Electrical and lighting dealers · Local SEO

Your listing says electrical shop, so no designer finds the lights.

Local SEO for an electrical dealer is one Maps listing serving two searches: an electrician wanting a counter open at eight, and a family looking for a lighting showroom. GullySales sets the categories, the photographs and the hours so both searches end at your door.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What local SEO means

Local SEO is the work of making your business show up for searches that name your town or locality, such as a service plus an area name. GullySales sets up locality pages, local citations and map listings so nearby customers find you before a competitor across town.

For electrical and lighting dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The category decides which half of the shop exists”

Listed only as an electrical supply shop, your lighting displays are invisible to anybody searching for a showroom. The secondary categories and the products list are where that half of the business lives.

  • “Eight in the morning is a search time in this trade”

Electricians look for an open counter before they reach the site. A listing that says ten sends them to whoever opens early.

  • “Photograph the displays with the lights on”

A chandelier or a profile light shot switched off looks like stock on a shelf. The lit picture is what brings a family in on a Saturday.

  • “Delivery is the attribute worth stating”

Contractors want to know whether material reaches the site and how quickly. Putting it on the profile answers the question before the call.

What we do

What we deliver for electrical and lighting dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Categories covering both sides of the shop

A primary category for the main trade and secondary ones for lighting, fans and smart home products, with the products list filled in.

Result: Both kinds of searcher find the shop.

  2. The showroom photographed with the lights on

Displays shot in the evening with the fittings lit, the counter during working hours, the storage area and the delivery vehicle.

Result: A family can see it is worth the trip.

  3. Hours set by who arrives when

Early opening for the trade counter, the weekend hours the showroom keeps, the weekly closing day and festival timings loaded in advance.

Result: Nobody is sent elsewhere by a wrong timing.

  4. Attributes and services listed properly

Delivery to site, billing at the counter, the brands carried and the services the shop offers, filled in on the profile.

Result: Common questions are answered before the call.

  5. Questions and posts kept up

Brand and availability questions answered on the profile by your own staff, with posts for festival lighting and the fan season.

Result: Wrong answers stop sitting on your listing.

  6. Listing enquiries counted

Calls, direction requests and messages recorded beside the baseline, with the counter asking new faces how they found the shop.

Result: You can see what Maps brings each side of the business.

How the result is measured

  • Map pack ranking
  • Local search visibility
  • Enquiries by locality

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

What Google weighs here

How an electrician and a family nearby find the same shop, and what to fix first.

Two categories, one shop
Use Electrical supply store for the counter and Lighting store for the showroom, where both are under one roof. Put the one that brings most revenue first. Do not add more than these two.
Items by name
List wire, MCB, ceiling fans, LED panel lights and chandeliers as products or services, as stocked. Where you are an authorised dealer, name the brand, such as Havells, Polycab or Anchor, and leave off brands you cannot supply.
What electricians search
An electrician at a site looks for wire shop near me or MCB shop open now. Add those words in the description in plain language, and set early hours, so the counter appears when he needs a coil of wire.
Brand locators and IndiaMART
Check the dealer locator of each brand you hold, since customers open them first. Use IndiaMART for project buyers who want a quote on a lot. Keep the shop name and number the same on all.
Two kinds of review
Ask electricians about the counter, and families about the showroom, and ask each to say which. A profile full of counter praise does not tell a family the showroom is worth a Sunday drive.
Two phone numbers
Add the counter number as the main one and the showroom number as an additional one. A family should not reach the counter staff, and an electrician should not wait on a showroom line.

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the local SEO work runs

  1. 1

    Audit every listing

We check the Google Business Profile and directory listings for every branch against what should actually be shown.

  2. 2

    Complete and correct

Profiles are filled in fully and inconsistent details are corrected across every directory found.

  3. 3

    Build location pages

Each branch gets a page written for its own area, not a copy of the head office page with the address changed.

  4. 4

    Set up review handling

A simple process for requesting and responding to reviews is put in place with whoever is closest to the customer.

  5. 5

    Report and adjust

Map actions and enquiries per branch are reported, and branches falling behind are prioritised the next month.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Can one listing cover the counter and the showroom?
Yes, when the categories, the products and the photographs carry both. A second listing needs its own entrance, staff and signage, or it gets suspended. Most dealers do better making one listing describe the whole shop.
Which photographs actually bring people in?
The lit displays, the counter with people at it, and the delivery vehicle. Families judge a lighting shop on whether it looks worth the journey. Contractors look for a counter that is stocked and staffed.
Should I list two phone numbers on one profile?
Yes. Maps allows a primary and an additional number. Give the counter number as the primary for trade calls, and the showroom or project desk number as the second, with a line in the description saying which is which. Check both ring during opening hours.
Can customers see my stock on Maps?
Only what you add. Put the items people ask for most in the products section with a clear photograph, and say call to check availability for the rest. Remove an item when it is out of stock. A listed item that is not on the shelf costs you a customer.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
