Mutual fund distributors · Pay per click advertising

Buy your own name and the paperwork terms, and leave the rest.

Paid search for a distributor is a small, tightly written account or nothing at all, because the terms investors type are bid up by platforms with national budgets. GullySales builds the narrow keyword set, writes copy that survives a compliance read, and agrees a stop rule first.

What pay per click advertising means

Pay per click advertising (PPC) is paying a fee each time someone clicks your advert on Google or another platform. It puts you at the top of a search page immediately, instead of waiting for ranking to build. GullySales sets the targeting, writes the ad text and checks spend daily against enquiries received.

For mutual fund distributors

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • The hook every rival ad uses is one you cannot write

Competing ads shout about returns and top-performing schemes. Yours has to sell what they do not offer, which is a person who sits across a table.

  • One family stays fifteen years, which changes the sum

A click that looks expensive today is cheap against a relationship that lasts. Do that arithmetic before setting a budget, not after the first month.

  • The terms worth buying are the quiet ones

Your name, your locality, and searches about forms, mandates and transfers. Low volume, and the person behind each one has already decided to act.

  • Naming your registration in the ad filters the click

Say plainly what you are registered as. People looking for an adviser move on, and you stop paying for meetings that end in ten minutes.

What we do

What we deliver for mutual fund distributors.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A small keyword set with a hard negative list

Your name, your locality and the paperwork terms, with return, ranking, best-scheme and job searches excluded from the first day onward.

Result: Your budget goes only where it can return.

  2. Ad copy written to the disclosure requirements

Text and extensions checked for nomenclature, the disclaimer where it applies and anything reading as a recommendation, signed off by your compliance adviser.

Result: The account cannot embarrass your registration.

  3. A landing page that books a first meeting

One page saying what you are registered as, what a first meeting covers, what you will never promise, and a time to choose.

Result: The click has somewhere honest to land.

  4. Call tracking on every enquiry

Calls and form fills recorded with what was asked and whether a first meeting followed, so the account is judged on meetings rather than clicks.

Result: You know the cost of a real conversation.

  5. A written budget cap and a stop rule

The most you will spend in a month, and the number at which the account is switched off, agreed on paper before anything starts.

Result: A quiet month cannot become an expensive one.

  6. A monthly comparison against your other sources

What search advertising cost per first meeting, set beside introductions and professional referrals over the same period.

Result: You can see whether the account deserves to keep running.

How the result is measured

  • Cost per click
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries from paid search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for mutual fund distributors

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your book, SIP stops, review frequency, referral sources, reply time and what you currently publish.

  2. 2

    Set the review calendar

A schedule and CRM so every investor is reviewed on time, and a routine for market falls.

  3. 3

    Write the explanations

Plain, compliant content on fund categories, risk and goals, checked for disclaimer and nomenclature before it goes out.

  4. 4

    Bring investors in

Referral routines with investors and CAs, local search, and awareness sessions where the audience already trusts the host.

  5. 5

    Keep them invested

Money-event tracking, goal reviews and a steady, calm voice, so SIPs last and families add accounts.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Are search ads worth it for a distributor at all?
Frequently they are not, and the audit will say so. A small account on your own name and the local terms is defensible. Beyond that, the same money spent on a relationship with two accountants does more.
Can we advertise tax saving between January and March?
Carefully, and with your compliance adviser reading it first. A tax-saving scheme still carries market risk, and an ad implying a certain outcome is where distributors get into trouble. Keep it to what the category is and who should ask.
Can a mutual fund distributor advertise on social media?
Yes, within SEBI and AMFI rules. Content must carry the standard market-risk disclaimer, avoid promising returns, and present you as a mutual fund distributor, not an investment adviser. We check each post against those rules and leave out anything that reads like a personal recommendation.
Can we post fund returns and top fund lists?
We avoid it. Selective past performance and ranking lists invite exactly the complaints regulators watch for, and they attract investors chasing last year's winner. Education on categories and risk builds a steadier book.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
