Moving companies · Digital marketing

Spend for June in February, and for December in September.

Digital marketing for a moving company is the plan across a year where four months carry the revenue and the rest need filling. GullySales sets the seasonal budget, the channel mix and the off-season commercial push, and reports on cost per booked job.

A steam traction engine belted across a stackyard to a wooden threshing machine: the long flat belt taut between the flywheel and the drive pulley, the flywheel spinning, a straw elevator raking up off the far end, a full sack hanging on the sack spout, a corn stack half taken down behind and a water cart standing by

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For moving companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • An even monthly budget is wrong in both directions

In July it is too small to matter and in January it is money burnt. The year's spend has to be shaped like the year's demand.

  • Winter work is sold to entirely different people

Office relocation, senior downsizing and storage do not wait for good weather. Those buyers are reached through relationships and outreach, not through a household search ad.

  • Cost per lead hides everything that matters

A marketplace lead looks cheap and books one time in ten. A badge call costs more and books far better. Only cost per booked job tells them apart.

  • The crew you hired in May decides the winter plan

Keeping trained movers through the quiet months costs less than rehiring in spring. That is the real reason the off-season campaign exists.

What we do

What we deliver for moving companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A budget shaped to the season

Spend planned month by month from your own booking history, with the pre-season push starting in February rather than in May.

Result: Money arrives before the customer decides.

  2. A baseline recorded before anything changes

Leads by source, minutes to first contact, surveys, booked jobs and cost per booked job, written down at the start of the work.

Result: Every later month has something honest to be compared with.

  3. Channel mix weighed against booked jobs

Local Services Ads, search, the review profile, marketplace leads and referral relationships judged each month on what they actually booked.

Result: Budget moves on evidence rather than habit.

  4. An off-season plan for commercial and senior work

Outreach, proposals and follow-up to offices, senior communities and move managers, started while residential work is still busy.

Result: Crews keep hours in the months that usually go empty.

  5. Storage brought into the plan

The gap between a closing date and a move-in date treated as something you sell, instead of a customer handed to a self-storage chain.

Result: The gap between two dates becomes billable work.

  6. A monthly report in the owner's terms

Leads, answer time, surveys, booked jobs and cost per booked job by source, sent against the opening baseline.

Result: You can settle the advertising argument in five minutes.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these moving companies.

  • Local household movers billing by the hour
  • Long-distance carriers running their own authority
  • Van line agents
  • Office and commercial relocation specialists
  • Senior move and downsizing specialists
  • Labour-only loading and unloading crews
  • Packing, crating and specialty item movers
  • Storage and containerised storage operators
  • Junk removal and clear-out services
  • New companies running one or two trucks

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for moving companies

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit we trace last summer's leads by source. How many minutes before each was answered, what each booked job cost to win, and what happened in December.

  2. 2

    Fix the first call

A routing rule and a written first reply for shared leads, a call script that asks about stairs and parking, and a record of every enquiry.

  3. 3

    Fix the estimate

A survey booking step before any number is given, an estimate format that explains binding and non-binding, and a follow-up on every quote sent.

  4. 4

    Buy the right leads

Local Services Ads, search, and the review profile built up, with marketplace spend judged on cost per booked job rather than on lead count.

  5. 5

    Fill the winter

Commercial, senior and storage work pushed in the off months, and the apartment, Realtor and relocation relationships kept warm all year.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

We run three trucks. Is any of this worth doing?
The answer time, the survey step and the review routine are, and none of them cost media money. A three-truck company usually loses more to slow callbacks than it would gain from a bigger ad budget. Fix that first.
How do we know the plan is working in January?
By what got booked in January, not by lead counts. Compare commercial jobs, senior moves and storage against last winter. If that number moved, the off-season work paid for itself.
Should we keep buying shared leads?
Only if somebody can be first to the phone. The marketplace sells that form to several movers, and speed is the only edge available on it. We measure cost per booked job by source and let the number decide, which often moves budget into Local Services Ads and reviews instead.
Can you run our Local Services Ads?
Yes, including the budget by season, the service areas and disputing the leads that were never movers. The background check and licence verification behind the Google Guaranteed badge stay between Google and your company, since that is your paperwork and your authority.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
