Wedding planners · Email marketing

Email is for the venue, the vendor and the family in New Jersey.

Email for a wedding planner works where WhatsApp does not: proposals to families abroad, venue and vendor partnerships, and the yearly note to past clients whose cousins are getting married. GullySales builds those lists and writes the mails, with consent handled properly.

A post room: a wall rack of pigeonholes with sorted letters and strapped bundles, a loaded mail trolley wheeled up in front of it, and on the bench a franking machine with one envelope under the press arm, franked and cleared

What email marketing means

Email marketing is sending planned messages to a list of past and prospective customers who have agreed to hear from you. It suits offers, updates and staying in touch with someone who is not ready to buy yet. GullySales writes and schedules these emails and tracks who opens, clicks and enquires.

For wedding planners

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Families here use WhatsApp, families abroad use mail

A family in Chicago wants a proposal they can open on a laptop and forward to relatives in three time zones before anybody replies.

  • Venues and vendors are a list worth keeping

Resorts, halls, photographers and decorators who get asked to recommend a planner will read a short note about your recent work and free dates.

  • Past families have cousins

The sister who is next, the cousin whose date is fixed. A note a year later asks the question nobody else asks.

  • Corporate work fills the off-season by mail

The team that runs a wedding can run an offsite or a dealer meet, and those buyers live in an inbox all day.

What we do

What we deliver for wedding planners.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A proposal format that works in an inbox

Planning fee, vendor estimates, payment stages and exclusions in a document a family abroad can open, read and forward without a call.

Result: Distance stops being a reason to choose somebody local.

  2. A venue and vendor list with a reason to write

The resorts, halls, photographers and decorators who meet couples first, kept with a note on your recent work and the dates you still have.

Result: Recommendations keep arriving between seasons.

  3. A yearly note to past families

A warm message around the anniversary asking after the family and about the siblings and cousins with dates ahead.

Result: Referrals come from families who trusted you once.

  4. A campaign written for enquiries from abroad

Mails covering remote planning, guest travel, room blocks and meeting times across zones, sent to the enquiries that came from overseas.

Result: A family abroad gets answers in the form they prefer.

  5. An off-season corporate offer

A short proposal for offsites, conferences and dealer meets, sent to companies and event buyers during your quiet months.

Result: The team has work when the muhurtas stop.

  6. Consent, replies and meetings tracked

Permission recorded, unsubscribes honoured, and opens, replies and meetings reported each month against the starting figures.

Result: You can see what the list is actually worth.

How the result is measured

  • Open rate
  • Click rate
  • Enquiries from email

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for wedding planners

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at last season's enquiries by source and budget, how fast each got a reply, how many reached a family meeting, and why proposals were lost.

  2. 2

    Filter and answer fast

An enquiry form and DM reply that ask about date, city, guest count and budget range, with the serious ones answered the same day.

  3. 3

    Show what you manage

Portfolio stories by wedding type and scale, covering guest logistics, rituals and problems solved, not only décor photographs.

  4. 4

    Win the family

A meeting pack for parents, a proposal with a clear fee and vendor cost breakdown, and a follow-up schedule through the family's decision.

  5. 5

    Grow the referrals

Relationships with venues, decorators, photographers and past families, kept warm through the year and not only in season.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Not here? More answers, or ask on WhatsApp.

Do Indian families even read email?
The couple rarely. The father often does, and a family abroad almost always does, because a proposal has to be forwarded and discussed across households. Use WhatsApp for speed and mail for anything read twice.
How do we keep venues recommending us?
Write four or five times a year with something real: a wedding you ran at their property, the dates you still have free, a change in your team. Planners who appear only when they need a date get recommended last.
Should we show a starting budget on our website?
Usually yes. A line such as weddings we plan typically start from a certain range filters out mismatched enquiries and saves your team hours. Couples with a larger budget are not put off by a starting figure.
How do we stand out when every planner posts the same décor?
Tell the story behind the photographs. Film how you moved guests between two venues on a rainy day, or ran a Tamil and a Punjabi ceremony in one weekend. That shows the parents what they are really paying for.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
