Cloud consulting companies · Digital marketing

Choose the few online channels that reach a CTO or a finance head with a live problem.

Digital marketing for a cloud consulting company is the combined use of search, LinkedIn, email and your website to reach a small number of high-value buyers. GullySales works on which channels fit your firm, how they connect and how each is judged by assessments started.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

What digital marketing means

Digital marketing is the combined work of search, social media, advertising and website channels running together rather than as separate projects with separate people. GullySales runs these as one connected system so a change in one channel, such as a new offer, is reflected everywhere at once.

For cloud consulting companies

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • “The audience is small and specific”

A cloud consultancy does not need a crowd. It needs the right few engineering and finance heads at companies of a suitable size. Broad reach spends money on people who will never hire you.

  • “Channels must hand over to one another”

A buyer may meet a post, read a guide and then search your name before enquiring. If each channel is run alone, nobody can tell which one earned the enquiry, and budget moves to the loudest report.

  • “Paid media suits narrow moments”

Ads work best for searches made in the moment of a bill shock or an approaching deadline. Running them as general awareness for a technical audience is costly and difficult to justify.

  • “Reports should count assessments”

Clicks and impressions please a dashboard and say little about sales. The figure that matters is how many enquiries became paid assessments and how many of those became projects.

What we do

What we deliver for cloud consulting companies.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Channel plan for your firm

A written plan naming the channels that fit your buyers and the reason for each, with those left out and why.

Result: A short plan that says where effort goes and where it does not.

  2. Tracking set-up

Set-up of analytics and enquiry tracking, using tools such as Google Analytics, so that enquiries carry their source.

Result: Each enquiry shows how the buyer found you.

  3. Cost-shock search campaign

A small paid search campaign, with its landing pages, aimed at buyers who search for reasons a bill has risen.

Result: A contained test with its own pages and its own counts.

  4. Email routine for past clients and contacts

Useful notes to people who have agreed to hear from you, written around real changes on the platforms.

Result: A short mailing that gives readers a reason to open.

  5. Results review

A written review of enquiries, assessments and projects by channel, with a recommendation on where to spend next.

Result: A review that compares channels by outcome, not by clicks.

How the result is measured

  • Enquiries across channels
  • Cost per enquiry overall
  • Channel mix by contribution

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

How it works

How the digital marketing work runs

The work itself, in order. How an engagement starts, from your brief to a written scope, is set out on our method page.

  1. 1

    Understand the objective

We agree the one thing this campaign needs to achieve before choosing any channel.

  2. 2

    Audit available channels

We assess which channels are realistic to run well within the budget and timeline.

  3. 3

    Strategise the central idea

One message and offer is developed that will work across every planned channel.

  4. 4

    Implement across channels

Each channel receives its own adapted version, launched on a shared timeline.

  5. 5

    Measure as one campaign

Results from every channel are combined into a single report against the original objective.

Where this fits

Three pieces of sales work, in this order.

This work sits inside sales process design, at stage 0, foundation. The audit comes before it, and sales management keeps it running.

  1. Step 1

    Sales audit

Find where deals are being lost and what to fix first.

Start here if you cannot say where orders are lost.

  2. Step 2 · you are here

    Sales process design

One written way to sell, from first enquiry to repeat order.

Start here if every salesperson sells differently.

  3. Step 3

    Sales management

A target, a review routine and someone who owns the number.

Start here if the team has targets and no routine.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

How much should we spend on digital marketing?
That depends on the value of an assessment and the follow-on work it brings. We do not set a figure without seeing your numbers, and we start with a small test before any larger spend.
Do we need all channels?
No. Two or three channels done well beat six done thinly. We choose the ones where your buyers already look and drop the rest.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
