Mutual fund distributors · Search engine optimisation

Rank for the paperwork questions, not for the fund rankings.

Search for a mutual fund distributor is narrower than it looks, because the highest-volume questions are about returns and rankings a distributor should not be answering. GullySales builds pages around the process questions you may answer, and puts a compliance read in front of everything published.

What search engine optimisation means

Search engine optimisation (SEO) is the work of getting your website to appear when a buyer searches Google for what you sell. GullySales builds pages around real search terms, fixes technical issues that block ranking, and tracks which searches actually bring enquiries.

For mutual fund distributors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The biggest keyword set in this category is closed to you

Best fund, top SIP, highest return: that is where the volume sits, and chasing it invites exactly the complaint your ARN cannot afford.

  • Paperwork searches are small and they convert

How to stop a SIP, how to change a bank mandate, what an NRI needs for KYC. Whoever types that has a folio and a problem.

  • Your own name is a search worth owning

An investor checks the ARN and then searches the name before ringing. What sits on that first page is the only impression you control.

  • The local pool here is thin, not crowded

An investor who wants a form filled and a signature collected looks for somebody in the same part of town. Very few distributors have written anything for that search.

What we do

What we deliver for mutual fund distributors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each process question investors ask

KYC, nomination, folio consolidation, stopping and restarting a mandate, and NRI paperwork, each written plainly and carrying the standard market-risk disclaimer.

Result: The searches you may answer have an answer on your site.

  2. A page built around your name and your ARN

Your registration number, qualification, how long you have practised and what a first meeting involves, so a name search finds your own words.

Result: The check a prospect runs lands on your page.

  3. A locality page for the areas you visit

The parts of the city where you actually meet investors and collect documents, named on a page instead of left to be guessed at.

Result: A nearby investor finds somebody who will travel to them.

  4. A compliance read before anything goes live

Every page checked for nomenclature, the disclaimer and anything reading as a personal recommendation, with your own compliance adviser confirming the wording.

Result: Nothing is published that puts your registration at risk.

  5. Technical faults on the site cleared

Slow pages, broken forms and missing headings found and fixed, so a page written correctly is not held back by something mechanical.

Result: The pages you wrote can actually be found.

  6. A monthly note on searches and first meetings

Which pages were found, which produced a call, and how many of those became a first meeting, set against the numbers recorded before work started.

Result: The pages that bring nobody are visible.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these mutual fund distributors.

  • Individual AMFI-registered mutual fund distributors
  • Distributor firms with a small team of relationship managers
  • Distributors who also sell insurance and fixed deposits
  • Second-generation family distribution practices
  • Distributors serving NRIs and their families in India
  • Distributors focused on business owners and treasury money
  • Sub-brokers and platform-linked distributors
  • New distributors in their first years after NISM certification

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for mutual fund distributors

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your book, SIP stops, review frequency, referral sources, reply time and what you currently publish.

  2. 2

    Set the review calendar

A schedule and CRM so every investor is reviewed on time, and a routine for market falls.

  3. 3

    Write the explanations

Plain, compliant content on fund categories, risk and goals, checked for disclaimer and nomenclature before it goes out.

  4. 4

    Bring investors in

Referral routines with investors and CAs, local search, and awareness sessions where the audience already trusts the host.

  5. 5

    Keep them invested

Money-event tracking, goal reviews and a steady, calm voice, so SIPs last and families add accounts.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we write about which scheme to buy?
That is the line we keep you behind. Advice as a service is a separately registered role, and a page recommending a scheme reads like that role. Write about categories, risk and process, and let your compliance adviser confirm the wording.
Platforms with big content teams rank above us. How do we compete?
Not on the same searches. They publish return tables and ranking lists all day, and you should not. The ground they ignore is paperwork, your locality and your own name, and all three bring people who want a person.
Can a mutual fund distributor advertise on social media?
Yes, within SEBI and AMFI rules. Content must carry the standard market-risk disclaimer, avoid promising returns, and present you as a mutual fund distributor, not an investment adviser. We check each post against those rules and leave out anything that reads like a personal recommendation.
Can we post fund returns and top fund lists?
We avoid it. Selective past performance and ranking lists invite exactly the complaints regulators watch for, and they attract investors chasing last year's winner. Education on categories and risk builds a steadier book.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
