Moving companies · Reputation management

Every customer reads the damage claim review before they dial.

Reputation management for a moving company is the profile a frightened customer opens first: the recent reviews, the old one-star about a broken table, and whether anybody replied. GullySales sets up the asking, the replies and the monitoring across the places movers get written about.

A statue plinth seen close: the bronze figure implied only by its feet and the hem of its drapery above the top of the frame, one face of the stone pedestal scrubbed pale and the other still grimy and carrying a scrawl of paint, with a pressure hose coiled on the steps beside a bucket, brushes and cloths

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For moving companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Fifty recent reviews beat two hundred from 2021

A customer scrolling a profile is checking whether you are still good, not whether you once were. Volume without recency reads as a company that stopped trying.

  • The damage claim review is the one that needs answering

Something gets broken on enough moves that the review is inevitable. The next reader is judging whether the claim was handled, and silence says it was not.

  • Ask the morning after, not on the truck

The crew is sweating and the customer is exhausted when the last box comes off. Relief arrives the next day, and that is when a message gets a five-star answer.

  • The foreman's name in a review is worth more than the stars

Customers writing about a named crew leader read as real people. Those are the reviews that survive a filter and convince a nervous reader.

What we do

What we deliver for moving companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A review ask timed to the morning after

A message the day after the move naming the foreman and the crew, sent from a record rather than left to whoever remembers.

Result: Reviews keep arriving after the summer ends.

  2. Replies to the old complaints still sitting on top

Written answers to the two-year-old one-stars every customer reads, stating what was done about the claim without arguing the facts.

Result: A reader sees how you handle a claim, not only that one happened.

  3. A claims process the reply can point at

The claims route written down and published, so a public answer can describe a real process rather than an apology.

Result: The complaint has an answer that means something.

  4. Monitoring across the profiles movers forget

Reviews and mentions checked on a routine, including the marketplace and directory profiles nobody in the office has logged into for years.

Result: A profile nobody watches stops being a blind spot.

  5. Crew briefing on the ask

What the foreman says on the truck and what the office sends next morning, agreed so the two do not collide.

Result: The ask happens on every completed move.

  6. Extra attention through July and August

Closer watch on reviews and replies in the months when volume slips and complaints cluster.

Result: One hard summer stops defining the profile.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these moving companies.

  • Local household movers billing by the hour
  • Long-distance carriers running their own authority
  • Van line agents
  • Office and commercial relocation specialists
  • Senior move and downsizing specialists
  • Labour-only loading and unloading crews
  • Packing, crating and specialty item movers
  • Storage and containerised storage operators
  • Junk removal and clear-out services
  • New companies running one or two trucks

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for moving companies

  1. 1

    Assess

In the free audit we trace last summer's leads by source. How many minutes before each was answered, what each booked job cost to win, and what happened in December.

  2. 2

    Fix the first call

A routing rule and a written first reply for shared leads, a call script that asks about stairs and parking, and a record of every enquiry.

  3. 3

    Fix the estimate

A survey booking step before any number is given, an estimate format that explains binding and non-binding, and a follow-up on every quote sent.

  4. 4

    Buy the right leads

Local Services Ads, search, and the review profile built up, with marketplace spend judged on cost per booked job rather than on lead count.

  5. 5

    Fill the winter

Commercial, senior and storage work pushed in the off months, and the apartment, Realtor and relocation relationships kept warm all year.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • Hours that fit your day, agreed up front

Which hours we overlap with yours is settled before any work starts, so you know when a reply is coming and when it is not.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

We have 4.6 stars. Is that good enough?
It depends what sits at the top. A 4.6 with three unanswered complaints about a final bill reads worse than a 4.4 with a reply under every one. Customers read the first five reviews, not the average.
A customer is threatening a review over a damage claim.
Settle the claim on its merits, and reply publicly if the review appears. Do not offer money for silence. The next reader is judging your process, and a clear account of how a claim was paid does more good than no review at all.
Should we keep buying shared leads?
Only if somebody can be first to the phone. The marketplace sells that form to several movers, and speed is the only edge available on it. We measure cost per booked job by source and let the number decide, which often moves budget into Local Services Ads and reviews instead.
Can you run our Local Services Ads?
Yes, including the budget by season, the service areas and disputing the leads that were never movers. The background check and licence verification behind the Google Guaranteed badge stay between Google and your company, since that is your paperwork and your authority.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
