Outsourced accounting and bookkeeping firms · Search engine optimisation

Be on the page a founder reads when she searches for someone to take over her books.

Search engine optimisation (SEO) for an outsourced accounting firm means being found for the jobs owners search for: a part-time accountant, GST return filing, bookkeeping for a startup, books cleaned up before a loan. Those searches are narrow and a single services page wins none of them. GullySales builds a page for each job and follows every organic enquiry through to a signed scope.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

For outsourced accounting and bookkeeping firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “Accounting services matches nobody”

A trader types GST filing near me or Tally accountant for small shop. A startup types bookkeeping for startups. A page titled Accounting services answers none of those.

  • “Software names are searches”

Owners search Zoho Books accountant, QuickBooks bookkeeper or Tally outsourcing. A firm that never names the software it works in loses them to one that does.

  • “Students and job seekers fill the traffic”

Searches such as accountant jobs, Tally course and bookkeeping training land on service pages. Visits rise while enquiries stay flat.

What we do

What we deliver for outsourced accounting and bookkeeping firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A page for each job a buyer brings

Separate pages for bookkeeping, GST return preparation, payroll, backlog clean-up and management reports, each saying what you do, what the client sends and what stays outside your scope.

Result: A search for one job lands on one clear answer.

  2. Pages by software and by client type

A page for Tally, Zoho Books and QuickBooks work, and pages for sellers, startups, clinics or traders where you hold real clients and know their books.

Result: The page reads like it came from someone who has kept those books.

  3. A page for the week things went wrong

A takeover page for the owner whose accountant has left and a notice page for the owner holding a GST letter, each with a call and a WhatsApp option above the fold.

Result: The panicked searcher finds a person to ring.

  4. Careers and courses kept apart

Job openings and any training material on their own pages, so job-seeking searches stop landing on service pages and distorting the numbers.

Result: A visit to a service page means a buyer.

  5. Technical checks on the site

Speed on a phone, broken links, HTTPS and Search Console set up so the firm can see which searches bring people.

Result: An owner who judges your accuracy sees a site that is itself accurate.

  6. Organic enquiries traced to signed scopes

Every form, call and WhatsApp from search tagged at source and followed through to a scope sent and a scope signed, read against the baseline.

Result: You see which page produced which client.

How the result is measured

  • Ranking positions
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from organic search

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Searches your buyers type

What an owner types when the books need a new keeper, and the page that should answer.

part time accountant for small business, plus the city
The core search. Answer it with a page that names the businesses you take on, the jobs included and how documents reach you, with a short form asking which software the books are kept in.
accountant left, need books updated urgently
A takeover page. List what the owner should collect from the outgoing accountant, such as the software backup, GST portal access and the last filed returns, and offer a call.
GST return filing for Amazon and Flipkart seller
A seller page about matching marketplace settlements to sales and to GSTR-1. Say which marketplaces you have handled and where the client's own CA signs off.
Zoho Books accountant or Tally accountant outsourcing
A software page. State the version you work in, whether you work on the client's licence or your own, and who owns the data if the client leaves.
bookkeeping for startups
A page for a founder before the first audit: what books are needed after incorporation, what payroll adds and what an investor will ask to see. Keep it plain and name no investors.
what does bookkeeping cost
An honest page on what moves the fee: bank accounts, volume of bills, software, backlog and payroll. Print no rate, and give a way to get a written quote.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for outsourced accounting and bookkeeping firms

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where the last clients came from, which jobs you want more of, who handles first calls and how scopes are written today.

  2. 2

    Fix the quote step

A scope template and a reply routine, so every serious enquiry gets a named person and a written scope, not a rate over the phone.

  3. 3

    Build the presence

A website organised by job and client type, a correct Google Business Profile and consistent directory details.

  4. 4

    Show the work

Sample reports, a takeover guide and short answers to the questions owners ask, written from your own files with client details removed.

  5. 5

    Keep the book

A document routine, an early-warning list of clients going quiet, and the second-service conversation.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should each service have its own page?
Yes, for every job a buyer would search on its own, such as payroll or GST return preparation. Put minor add-ons on the parent page. A single page listing everything ranks for none of it, and the visitor leaves without finding their question.
Do we need a blog?
Only if someone will write it from real client questions. A page on what to collect when an accountant leaves gets read and forwarded. Rewritten budget summaries copied from the news do not, and they take a senior accountant's time that you need elsewhere.
A big online accounting platform ranks above us. Can we compete?
Not for the broad searches, and you need not. Compete on the narrow ones: your city, your software, your client types and the takeover week. A platform cannot say which named accountant will open the file, and a small firm can.
We serve clients across India remotely. Should we make a page per city?
Only for cities where you have an office or a partner who can visit. For the rest, say on the service page that the work runs by shared files and calls. Pages that differ only by the city name read as filler to Google and to buyers.
We are run by chartered accountants. Can we advertise?
Only within what your professional body allows, and those rules differ by body and change, so check with your own council or adviser before anything is published. A plain website, correct directory details and articles that share knowledge are the usual starting points. Firms run by non-members of the profession should still ask what applies to their CA partners.
Should we put our fees on the website?
Do not publish a rate. Publish what moves it: the number of bank accounts, the volume of bills, the software, any backlog and whether payroll is included. An owner who sees the drivers understands why a quote differs and rings you to get one.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
