Mutual fund distributors · Social media

Post the dull paperwork answers and the right people ring.

Social media for a distributor is narrow ground, because a post about returns or a named scheme draws exactly the attention you do not want. GullySales builds a posting plan around behaviour and process, adds an approval step, and has the falling-market message ready in advance.

A community noticeboard under a small pitched roof, posters layered four deep, with a fresh notice just pinned over the corner of an older one

What social media means

Social media is the ongoing posting your business does on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn to stay visible to customers and prospects between purchases. GullySales plans a posting calendar, writes captions and designs the images so the page looks active and answers what a visitor would ask.

For mutual fund distributors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The dull posts bring the clients you want

A note on how a mandate is changed reaches somebody with a folio and a problem. A post about a top scheme reaches somebody chasing last year.

  • Status reaches your own book, where introductions start

The people who already trust you see it without any spend. They are also the only people who will ever introduce you to anybody.

  • Association with an unregistered voice is your risk

Who a registered person may work with on investment content is a live question. The consequence lands on your ARN, so ask before agreeing to anything.

  • The week to post is the week everybody goes quiet

Markets fall, distributors stop posting, and investors are left reading strangers. That gap is the whole opportunity here.

What we do

What we deliver for mutual fund distributors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A posting plan built on process and behaviour

Topics drawn from what investors actually ask in meetings, with the disclaimer inside the template so nothing goes out without it.

Result: You publish regularly without inventing topics.

  2. A Status plan aimed at your existing book

Short updates to the people who already have your number, timed around review season, statement season and the weeks markets move.

Result: The people most likely to introduce you hear from you.

  3. An approval step before a post goes out

Each piece checked for nomenclature, disclaimer and anything reading as a recommendation, with the approval and its date recorded.

Result: Regular posting stops threatening your registration.

  4. A falling-market message written in advance

The post, the broadcast and the call script prepared and reviewed before they are needed, so a bad week takes minutes rather than an afternoon.

Result: You are visible on the day it counts.

  5. A written position on collaborations and paid promotion

What you will and will not do with third-party creators and paid posts, settled with your compliance adviser before anybody approaches you.

Result: You have an answer ready when the offer comes.

  6. A monthly count of meetings that began with a post

Which pieces were seen before somebody rang, and how many first meetings followed, against the figures taken before the work began.

Result: Posting gets judged on meetings.

How the result is measured

  • Posts published
  • Engagement rate
  • Enquiries from social profiles

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Who it is for

This is written for these mutual fund distributors.

  • Individual AMFI-registered mutual fund distributors
  • Distributor firms with a small team of relationship managers
  • Distributors who also sell insurance and fixed deposits
  • Second-generation family distribution practices
  • Distributors serving NRIs and their families in India
  • Distributors focused on business owners and treasury money
  • Sub-brokers and platform-linked distributors
  • New distributors in their first years after NISM certification

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for mutual fund distributors

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your book, SIP stops, review frequency, referral sources, reply time and what you currently publish.

  2. 2

    Set the review calendar

A schedule and CRM so every investor is reviewed on time, and a routine for market falls.

  3. 3

    Write the explanations

Plain, compliant content on fund categories, risk and goals, checked for disclaimer and nomenclature before it goes out.

  4. 4

    Bring investors in

Referral routines with investors and CAs, local search, and awareness sessions where the audience already trusts the host.

  5. 5

    Keep them invested

Money-event tracking, goal reviews and a steady, calm voice, so SIPs last and families add accounts.

Proof

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can we work with a finance content creator?
Check before you agree, because who a registered person may associate with on investment content has been a live question. The consequence lands on your registration and not theirs. Put it to your compliance adviser first.
The market fell five percent today. What do we post?
Something calm about what a fall does to a running SIP, with no prediction of what comes next. Write it now, while the market is quiet, and have it reviewed. On the day itself there will be no time.
Can a mutual fund distributor advertise on social media?
Yes, within SEBI and AMFI rules. Content must carry the standard market-risk disclaimer, avoid promising returns, and present you as a mutual fund distributor, not an investment adviser. We check each post against those rules and leave out anything that reads like a personal recommendation.
Can we post fund returns and top fund lists?
We avoid it. Selective past performance and ranking lists invite exactly the complaints regulators watch for, and they attract investors chasing last year's winner. Education on categories and risk builds a steadier book.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
