Wedding planners · Reputation management

A guest's review arrives months after the wedding and stays for years.

Reputation for a wedding planner is what a family reads on Google and the wedding platforms, and what a venue says when a couple asks for a recommendation. GullySales builds the review request into your wrap-up, drafts replies to the complaints this work produces, and watches the platforms.

A statue plinth seen close: the bronze figure implied only by its feet and the hem of its drapery above the top of the frame, one face of the stone pedestal scrubbed pale and the other still grimy and carrying a scrawl of paint, with a pressure hose coiled on the steps beside a bucket, brushes and cloths

What reputation management means

Reputation management is watching what is said about your business across Google, social media and review sites, and responding to it before it changes a buyer's mind. GullySales monitors mentions, drafts responses to negative reviews and flags recurring complaints back to your team.

For wedding planners

Where it usually goes wrong, and what we would do.

  • Relatives review a wedding they did not pay for

An uncle unhappy about the seating writes a review. He was not the client, he is not wrong in his own eyes, and it sits on your page.

  • The complaint is usually money, not the event

A final bill carrying vendor costs the family did not expect is what turns a good wedding into a bad review, weeks after everyone went home.

  • A venue's word outweighs a rating

Resorts recommend planners who do not damage the property and who pay vendors on time. Losing that is invisible until the enquiries stop.

  • The review comes when the photographs come

Families are exhausted through the functions and travelling after them. The moment to ask is when the album arrives and they are happy again.

What we do

What we deliver for wedding planners.

Every deliverable, what it covers for you, and the result it is there to produce. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. A review request built into the wrap-up

The couple and the parents asked in the weeks after the wedding, once the photographs are in, with links for Google and for the platform that brought them.

Result: Reviews come from the weddings that went well.

  2. Replies prepared for the complaints this work produces

Wording for a vendor who let the family down, a disputed final bill, a function that started late and a relative's complaint about seating or food.

Result: The public answer is measured and sounds like your team.

  3. Vendor payments and disputes handled cleanly

A record of what each vendor was paid and when, so a public claim about dues can be answered with facts the same day.

Result: A vendor argument does not become a family's doubt.

  4. Venue relationships kept in repair

Regular contact with the resorts and halls you work at, and any complaint from their team dealt with directly rather than left to settle.

Result: Venues keep giving your name to couples who ask.

  5. Alerts across Google, platforms and wedding groups

Notifications for the company name, the founder's name and the platforms, including the misspellings families actually type.

Result: Something posted on a Sunday is seen on the Monday.

  6. Ratings and causes read every month

New reviews by platform, what each was really about, and what changed in the process afterwards, set beside the starting position.

Result: The same complaint does not return next season.

How the result is measured

  • Average rating
  • Response time to reviews
  • Negative mentions resolved

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, then reported every month against it.

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • You want a guaranteed Google ranking or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You need enquiries by next week and have nobody to answer them.
  • You want posts and reach reported, not enquiries and orders.

How it works

From your first message to the first monthly report.

No open-ended retainer. Each step has a point in time and something you receive.

  1. 01 · Day 1

    Free audit call

45 minutes with whoever handles your enquiries: how they arrive, how fast they are answered, where they are lost.

  2. 02 · Within a few working days

    Written, scored report

Six areas scored, fixes ranked by return and cost. If you want our help, the scope and fee come with it, in writing.

  3. 03 · Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

Enquiries by source, reply time, conversion and cost per order, written down so every later month has an honest comparison.

  4. 04 · Month 1

    The first fix goes live

Usually the cheapest one on the report: reply time, a follow-up sequence or the marketing-to-sales handover.

  5. 05 · Every month

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words.

  6. 06 · Month 3 to 6

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. No twelve-month lock.

How the work runs for wedding planners

  1. 1

    Assess

We look at last season's enquiries by source and budget, how fast each got a reply, how many reached a family meeting, and why proposals were lost.

  2. 2

    Filter and answer fast

An enquiry form and DM reply that ask about date, city, guest count and budget range, with the serious ones answered the same day.

  3. 3

    Show what you manage

Portfolio stories by wedding type and scale, covering guest logistics, rituals and problems solved, not only décor photographs.

  4. 4

    Win the family

A meeting pack for parents, a proposal with a clear fee and vendor cost breakdown, and a follow-up schedule through the family's decision.

  5. 5

    Grow the referrals

Relationships with venues, decorators, photographers and past families, kept warm through the year and not only in season.

What happened when owners fixed this.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every monthly report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No lock-in, no guarantees we cannot keep

Three to six months at a time. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

A guest reviewed us over something the caterer did. What do we reply?
Say what your team handled, what the vendor was responsible for and what has changed since, without naming the vendor unkindly. The family reading it wants to know somebody was in charge.
Should we ask the couple or the parents for a review?
Both, in the same week, because they had different weddings. The couple write about the experience and the parents write about the money and the rituals. The second one convinces the next father.
Should we show a starting budget on our website?
Usually yes. A line such as weddings we plan typically start from a certain range filters out mismatched enquiries and saves your team hours. Couples with a larger budget are not put off by a starting figure.
How do we stand out when every planner posts the same décor?
Tell the story behind the photographs. Film how you moved guests between two venues on a rainy day, or ran a Tamil and a Punjabi ceremony in one weekend. That shows the parents what they are really paying for.
How long is the contract?
Three to six months at a time. There is no twelve-month lock, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
Fixes to reply time, follow-up and your Google Business Profile usually show in weeks, because the enquiries already exist. Ads show in days once follow-up is ready. SEO and content take months. The audit tells you which applies to you.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you meet on the audit call. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
For the audit, last month's enquiries in any format and 45 minutes with whoever handles them. After that, access to the accounts the work touches, such as the website, Google Business Profile or CRM, and time for the monthly review.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Every month is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. Terms run three to six months at a time, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
