Stationery and office supply dealers · Reputation management

Your name travels between admins in one building, not on Google.

A dealer's reputation in the office market passes by word of mouth between admin executives, while the reviews you do collect are written by parents in the June queue. GullySales asks for reviews at the moment an order went right, and writes the replies to the complaints you get.

A statue plinth seen close: the bronze figure implied only by its feet and the hem of its drapery above the top of the frame, one face of the stone pedestal scrubbed pale and the other still grimy and carrying a scrawl of paint, with a pressure hose coiled on the steps beside a bucket, brushes and cloths

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For stationery and office supply dealers

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Admins in one building talk to each other

A company moves onto the fourth floor and asks the office next door who supplies them. That conversation decides more accounts than any review page.

  • The only reviews you get are written in June

A parent who waited forty minutes in the reopening queue leaves one star about the crowd. Nobody whose monthly delivery arrived complete writes anything.

  • Substituting a brand without asking becomes your reputation

Send a different make of pen once, with no call first, and the account starts telling people you send whatever is lying in the godown.

  • Vendor registration asks for references

A procurement team wants two existing customers it can ring. If nobody agreed in advance, you fail a step that had nothing to do with your rates.

What we do

What we deliver for stationery and office supply dealers.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A review ask made after a clean delivery

The request goes out when a monthly order arrived complete and on time, not at the counter during the school rush when everybody is irritated.

Result: The reviews you collect describe what you are good at.

  2. A substitution message sent before dispatch

A short note naming the substitute, the price difference and the option to wait, sent before the vehicle leaves rather than after the bill lands.

Result: A changed brand stops turning into a complaint.

  3. Replies written for delivery and billing complaints

Standard answers for a late delivery, a short supply and an invoice error, each saying what was done and by when, without arguing in public.

Result: The next reader sees a shop that sorts things out.

  4. References collected in advance, with permission

Two or three office accounts who have agreed to take a call from a procurement team, with the contact and the work they can speak to noted down.

Result: The vendor registration step stops catching you out.

  5. A weekly look at your listings

Maps, JustDial and IndiaMART checked for new reviews, unanswered questions and wrong information, so nothing sits there for a month.

Result: Nothing about your shop stays wrong for long.

  6. A monthly read of why people complained

Complaints counted by reason, whether delivery, substitution, billing or stock, and taken to the counter team rather than filed away.

Result: The reason gets fixed, not only answered.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for stationery and office supply dealers

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at your walk-in and account mix, how quotes are handled, which offices and schools have stopped ordering, and how visible you are nearby.

  2. 2

    Make ordering easy

A catalogue, a price list and a same-day quote routine on WhatsApp and email.

  3. 3

    Win accounts nearby

Office and school outreach, local search and a GeM listing where it fits.

  4. 4

    Grow each account

Pantry, housekeeping and gifting added to the monthly order, and seasonal campaigns for schools and year-end.

  5. 5

    Keep the reorder

An account register, reorder reminders and a monthly review of volume and dues.

What happened when owners fixed this.

Real clients, the work we did, and the result as it was recorded. Where no number was recorded, none is claimed.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Our customers are offices and they never write reviews. Does this matter?
It matters for the customers you have not met. A new office nearby will look you up, and an empty profile next to a rival with thirty reviews is a poor start. Ask the parents and the walk-ins, because they do write them.
A parent left one star about the June queue. What do we say?
Answer plainly. The season was heavy, here is what has changed, and pre-orders open in April. Then actually take pre-orders next year, because a reply that promises a fix and delivers one reads better than any apology.
How can a local stationery dealer compete with Amazon Business?
Not on the price of A4 paper alone. Win on the things a marketplace cannot do, such as next-day delivery of a mixed forty-item list and one monthly GST bill. A call before the office runs out of toner is the hardest of all for an app to match.
Is it worth registering on GeM?
If there are government offices, schools or public sector units in your area, usually yes. It takes effort to list products and compete on price, so we look at the demand near you before recommending it.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped in the free audit and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
