Automotive service franchises · WhatsApp marketing

Answer the enquiry where the candidate and the driver already talk.

WhatsApp marketing for an automotive service franchise is the use of WhatsApp Business for candidate enquiries, service bookings, reminders and updates on a vehicle in the bay. GullySales works on the setup, the message templates and the rules for who replies.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What WhatsApp marketing means

WhatsApp marketing is sending updates, offers and reminders to customers on the app most Indian buyers already check daily. GullySales sets up business WhatsApp, writes the message templates and keeps the list consented and current.

For automotive service franchises

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The candidate asks on WhatsApp before they ring”

A garage owner sends a message asking about investment and waits. A reply with the format, a question about premises and a link to the page wins the conversation. A reply that says we will call you loses it.

  • “Job updates build trust in the bay”

A photo of a worn brake pad sent to the owner, with the estimate, turns a doubt into an approval. The owner decides at the office desk and the workshop avoids a dispute at pickup.

  • “A personal number is a weak link”

When a service advisor uses a personal phone, the chat leaves with them. A business number, a shared inbox and labels keep the conversation with the outlet, not the individual.

  • “Broadcast messages need care”

Sending offers to every contact in one go risks blocks and complaints. Messages work better when they go to people who agreed, about a vehicle they own, from an outlet they used. Check the platform's current rules.

What we do

What we deliver for automotive service franchises.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. WhatsApp Business setup for the brand and outlets

Profiles with name, address, hours and catalogue of services, with a number for the brand and one for each outlet.

Result: Customers find a verified profile for the outlet they use.

  2. Reply templates

Ready replies for franchise enquiry, service booking, estimate approval and vehicle ready, in your tone.

Result: Every advisor answers in the same words.

  3. Click-to-chat links

Links on the Google listing, website and ads that open a WhatsApp chat with the right outlet.

Result: Enquiries start in the right inbox.

  4. A consent capture step

A line on the job card and booking form that records permission for reminders.

Result: Reminders go only to customers who agreed.

  5. Reminder message set

Service due, insurance renewal and seasonal check messages, written to be useful rather than loud.

Result: An owner receives a note when something is due.

How the result is measured

  • Messages delivered
  • Reply rate
  • Enquiries from WhatsApp

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the whatsapp marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand current WhatsApp use

We review how customers currently message you and how consistently, if at all, it is answered.

  2. 2

    Audit common questions

We identify the questions that come up repeatedly, which decide what should be automated first.

  3. 3

    Set up automation and templates

An automated first response and quick reply templates are built for the most common needs.

  4. 4

    Connect to the CRM

Conversations are linked to customer records so context carries over between team members.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track response time and conversion, refining automated responses based on what customers actually ask.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can one number serve the whole brand?
For candidates, yes. For customers, one number per outlet is better, because the person answering knows the bay. A shared brand number gets crowded and slow.
Is the WhatsApp Business API needed?
Not at the start. The Business app is enough for a few outlets. Move to the API when several people answer and you want templates, reporting and integration with your system.
Can we send bulk offers to old customers?
Only to those who agreed, in the platform's approved formats. Read WhatsApp's current rules before any broadcast, and give each customer an easy way to opt out.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
