Borewell and drilling contractors · Reputation management
Answer the review from the owner whose bore was dry, calmly and with the facts.
Reputation management for a borewell contractor is the work of reading, answering and acting on the reviews customers leave on Google and local directories. Most complaints are about a dry bore, the depth billed or a delay. GullySales sets up a reply routine and finds the process fault behind each one.
Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What reputation management means
Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For borewell and drilling contractors
Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.
“A dry bore is a one-star review”
The owner paid for drilling and got no water. Whether or not the owner was warned, the review says the contractor cheated them.
“The depth dispute reaches Google”
An owner who disputes the depth billed writes a long review. A reader sees the claim, and without a reply, only that side of the story.
“Satisfied customers never write”
A farmer with a working bore and a good pump does not think of Google. Only those who were angry post.
What we do
What we deliver for borewell and drilling contractors.
Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.
Review monitoring
Google and local directories checked on a fixed routine by a named person, with each new review logged.
Result: No review goes unseen.
Reply guide for the trade
Short, calm replies for a dry bore, a depth dispute, a delay, a pump failure and a happy customer, in the owner's language.
Result: Each reply reads like a person who looked into it.
Link from the review to the job sheet
A note from each complaint to the signed sheet, quote and photographs for that job, so the reply is based on the record.
Result: The reply uses facts, not temper.
Asking for a review at the right moment
A polite request when the bore is giving water and the balance is paid, with a link on a printed card or a WhatsApp message.
Result: The reviews reflect more of your satisfied customers.
Plan for an unfair or abusive review
A steps sheet: reply with facts, report it under the platform's rules and never quarrel in public.
Result: A bad review does not become a public argument.
Review summary
Reviews received, answered and acted on, with the causes listed against the baseline.
Result: The owner sees patterns and not only a score.
How the result is measured
- Average rating
- Response time to reviews
- Negative mentions resolved
Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.
What to do with each review
The kinds of review a borewell contractor gets, how to reply, and what to fix behind each.
- Dry bore complaint
- Reply with the date, the depth drilled and the terms agreed, say you are sorry about the result and offer to visit. Then check the visit note: was the risk explained and signed before drilling?
- Depth or bill dispute
- Do not argue the figure in public. Say you are checking the job sheet and will call the reviewer, and do. Then check that the depth was written and signed on site, as it should have been.
- Delay in starting
- Give the reason in plain words, such as a breakdown or a rain-stopped site, and the date the rig came. Review how you tell owners about delays before they have to ring.
- Pump or motor failure after the job
- Say whether the pump was yours or fitted by someone else, what the warranty on it is and when you will visit. Check that the pump set and its terms were on the job sheet.
- Praise for the crew
- Thank the reviewer by name and mention the place if they did. Pass the praise to the crew, and invite them to send a neighbour. A short reply is better than a long one.
- Review that seems unfair
- Check the records first. If it is wrong, reply with the facts and report it under the platform's current rules. Never offer money or a rate cut for removing a review.

Not for
It is not the right fit if.
- You have not decided what you will say when an owner's bore comes up dry, so every reply would be improvised in public.
- Nobody reads new reviews, so a reply plan would run on old ones.
- You intend to ask only satisfied customers to write and to answer the rest with a stock line.
How it works
How the reputation management work runs
The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.
- 1
Search your name as a stranger would
We search the business, its main product names and the owner's name, on a phone and a laptop, and record what appears.
- 2
Catalogue every mention
Reviews, news, listings, social posts and forum threads are sorted into accurate and positive, accurate and negative, and wrong. Each group gets a different action.
- 3
Agree the replies and the owner of each
Replies are drafted and approved by you. Anything involving a refund, a clinical matter, a legal claim or a named employee goes to the right person in your business before anything is posted.
- 4
Fix what you control
Listings, profile details and your own pages are corrected, and pages worth ranking for your name are strengthened with accurate information.
- 5
Monitor and report
The agreed places are checked on the agreed schedule. The name search is repeated and compared with the first record.
