Cloud consulting companies · Lead generation

Fill the pipeline with buyers who already have a cloud bill or a migration to decide.

Lead generation for a cloud consulting company means attracting CTOs, engineering heads and finance heads who have a live cloud problem and need an outside review. GullySales works on the assessment offer, the routes that bring in each type of buyer and the record that shows which route produced a paid assessment.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What lead generation means

Lead generation is the combined work of every channel that brings in a new enquiry, whether from search, adverts, referrals or a stall at an exhibition. GullySales runs these channels together and reports the number of enquiries each one produced, not the activity behind it.

For cloud consulting companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The enquiry arrives with a trigger”

A cloud lead is rarely curious. Something happened: an invoice doubled, a data centre lease is ending, an audit found open ports. Lead generation that starts from the trigger reaches the buyer at the moment a consultant is wanted.

  • “Two buyers need two doors”

The CTO asks about architecture and risk. The finance head asks why the line item grew. One contact form for both sends each of them to a page that answers only half of the question, and the budget holder leaves.

  • “Referrals come from three directions”

Platform account managers, integrators and peer CTOs each send leads, and each wants a different reason to pass your name on. Counting them together hides which route is worth more of your time.

  • “A lead is not a paid assessment”

A downloaded checklist is a contact, not a project. The step that matters is the first scoping call and what the buyer is asked to bring to it, because that step separates the browsers from the sponsors.

What we do

What we deliver for cloud consulting companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Lead routes written down by buyer

A short map of each route to a lead, from search to platform referral to peer introduction, with the buyer type and the first question that route should open with.

Result: One page showing every route and who it brings.

  2. Assessment enquiry form for both buyers

A form that asks what triggered the enquiry, the platform in use and who holds the budget, so the first reply is specific.

Result: Every enquiry arrives with a trigger and a named budget holder.

  3. Scoping call outline

A set of questions and a list of items for the buyer to bring, such as a recent invoice and an architecture sketch.

Result: A first call that ends with a clear yes or no to a paid assessment.

  4. Lead source record

A simple record of where each lead came from, who handled it and whether it became an assessment.

Result: A view of which route produces paid assessments, not only enquiries.

  5. Referral request note for platform and integrator contacts

A short note that tells a contact what kind of client you suit and what to say when passing your name on.

Result: Referrers know what a good introduction to your firm looks like.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries generated
  • Cost per enquiry
  • Enquiries by source

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the lead generation work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand your capacity

We agree how many enquiries your sales team can actually handle well, so the system is not built to overwhelm it.

  2. 2

    Audit current sources

We check what already brings in enquiries today, even informally, before adding anything new.

  3. 3

    Strategise the channel mix

Content, search and paid channels are chosen based on where your buyers already look.

  4. 4

    Implement capture and follow-up

Pages, forms and a follow-up process are built and connected end to end.

  5. 5

    Measure and optimise

We track enquiry volume and quality and adjust the channel mix to match.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 1, prospecting and lead generation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Should we run paid ads for cloud leads?
Possibly, for cost-shock searches, where the buyer is actively looking. We look at your routes first and recommend ads only where a search term shows a buyer with a trigger. We make no promise on lead volume.
How do we stop low-quality enquiries?
Ask for the trigger and the budget holder on the form, and state what the assessment covers. Buyers who only want a rate card read that and leave, which saves your senior people's time.
How much does it cost?
There is no price list, because the work differs by business. The fee is scoped after we have read your brief and spoken to you, and put in writing before anything starts, split into our time, your media spend and production.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
