Microsoft Advertising · Marketing

Reach the desktop buyers who search on Bing, and keep the spend small until the results justify more.

The bulk of Indian searches happen on Google, so Google Ads is where paid search starts for nearly every business. Microsoft Advertising is a second, smaller channel. Its reach is the Bing search engine and Microsoft's partner placements. Your own analytics show whether your buyers use them.

Scope, fee, reporting and term are agreed in writing after we have read your brief and spoken to you.

A search advertising specialist reviewing campaign information

In one paragraph

Microsoft Advertising places your ads on Bing and its partner networks. In India its share of search is small, so it is worth a look mainly for B2B offers whose buyers work on office desktops. GullySales sets up, runs and reports on the account. Scope and fee are agreed in writing after the requirements brief.

That makes it a fit for some B2B offers and a poor fit for consumer offers aimed at phones. We say so at the start. If your buyers are not on desktops during working hours, we will tell you to put the money into Google Ads or Meta instead.

Where it does fit, the work is a careful copy of what already works for you on Google, with its own tracking, bids and reports so you can judge Bing on its own numbers.

The problem

Does this sound like your business?

What owners tell us on the first call, in their words.

  • “A second channel adds work for little extra volume”

Bing is a small share of Indian search. Without a clear view of which keywords justify it, the account costs management time and returns very little.

  • “Google campaigns are copied across without checking”

Keywords, match types and ad text imported in bulk carry over settings that suit Google but not Bing, and nobody reviews them afterwards.

  • “Conversions are not tracked on their own”

If Bing visits are not tagged and measured separately, you cannot tell whether the channel produced enquiries or only clicks.

  • “Brand and competitor terms are left to chance”

Others can bid on your name, and your ads may appear against competitor searches without a rule about where that is acceptable.

What we do

Everything that is included.

Each deliverable, and what it gets you. Nothing here is an extra.

  1. Fit check against your buyers

A plain view of whether your buyers use Bing at all, based on your own analytics and enquiry sources, before any budget is set.

  2. Search ads

Text ads on Bing search results for the keywords that matter to your offer, written for the buyer's question.

  3. Audience ads

Ads shown to defined audiences across Microsoft's placements, where the platform offers them for your offer. Check the platform's current product names and rules.

  4. Shopping and product ads

For sellers with a product catalogue, product ads built from the feed, where the platform supports your market.

  5. Remarketing, brand and competitor keywords

Ads for people who visited your site before, and a written rule for brand and competitor terms, within the platform's current policies.

  6. Migration from Google Ads

Moving suitable campaigns across, then reviewing keywords, match types and ad text so they fit Bing.

  7. Conversion tracking, bids and reporting

Tracking set up to count enquiries, bids reviewed against the cost of each, and a report on Bing kept separate from Google.

How the result is measured

  • Clicks and enquiries from Bing, reported apart from Google
  • Cost per enquiry compared with Google Ads
  • Search terms that triggered your ads, and the ones removed
  • Share of enquiries from desktop visitors
  • Spend against the limit agreed in writing

Recorded as a baseline before work starts, so every later report has an honest comparison.

Who it is for

This is written for you if these sound familiar.

  • B2B suppliers, software firms and service providers whose buyers search from office desktops
  • Owners whose Google Ads account already works and who want to test a second search channel
  • Businesses with a narrow set of high-value keywords where a small extra audience is worth having
  • Teams that want Bing results reported separately, not folded into the Google numbers

Not for

It is not the right fit if.

  • Your buyers are consumers who search on mobile phones
  • You have no working Google Ads account yet; start there first
  • You expect Bing to match the volume of Google; in India it will not

How it works

From your first message to the first report.

No open-ended retainer. Every step gives you something in writing.

  1. First

    Your brief

You tell us what you need in a few short steps: your business, what you want, where enquiries come from and how they are handled.

  2. After the brief

A conversation and a written scope

We read it, then talk with whoever handles your enquiries. If you want our help, the scope, the fee and the reporting come in writing, and nothing starts before you have read them.

  3. Before work starts

    Baseline recorded

The numbers this work is meant to move, such as enquiries, quotations, orders, visits or renewals, written down so every later report has an honest comparison.

  4. After the baseline

    The first fix goes live

The fix we agreed to start with is put in place and measured against the baseline, whether that is a reply, a follow-up, a page, a listing or the handover between marketing and sales.

  5. As agreed

    Report against the baseline

What moved, what did not, and what changes next, in plain words. How often you get it is set in writing before work starts.

  6. At renewal

    Renew on the numbers

The term ends and you decide whether to continue from the results. The length is agreed in writing before anything starts.

How the microsoft Advertising work runs

  1. 1

    Requirements brief

We start with a brief: what you sell, who buys, how they search and what your Google results look like today. Scope and fee are agreed in writing after it.

  2. 2

Decide whether Bing is worth it

We read your analytics and enquiry sources and tell you plainly whether to proceed, and with what limit on spend.

  3. 3

    Set up and migrate

We build the account, bring across the campaigns that fit, and set up conversion tracking before any ad goes live.

  4. 4

    Run and adjust bids

We watch search terms, remove waste and move bids to the keywords that bring enquiries.

  5. 5

    Report and decide

We show Bing results beside Google and agree with you whether to widen, hold or stop the channel.

Why us

Why owners pick GullySales over an agency.

  • Marketing and sales, as one job

Most agencies stop at the enquiry. We also fix what happens after it: the reply, the follow-up, the quote and the CRM.

  • The person on the first call does the work

No account managers in between. You are never handed to someone you have not met.

  • A baseline before anything starts

Your numbers are written down on day one, so every later report compares against something honest.

  • The fee in writing, split three ways

Our time, your media spend and production on separate lines. You always see what goes to us.

  • No guarantees we cannot keep

The term is agreed in writing and never a default twelve months. We never promise a ranking or a lead count, because nobody controls those.

  • One office, and we say so

Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru. We work across India by call and WhatsApp and travel when a session needs to be in person.

#257, 3rd floor, Sri Nanjundeshwara Complex, Nagarbhavi 8th Block, Outer Ring Road. How we work.

Engagement options

Ways to work with us.

Pick the size of commitment that fits. Every option starts with your brief and a conversation.

  1. Option 1

    The conversation on its own

A call after you send your brief. It says honestly whether you need outside help, and many fixes are ones your own team can make.

  2. Option 2

    One fix, scoped

Start with the fix that matters most, such as reply time or follow-up. The fee is in writing before anything starts.

  3. Option 3

    An ongoing programme

We run the work, report against the baseline, and you renew on the numbers. The term and the reporting are agreed in writing first.

  4. Option 4

Guidance for your own team or agency

We plan, brief and check the work of your in-house team or current agency, instead of replacing them.

Your brief

Tell us what you need, and we will read it before we call.

FAQ

Questions owners ask before they call.

Is Bing worth using in India?
Google comes first for nearly every business. Bing's share of search here is small. It earns a place mainly where your buyers are on office desktops. We check this against your own data before recommending it.
Can you copy my Google Ads campaigns across?
We can move suitable campaigns, then review each one. Settings that suit Google do not always suit Bing, so the copy is a starting point and not the finished account.
Will it bring me leads?
We cannot promise leads or sales from any ad channel. We set up tracking so you can see what Bing brings and decide for yourself.
Do you bid on competitor names?
Only if you want it, and within the platform's current rules and the law. We agree a written rule on brand and competitor terms before any such ad runs.
How is it priced?
There is no published price. The fee is put in writing after the requirements brief, and your ad spend paid to Microsoft is separate from our fee.
How long is the contract?
The term is agreed in writing after we have spoken, along with the fee and the reporting. It is never a default twelve months, and renewal is decided on the numbers against the baseline recorded at the start.
How soon will we see results?
It depends on the trade, the channel and what is already in place. After we have read your brief and spoken to you, we say what we would expect to move first and how it will be measured against the baseline. Nothing here is guaranteed.
Who will actually do the work?
The person you speak to before anything starts. We work from one office in Nagarbhavi, Bengaluru, with no account managers in between.
What do you need from us?
Your brief, and a conversation. After that, access to whatever this work touches, such as your website, your accounts or your enquiry record, and time with the people who handle your enquiries.
What if we are not happy with the work?
Tell us and the plan changes. Everything is reported against the baseline, so a number that is not moving is visible to both sides. The term is in your written scope, and the refund and cancellation policy sets out the rest.
