Fish hatcheries · Digital marketing

Use the phone, the map and the message list together, in the order your farmers use them.

Digital marketing for a fish hatchery is the set of online channels that carry a farmer from first hearing your name to a booked quantity. GullySales works on choosing the few that your buyers use and connecting them to one booking record.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For fish hatcheries

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Farmers use only a few of the channels”

The farmer's day runs on the phone, a map search, a messaging app and a video platform. A plan with ten channels spreads a small team thin, while three well kept ones reach the buyers you want.

  • “Digital does not replace the visit”

A farmer still wants to see the tanks and meet the manager. Online work succeeds when it leads to a call and a visit, so every channel ends with a way to ring or message the hatchery.

  • “Paid advertising needs a booking route behind it”

Paying to reach farmers when the phone goes unanswered wastes the spend. The answering routine and booking sheet come first, and paid reach, if used, follows once they are in place.

  • “The season sets the order of work”

Visibility is built before the rush, enquiries are taken during it and the book is tidied afterwards. Doing all three at once in the busiest weeks leaves nothing done well.

What we do

What we deliver for fish hatcheries.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A channel choice

A short written decision on which channels to use, based on where your current buyers found you.

Result: The plan names the few channels you will keep up.

  2. A listing, a page and a message list

Google profile, a simple website and a consented message list working from the same details.

Result: Name, species and contact match on all three.

  3. A source field on every enquiry

A note of how each farmer or trader reached you.

Result: You see which channel brought which buyer.

  4. A seasonal plan

Work arranged around the stocking season: build before, serve during, review after.

Result: The team knows what the next stretch of work is.

  5. A review of results against the register

Orders booked set against channels used and last season's book.

Result: You can see what to keep and what to drop.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Do hatcheries need paid ads?
No. A hatchery can be served well by a good listing, a message list and village word of mouth. We consider paid reach only when you have more seed than buyers and can handle the calls it brings.
How do we know digital marketing is working?
By the source recorded against each enquiry and the bookings that followed. We cannot promise a result, but we can show which channel brought which buyer, so you decide where to spend effort.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
