Moving companies · Email marketing

Most quotes go quiet, and almost nobody follows them up.

Email for a moving company does two jobs: keeping an unanswered estimate alive until the customer decides, and staying in front of the leasing offices and agents who send work. GullySales writes those sequences and keeps them inside your own consent and unsubscribe rules.

A post room: a wall rack of pigeonholes with sorted letters and strapped bundles, a loaded mail trolley wheeled up in front of it, and on the bench a franking machine with one envelope under the press arm, franked and cleared

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For moving companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The quote that went quiet has not booked anybody yet

A customer six weeks out from a closing is still deciding. Most movers send one estimate and never write again, which is exactly why the follow-up works.

  • The referral list is a mailing list, not a memory

Leasing agents, Realtors and move managers change jobs constantly. A short note every few months is what keeps your name on the sheet in the drawer.

  • Text and email follow different rules

Texting a customer means consent, a registered number and a record of who agreed. Your attorney decides what your company may send, and the consent step belongs in the booking form.

  • The week before the move is when email earns its keep

Parking, elevator reservations, what not to pack, what time the crew arrives. Those messages prevent the problems that turn into reviews.

What we do

What we deliver for moving companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A follow-up sequence on every estimate

Three messages over the weeks after a quote, repeating the date, the crew and what is included, and asking whether the closing has moved.

Result: Quotes stop dying after one send.

  2. Pre-move messages the week before

Parking and permit reminders, elevator bookings, what not to load, and the crew arrival window.

Result: Fewer moving days start with a surprise.

  3. A referral partner mailing list

Leasing offices, Realtors, title staff, senior move managers and storage facilities, held with what each sends you and written to on a schedule.

Result: Your name stays on the sheet in the drawer.

  4. An off-season offer to past customers

Storage, junk removal and labour-only work sent to people you have already moved, timed to the quiet months.

Result: Winter work comes from customers you already have.

  5. Consent, texting and unsubscribe handled properly

Consent captured in the booking form, a working unsubscribe, and the text registration handled with your attorney confirming what applies to you.

Result: Your follow-up does not turn into a legal problem.

  6. Reporting by sequence

Estimates followed up, replies, jobs booked from a follow-up and referrals produced, reported monthly against the baseline.

Result: You can see what the second email is worth.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these moving companies.

  • Local household movers billing by the hour
  • Long-distance carriers running their own authority
  • Van line agents
  • Office and commercial relocation specialists
  • Senior move and downsizing specialists
  • Labour-only loading and unloading crews
  • Packing, crating and specialty item movers
  • Storage and containerised storage operators
  • Junk removal and clear-out services
  • New companies running one or two trucks

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for moving companies

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit we trace last summer's leads by source. How many minutes before each was answered, what each booked job cost to win, and what happened in December.

  2. 2

    Fix the first call

A routing rule and a written first reply for shared leads, a call script that asks about stairs and parking, and a record of every enquiry.

  3. 3

    Fix the estimate

A survey booking step before any number is given, an estimate format that explains binding and non-binding, and a follow-up on every quote sent.

  4. 4

    Buy the right leads

Local Services Ads, search, and the review profile built up, with marketplace spend judged on cost per booked job rather than on lead count.

  5. 5

    Fill the winter

Commercial, senior and storage work pushed in the off months, and the apartment, Realtor and relocation relationships kept warm all year.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

How many times should we chase an estimate?
Three over about three weeks, then stop unless the customer replies. Moving dates slip constantly, so one of those messages should simply ask whether the date has changed. That question books more jobs than a discount.
Do leasing agents actually read email?
The ones already using you do, especially if it is short and useful. A note about your summer availability or a resident offer gets forwarded. A monthly newsletter about your company does not, and it costs you the relationship.
Should we keep buying shared leads?
Only if somebody can be first to the phone. The marketplace sells that form to several movers, and speed is the only edge available on it. We measure cost per booked job by source and let the number decide, which often moves budget into Local Services Ads and reviews instead.
Can you run our Local Services Ads?
Yes, including the budget by season, the service areas and disputing the leads that were never movers. The background check and licence verification behind the Google Guaranteed badge stay between Google and your company, since that is your paperwork and your authority.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
