Electrical and lighting dealers · Content marketing

Answer how many lights a room needs and the family shops with you.

Content for an electrical dealer is the advice asked across the counter: how many lights a hall needs, what an LED upgrade saves an office. GullySales writes those pages, gives the counter a short version to send, and keeps the numbers in them honest.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What content marketing means

Content marketing is writing articles, guides and pages that answer the questions buyers search before they are ready to enquire. This makes your business visible and trusted before the first call. GullySales plans this content from the first conversation onward, choosing topics that match real search demand rather than guesses.

For electrical and lighting dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The lighting plan question is asked in every showroom”

How many downlights for a twelve by sixteen hall, and what hangs over the dining table. A page that answers it with a layout is why a family walks in with a list.

  • “Owners want the load question answered before wiring starts”

Which cable size for a geyser or an air conditioner point, how many points a room needs, what a distribution board holds. Write it for the owner, not for the electrician.

  • “Commercial buyers want arithmetic they can check”

An office manager replacing forty tube lights wants the wattage, the hours and the sum. Show the working and let them put their own bill into it.

  • “Writing the warranty down prevents most arguments”

What a fitting's warranty covers, the proof needed, who raises the claim and how long it takes. Published once, it settles the conversation that otherwise ends in a review.

What we do

What we deliver for electrical and lighting dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A room-by-room lighting guide

How many fittings a hall, bedroom, kitchen and balcony of common sizes take, with the wattage and colour temperature for each.

Result: Families arrive with a list instead of a question.

  2. A house wiring page for owners

What a wiring package covers, the points per room, cable sizes for heavy appliances and what a distribution board holds, in plain words.

Result: The owner can follow what their electrician is buying.

  3. An LED retrofit calculation page

The wattage comparison, the running hours and the arithmetic an office can check against its own bill, with no saving promised.

Result: Commercial buyers ask for a site visit.

  4. A warranty and claim page

What each brand covers, the proof to keep, who raises the claim and how long it takes, gathered in one place.

Result: Arguments are settled before they start.

  5. A smart switch explainer without the jargon

What a smart switch does in one room, what it needs behind the wall and what it costs to add after the house is finished.

Result: People ask for it while the walls are still open.

  6. A short version for WhatsApp

Each page cut down to a message with a link, saved on the counter phone and the showroom phone.

Result: The advice reaches the buyer while they are deciding.

How the result is measured

  • Pages published
  • Organic traffic
  • Enquiries from content pages

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Questions buyers ask first

The questions a family or electrician asks across the counter, and the page that answers each one.

How many lights does my hall need?
A room guide by room type: how bright, which colour temperature (warm or cool white), and where to place fittings. End with an invitation to send a photo and the room size on WhatsApp.
Which wire and MCB for my new house?
A house wiring page: copper wire gauge by circuit (lights, sockets, AC), the distribution board and RCCB, and a line that the electrician sizes it to the load. Show the brands you stock.
Is a BLDC fan worth the extra price?
A fan page comparing a BLDC fan with an ordinary one using watts printed on the box, hours of use and the owner's own tariff. Let the reader do the arithmetic.
Will smart switches work with my existing wiring?
A smart switch page: whether the wiring has a neutral at the switch box, what the electrician must check, and which models work with which app. Say what does not work.
What if the light fails after a few months?
A warranty page: who gives the warranty (the brand or you), what voids it, what to bring in, and how a replacement is handled. Putting it in writing prevents most arguments.
Can you supply on a builder or contractor quotation?
A project desk page: how to send a bill of quantities, what you quote, samples, delivery to site and a GST invoice. A contractor needs to know this before walking in.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the content marketing work runs

  1. 1

    Confirm the plan

Topics and formats for the coming month are confirmed against the content strategy.

  2. 2

    Produce and review

Content is written or filmed, then reviewed by someone who knows your trade before it goes out.

  3. 3

    Publish and distribute

Finished content is published to the site and pushed through the channels your buyers actually use.

  4. 4

    Track enquiries

Enquiries are traced back to content where a direct line exists, and reported honestly where it does not.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

We report results and adjust the next topics based on what actually worked.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Will an owner not take our advice to a cheaper shop?
Some will, and they were buying on rate anyway. A family that needs a lighting plan for a whole house is buying judgement, and that is the order worth having. Nobody carries a downlight layout to a counter that cannot explain it.
Who checks the technical content?
Your own senior counter staff, before anything is published. We write it from a conversation with them and send it back for correction. Anything touching wiring standards is written as guidance and left to the electrician on the job.
Should we show prices on these pages?
Show a price only for items whose rate rarely changes, with the date. For fast-moving wire and switches give a way to ask on WhatsApp. An old price on a page is worse than none because it starts an argument at the counter.
Do we need a professional photographer for lighting?
Not to start. A phone in a lit room, steady, with the fitting switched on and off in the same frame, shows more than a catalogue shot. Hire a photographer later for the showroom itself and for the fittings that carry the most margin.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
