Outsourced accounting and bookkeeping firms · Website

Build a site that tells an owner who will keep the books, in which software, and what to send.

A website for an outsourced accounting firm has one job: showing a worried owner that the books will be kept by named people, in software they use, with a clear list of what to send. Most firm sites list services and a stock photo of a calculator. GullySales builds the site around the jobs, the takeover and the questions an owner asks before ringing.

A 90-minute audit call and a written, scored report. Turnaround, reporting and term are agreed in writing after the audit.

For outsourced accounting and bookkeeping firms

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “A services list that every firm shares”

Accounting, taxation, payroll, audit, ROC. A seller on Amazon cannot tell if you do his settlements, and a clinic cannot tell if you have kept a doctor's books.

  • “The site hides who does the work”

No names, no photographs, no roles. An owner about to hand over bank statements wants to see the person who will open the file.

  • “A contact form that asks too much”

A long form on a phone, with no number to ring. An owner who has a notice in hand rings a firm whose number is visible and leaves one whose form scrolls.

What we do

What we deliver for outsourced accounting and bookkeeping firms.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Pages built around the job and the client

Bookkeeping, GST returns, payroll, backlog clean-up and takeover, with pages for sellers, startups and clinics where you hold real clients.

Result: A visitor finds the page for their situation in one tap.

  2. A team page with roles and names

The partners and the people who will post the books, with their roles and what they handle, and photographs where they agree.

Result: The owner sees who will open the file.

  3. A what-to-send page

The document checklist, how to share it, and what happens when something is missing, with a sample list.

Result: The first call is shorter and the first month cleaner.

  4. A sample report page

A management report on made-up numbers with a note on how to read it, and a link to ask for a call.

Result: Buyers see the output before they commit.

  5. A call and WhatsApp option on every page

A phone number and a WhatsApp link fixed at the top on phones, with a short form below for those who prefer it.

Result: Enquiries do not depend on a long form.

  6. A site the firm owns and can edit

The domain registered in the firm's name, access held by a partner, and a way to edit text without a developer.

Result: A change of agency or staff does not lock the firm out.

How the result is measured

  • Page load time
  • Bounce rate
  • Enquiries from the website

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What the page must show

What an owner looks for on an accounting firm's website before ringing, and how to show it.

Who will keep my books
Show names, roles and a short line on what each person handles. Ask each person to agree to appear, and keep the page current when someone leaves.
Which software you work in
Name Tally Prime, Zoho Books, QuickBooks or others you actually use, with a line on whether you work on the client's licence. A buyer who runs one of them looks for it.
What I send and how
A checklist of bills, statements and payroll inputs, and one place to send them. Show a sample of the missing-papers list the client sees, with no real names.
What I will see, and when
A sample management report with made-up figures. Say what the owner receives, in what form and from whom, without promising a calendar the firm cannot keep.
How my data is handled
A plain paragraph on who can open a file, how access is given and removed, and what happens to the books if the client leaves. Avoid unproven security claims.
What you do not do
State what stays with the client's CA, such as audit sign-off or opinions that need a registration. An honest limit builds more trust than a long list of services.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Free audit call

90 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. After the call

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come with it, in writing.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the work runs for outsourced accounting and bookkeeping firms

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at where the last clients came from, which jobs you want more of, who handles first calls and how scopes are written today.

  2. 2

    Fix the quote step

A scope template and a reply routine, so every serious enquiry gets a named person and a written scope, not a rate over the phone.

  3. 3

    Build the presence

A website organised by job and client type, a correct Google Business Profile and consistent directory details.

  4. 4

    Show the work

Sample reports, a takeover guide and short answers to the questions owners ask, written from your own files with client details removed.

  5. 5

    Keep the book

A document routine, an early-warning list of clients going quiet, and the second-service conversation.

Proof

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Should we use a marketplace listing instead of our own site?
Keep the listing for the calls it brings, but build your own site too. A listing shows you beside rivals at a price, and an owner who was recommended wants a page about you. The site is also the one place where you set the terms.
Do we need the site in other languages?
If your buyers speak Hindi, Kannada or another language on the phone, add the key pages in it: takeover, what to send and contact. Have a native speaker check the accounting terms. A half-translated site is worse than a clear English one.
Does mobile speed matter for our site?
Yes. Most owners open it from a phone, often straight after a message from a friend. Compress photographs, avoid heavy sliders and test it on an ordinary Android handset on mobile data, not only on office wifi.
Whose name should the website domain be in?
The firm's, in a partner's name or the company's, with the login held by someone other than the web agency. Ask for the registration and hosting details in writing. Then a change of vendor cannot cost you the address.
We are run by chartered accountants. Can we advertise?
Only within what your professional body allows, and those rules differ by body and change, so check with your own council or adviser before anything is published. A plain website, correct directory details and articles that share knowledge are the usual starting points. Firms run by non-members of the profession should still ask what applies to their CA partners.
Should we put our fees on the website?
Do not publish a rate. Publish what moves it: the number of bank accounts, the volume of bills, the software, any backlog and whether payroll is included. An owner who sees the drivers understands why a quote differs and rings you to get one.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after the audit, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile are the quickest to show, because the enquiries already exist. Ads can follow soon after follow-up is in place. SEO and content take longer. How long each takes depends on your business, and the audit tells you which applies to you. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 90 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the review meetings.
