
Yes, if you say clearly that it is a development sample, with the quality details and when a swatch can be sent. Do not show a fabric as available when you cannot supply it. A buyer who orders on a photograph and gets something else is hard to win back.
Can this work for a job-work or private label manufacturer with no brand of our own?
Yes. The pages are built around the specification and certification you produce, not a consumer brand, so the buyer searching for that fabric type finds the unit directly.
Do you help with export buyer outreach?
We build the specification pages and the outbound list for export houses and brands sourcing your fabric type. The compliance documentation and pricing stay with your export team.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
